Audition

I cannot monitor any audio during recording (whether through my bluetooth headphones or mac speakers), I would prefer to hear the audio through Audition (I know Blue Yeti has a headphone jack, but that play back is not very good) while I can hear the audio through the headphones and speakers during playback. Is there any way to hear the microphone during recording or do I have to listen to the awful Blue Yeti playback while I record? This is Mac-related, but if there is any info that could lead to the answer I would be extremely thankful. Rob  

I work with an Archive of single speaker talks. Some have recording or transfer errors where the voice slows down and/or speeds up randomly every few seconds. Anyone have experience repairing these kind of files? There is supposed to be a way to do this in Audition, but even the support people can't find it. The manual mentions the Spectral Pitch display, but the prcedure described foesn't exist in the latest version of Auduin. Any ideas?

I installed the new version of Audition today, and proceeded to rip nearly 60 tracks (some over one hour in duration) from various compact discs. Listening to one of the files just now, I heard a short (less than one second) dropout toward the end. I have since visually inspected a couple of files, but found no obvious dropouts. Has anyone else had this problem with version 25.6.0.97?

Hi!I'm having some issues when I apply "Dynamics processing" and the "sidechain" effect and links that to autoduck the music under speak.In the Multitrack view it works as supposed, but when I mixdown the multitrack to a single file, it applied the "Dynamics processing" effect on the entire track, instead of only when the ducking should be applied during speech. It used to work flawlessly, but for some reason after updating to Audition 2020, it doesn't work as it's supposed to anymore. I've tried creating a new track and using that, but the effect is the same. Thank you in advance. Best regards,Patrick

When inserting a short clip (seconds not minutes) into a new multitrack session, clip shows up at the END of a very long time line. Any ideas?

I have a recording of someone delivering a speech. There's a moment where he says something funny, but he says the wrong word in the punchline. The viewers will know what he meant, so it'll still work if we can't fix this, but I'm curious: does Adobe have a (likely AI-powered?) tool that can make him say a different word? (I'm posting this same question in the Premiere Pro community, in case that is the better place for this.) I checked, he does not say the word anywhere else in the speech, so I can't pull it from elsewhere and edit it in. 

I'm thinking of on DLSR cameras you can bracket exposure, take photos as flat exposure and then +/- 2/3 or 1 or whatever. Is that possible on Adobe Audition? I've searched on the Internet — and maybe I'm not searching for the right thing — but found nothing.

I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Audition. I ended up not using it and I’m not satisfied with it. Now Adobe is trying to charge me 27 euros per month. I can’t find the button to cancel the subscription. It also doesn’t appear in my plans. I do not use the program and I do not have it installed on my computer.

This just started happening yesterday for me and is driving me nuts. I use the 5 clipboards extensively to cut and paste audio while I'm editing but Audition is now randomly but frequently selecting my entire audio clip and copying it to the clipboard. This is then overwriting what I've already saved to the clipboard and instead of pasting the one small audio clip I'm trying to paste, I'm pasting the entire audio file. To workaround it I'm having to quickly copy to my Clipboard and then switch to a second Clipboard before the random Select All/Copy happens. Searching the internet I've found the primary suggestion is to delete the temporary files and/or the preferences and start fresh. System:PCWindows 11Adobe Audition 2025 (but it's happening in 2024 and 2023 as well) Steps I've taken: Backed up (exported) my preference filesDeleted the Temporary directories and restartedReset all Audition preferencesDisabled all of my pluginsCharged my mouse in case it's a blu

How do I manually Import All Media Files to the session folder on my own accord (i.e. at a later time, after hitting 'No' on this warning), or is this auto-prompt the only way that Audition can perform such a function? Is this function executable from somewhere on the dropdown top-menus, and I'm simply overlooking it? Thanks forum.

