Adobe Premiere

This is one of the most frustrating things I've encountered from Adobe Premiere. The Dynamic Link breaks every time I save a project in After Effects. I will save my "linked" After Effects project, go back to Premiere and it breaks the link EVERY TIME. This has been going on so long I just re-link it every time and say "Im switching to Da Vinci". I have the most up to date Premiere and After Effects.    This doesn't happen just once, or right after I open the program. No names are changed, no locations of projects or files change, just every time I hit save....boom, Premiere blows up.   This is unacceptable from a company like Adobe and I can't believe this hasn't been fixed.    See link. Hello dear group,I was having the most ridiculous problems with Premiere 2026 and After Effects 2026 , particularly with their integration. Every time I try to resize the windows in the workspace, the application stops working. I was performing very trivial operations in Premiere 2026, and it kept crashing. To be fair, the next day the situation improved—except when I tried to drag a guide, at which point the same issue occurred again. I’ve been very careful not to make any unnecessary movements.Yesterday, when I converted a Premiere clip into an After Effects composition (AE 2026), I encountered the same problem multiple times—this time in After Effects. I’m even embarrassed to report such a trivial issue, but it is what it is. I just spent two hours reopening the app, restarting my computer, and so on.I’m not very hopeful, but if anyone has any insights or advice about this ridiculous situation, I would be very grateful. Thank you. 

I just tried using it in Premiere and got a strange glitch that I can’t troubleshoot.I’m running Premiere 26.0.2 on a Mac.Screenshot attached illustrates the issue. The color fields stay regardless of rendering, timeline size, and frame rate.btw, it works fine in Premiere Pro 2025 and older versions. This is a problem I've seen for a couple of Adobe Premiere Pro versions now and lately on Premiere Pro V 26.0.2. How to replicate:1 - Duplicate your video track by ALT+drag and place the new track above the old one (so same video in V1 and V2). 2 - Create a Freeze frame on the top layer.3 - Bug: the top layer won't freeze. But if you hide the layer below (V1) or move the layer below to later in the time line the V2 layer will freeze and work as expected. Workaround is to use freeze frame segment instead or simply move the layer below to layer in the time line. But quite annoying bug that's been around for a while. I'm on a PC and I've been able to replicate this on multiple computers. 

Hello,I would like to report what appears to be an issue with XML exported from Adobe Premiere Pro. Environment Adobe Premiere Pro 26.0.2 DaVinci Resolve 20.3.2 I found a problem related to overlap / Cross Dissolve transitions in XML exported from Premiere. When a timeline containing OL / Cross Dissolve transitions is exported from Premiere as XML and then imported into DaVinci Resolve, the transitions appear visually in the timeline, but during actual playback they are not applied correctly and behave like simple cuts. After comparing the Premiere-exported XML with a Resolve-exported XML of the same edit, I found the following transition parameters in the Premiere XML:<startratio>0</startratio><endratio>0</endratio>If I manually change the XML to:<startratio>0</startratio><endratio>1</endratio> the overlap / dissolve works correctly in Resolve. From what I understand, the original Premiere values may still be technically valid as XML d

Issue: After the initial mask is produced, all subsequent masking done by “Object Mask” has severe aliasing/stepping.  Steps to Reproduce: When I click on Object Mask on any object, the first mask visual is very good. Once you click on “track selected mask” in any direction and any number of frames, all subsequent masking has very severe aliasing. Expected Result: I would expect that the really good and clean first mask that is created would continue throughtout the tracking. Premiere Version: 26.0.1 and 26.0.2 Operating System: Both on Windows 11 and MacOS (currently on Sequoia 15.5) This was recreated on a friend’s machine as well. Friend’s footage. Initially a clean and good mask.Subsequent frames are heavily aliased. This is true even if there is a Frame Hold. 

Hi , I have anissue with adobe premiere 2020 with not allowing me change the text for simple text. I thought the issue from the file I am working witih, but unfortunatily I tried that with new project and the issue still exist.it is not reponding to me while I want to change the font ftom the listMy os is windows 10. here is a image for the issue.

And when I create a keyframe manually, there's no animation.Tracking works.But manually animating a mask path no longer works, whether the mask is assigned or not.Thanks for your help.

Dragging a nested sequence into another timeline preserves all adjustment layers, while copying and pasting the same content does not include them.

where did the masks functions move in the latest update? I need to create custom shape masks, not just cropping - - and that option seems to have disappeared. 

When attempting to transcribe my sequence, the auto captions load bar gets stuck at Beginning Language Pack Download. Any fixes would be appreciated.

The animated glow and bright blue-ish color no longer appears as the graphics fade in from a blur. It is clear that several core effects have been discontinued, but this has only left a broken architecture. Resorting to the prior version(s) of Premiere only results in crashes and seized processes. SInce I pay handsomely for the full license every year, I am not pleased that Adobe has so thoroughly fractured a core product line.Please restore your prior effects or repair your interface. The current state of your applications are nearly zero value for the stiff price I have already paid.

I'm trying to do a rough cut of two rough cuts lol meaning I am importing.MP for files just to play around with a couple of options to show my editor and both have the following audio codec MPEG-4 AAC, 48000 Hz and when I drag and drop the MP4's into the import bin, there's no audio at all. I have tried to Transcode them as well honestly, about 100 times with various settings using Shutter Encoder and nothing works. I have the same issue every single time I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I'm losing my mind

When in the Essentials workspace, in the Lumetri Colour Panel on the rightside, there are times when I am using the Curves Graph and it just stops allowing me to make changes. My mouse can’t grab onto the graph. The only way to continue editing is to swtich to the colour workspace.

I have this clip that i filmed and i think the audio is destroyed. I’m wondering if there is a way to fix it or is it too far gone? This is just a tiny clip but the whole audio is like this. thanks in advance 

I'm using the Logitech MX Master 3 on a MacBook Air M1. I have mainly 2 problems... 1 - When I zoom in a timeline with the Alt+Vertical Scroll, the timeline zoom all the way without any issues, at any speed. But when I try to zoom out fast, it goes all the way out and sudently goes all the way in very fast at the zoom. It's very annoying because when I wanna see all the project by zooming out, I have to do it very slowly. (In the video: 00:00 - 00:13) 2 When I use the the zoom in/out with the Alt+Horizontal Scroll of the MX Master 3, the "stops" are not quite smooth. Between one and another stop the change is too much abrupt... (In the video: 00:13 - final) Any solutions for this problems?
