Hello, I tried to contact the support team via mails but it is a epic fail… So I try on the community forums. I am running Windows 11 with last version of Premiere Pro v26, I got a Decklink 8K Pro G2 interface and a Blackmagic Video Assist HDR monitor. I have a project set up for HDR with correct settings, and I am using the "Bars and tone" generator to create a PQ color bars. The sequence settings in Color Management tab indicate "Direct PQ (HDR)" and I have mercury enabled and set to my Blackmagic Decklink 8K Pro to Color Gamut Rec.2020 PQ.When I display the generated bars it looks correct on the Vectorscope of the Lumetri Scopes (set to Rec.2100 PQ), but on the Vectorscope of the BlackMagic Video Assistm colors seems off (the Video Assist mention that it is receiving Rec.2020 - ST2084 (1000) signal from the HDMI. A close up of the Video Assist: Just for testing purpose, if I tried to add a "Full to legal 10 bits" effect on the color bars and the result on the Blackmagic Video Assist

Any video I upload gets the 'audio playback failed' error message (and says Premiere Pro could not start audio playback errror code 1609891836) when you click play. The app doesn't recognise audio in any of my videos and wouldn't even play. Please see attached image. Can you please help me troubleshoot?

Hi everyone, I am having troubles importing subtitles into Premiere, as italics disappears (it is visibile as <i></i> in Notepad and on subtitles softwares such as Subtitle Edit). If I re-enter it manually on Premiere, it works. I am following this procedure: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/working-with-captions.html and exporting my subtitles in Subtitle Edit as .srt with encoding UTF8 with boom. The weird thing is that some months ago I did the exact same thing (imported .srt into Premiere) and everything worked out, there were no issues with italics. Can anyone help me? Is it maybe due to a Premiere update or something?Thanks 

When I hit Shift+2 more than once in a row, Premiere starts flicking through previous clips in the Source Monitor. I want to disable this, and I’ve successfully done so in the past. Now, I can’t work out how to.Gemini tells me the function I need to disable is “Open Clips in Separate Tabs” but it’s consistently telling me the wrong places to find it. Does anybody know which I can find this option? (although knowing Gemini, it might be making the whole name up too) (for what it’s worth, I’ve double checked, and Source Monitor is definitely the only command mapped to Shift+2)

Anytime I create a multicam sequence and try to color correct within the multicam sequence, after a few adjustments the lumetri window grays out and I cannot make any adjustments. If I embed the multicam sequence within a new sequence I can make adjustments all day long with no issues. But, again, when I go into the container that holds the clips, after a few adjustments I can no longer use lumetri. It grays out. Hi,Whenever I try to save an effect preset and want to use it in effect settings, its not there. I think its bugged. How do I fix it??

Throughout the work day, there are always emails and messages to respond to along with my heavy use in Premiere. Whenever I need to respond to those types of communication, I’ll navigate away from the Premiere window, craft my message, send it off and then return to Premiere.Every single time, without fail, the clip I have selected, and was scrubbing through in the source monitor before sending the aforementioned message, becomes unresponsive for 4-5 seconds, the program monitor freezes or goes black and the timeline suffers a similar lag as I click the keybind to go to the next edit point. I’m just stuck there twiddling my thumbs waiting for premiere to respond.As long as I never navigate away from the Premiere window, this does not happen. I can switch between program and source scrubbing easily. I can queue up different files in the source monitor no problem. There is no lag whatsoever. This happens exclusively when I leave the premiere window to go to any other open application on

A strange, new-to-me audio artifact: Final export of straightforward master multicam sequence (includes dialog track, simple SFX, and music) via Media Encoder (as usual) kept resulting in files in which the dialogue was doubled – meaning it had a single echo, same amplitude as source. But none of the other audio clips were doubled, nor did it occur if I exported a brief section. It continued even after deleting renders and media cache. There are no submixes or other FX on clips or tracks. Finally, exporting directly from Premiere worked. So, seems like something in the ME pipeline? I obviously have a workaround this time, but need to solve this for the next project. This workflow and type of project is not new to me, but I suppose there are plenty of gotchas I wouldn’t know to look for. Thanks for any insights.

relinking offline files has been causing my premiere 2025 (vers 25.6.4 Build 5) to lock up often and give me the spinning rainbow wheel. I wait and I wait for it resolve and when it doesnt i have to force quit the application. The company I’m freelancing with will not let us use Beta or Premiere 2026. Mac os Tahoe 26.3.1, Mac Studio 2023. 128gb memory. 

In the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro, there is an issue when placing keyframes. The last keyframe cannot be set on the final frame of the clip or timeline. Instead, one frame at the very end remains without a keyframe. To place a keyframe on the final frame, it is necessary to resize the interface and make the panels/windows extremely narrow. Hello Adobe Premiere Pro users, I'm trying to make a change to the "Media Cache Management" settings in Premiere Pro's Preferences.  The option for "Automatically delete media cache files when cache exeeds:" is currently set to 92 GB. This seems a bit too high for me. I'd like to change this setting. When I change this setting, click Ok, exit Preferences, and then re-open Preferences, the setting has not saved. I have also tried re-starting Premiere Pro, but my new configuration has still not activated. My Premiere Pro app is up to date. Can anyone help? Many thanks,Ciaran

In premiere, the audio file that I have is only playing from the left side. I have followed all of the YouTube videos on how to fix this, from modifying the audio channel to adding the "fill right audio with left" effect. After adding the effect, the audio file in the timeline still only plays from the left, but in the source it shows that both the left and right audio channels are filled. And when I play the audio file in the source window, it is playing from both the left and the right. So basically, in the timeline, I only get left audio, but the source shows both left and right. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I need to do to make both sides play in the timeline? Thanks!!

Hello,I'm having a bit of an issue with anchors points. I want to zoom in the corner of a video but with using an Adjustment Layer.Then I apply the Transform effect to the Adjustment Layer because I want the shutter angle property for a blur effect.But when I move the Anchor Point of the transform effect, it moves my whole video. Is there a way for it to not do that, the same it does when your just the Anchor Point of Motion part of the pannel?Thank you !

Hi everyone, So I've been recording my voice over's with no issue in Premiere Pro.... until now. It suddenly stopped working... it gives me the countdown and seems to be recording but when I stop it, there's no audio file on the timeline. Any clues on why this might be? I'm already checked System Preferences, Audio Hardware in Premiere's Preferences- both with computer audio and with an external microphone and nothing works. After reading forums for hours I decided to post in here in case anyone can help me... Very frustrating. Thanks in advanced everyone! 

Issue - I edit in list view, with many layers of bins to organize my project. Bins twirl down and back up all the time depending on what I am doing. I leave my bins open in the state I left them when I close a project so I can pick right back up next time. Lately, however, when I re-open a project, all the bins have been collapsed so I have to re-twirl everything back down. I’ve got a project that on export is burning in captions despite setting it to just create a sidecar file. The odd thing is that I have another project from a week or so ago that is able to export properly without burnt in captions. The one that doesn’t work, the sequences have an AE file, it’s a full animation/motion graphics project. The captions are in a normal subtitle track. The project that doesn’t have issues exporting with a sidecar file, that’s got a video track with a ProRes master, some AE supers, and a normal subtitle track. I’ve tried saving an export preset from the project file that’s working, that didn’t work. For the life of me I can’t see a setting in the project or export options that would be forcing the subtitles. Same languages and font usage, nothing has changed in my approach to this new project that’s not exporting properly. I’ve also tried changing settings in ME but that doesn’t seem to solve the issue either.