When I record audiobooks I bill the publisher based on the total finished length of the book. Currently I have to add up the length of all the chapter files by typing them manually into a spreadsheet to get the total. Is there a faster way to do this? For instance, by either: a) seeing or calculating the total duration of all open files in Audition; orb) copying the values in the duration column of the "Files" tab for easy pasting into a spreadsheet? Any other ideas are also welcome. Thanks,Brian

Gonna leave this post up just in case it helps anyone else 🙂 Hello!I recently got Adobe Audition and although it's been hard to figure out, I'm excited to use it!The one roadblock I've come across so far, is that the melodyne effect doesn't seem to want to load correctly, making it unusable.When I try to use it as a VST it looks like thisand when I try to use it as an AU it looks like this:I was using reaper before, which I still have and melodyne works on it so it's not the end of the world, I can always export and use melodyne and then import it back, but I'd rather use all one DAW if possible! While editing a huge audio project, about 80% of the time I hit pause or play, the playhead jumps back to the beginning of the timeline. This is driving me crazy, since it means I have to go hunting for the actual point I left off in the project and re-orient myself to the task I was previously immersed in. It's doubling my working time. Is this an option I can turn off? (It's also not consistently happening every time.)Also, if I've split audio already, sometimes when the playhead moves from one split clip to the next, as soon as it crosses the split, it will jump back to the beginning. I'm starting to pull out my hair every time I hear the first two seconds of my intro music!

Has anyone got this problem? I have a brand new Dell Latitude 5455 snapdragon x plus-not even a month old. I was using an Adobe Beta for remote radio recording-worked perfectly until this morning, I have spent all day trying to get the problem solved. Adobe tells me it's a Microsoft issue with c++ files.  There seems to be no way to get hold of Microsoft. I'm obviously paying a monthly fee to Adobe. I'm at my wits end! 

What way(s) can I  make an indoor audio clip match to an outdoor clip?   Trying to make the indoor clip sound like it is outside from another clip.  Is there a shortcut to it?  

This DC Offset in my .wav file is very apparent in the waveform view - in the left & right channel windows the vertical shift down from the usual  symmetrical waveform  see image uploaded.  But I found no 'Repair DC offset' in my Audition 2025s Favourites menu like in Larrys Jordans youtube "Verify Audio Quality and Fix DC Offset Problems Using Adobe Audition 2021"    where he fixes same issue by that favourite. But obvious from the videos content is he is using *Audition 2021  and on an Apple Mac.  So my problem is just that - how do I get my Audition 2025 to repair this nasty offset and thus edit the horrible sound coming from the offset - it sounds like a greasy kitchen wipeup sponge was rubbed over the source vinyl EP before playing it.

Hello, I am using a PC, Adobe Audition and a Rodecaster Pro to record a multitrack conversation between three people.  When I listen to it afterwards, the sound is horribly distorted about every ten to twenty minutes for about two- five minutes.  I'm assuming that there's some kind of latency problem or interference in the computer (anti-virus or Cloud updating or other processes running), but I don't know how to fix it.  What should I do?  What can I check?  I have a Dell XPS 8940Windows 10 Prox64-based PCIntel Core i9-10900 CPU @2.8O GHz, 2808 Mhz, 10 cores, 20 logical processorsNVIDA GeForce RTX 2070 64 GBI am using ASIO4ALL V2 and the Buffer Size is 1024 and the sample rate is 48000.  The Device List correctly shows the Rodecaster Pro Multichannel. For a few months, it was working fine, but in the past month, this problem has been happening every single time I record.  Is there something I'm doing wrong?  &n

Hi i wor k in a radio station, Tamar Fm in Australia and we have used adobe audition 3.0 for many years now, yes it's old but reliable and simple to use and since yesterday the save format changed from PCM without the 25 in it..... Window PCM(*.wav.*bwf) ........          to now suddenly including the 25........ Window PCM(*25.*.wav.*bwf) ........    and it becomes unplayable as a wave file after what was recorded is saved and our radio system heavily relies on wave files rather than Mp3s and i understand there is wma but it's odd how this has changed to 25. Could anyone please help us with this issue. From the bottom of the world aka George Town, Tasmania, Australia i say Kudos in advance for reading this and any advice would be so much appreciated

Hello everyone!Does anyone understand snapping really well? My ruler won't snap, despite multiple approaches.- Audition '25, Windows 11: Ausus Zenbook Flip 14 i7 16GB Regardless how I drag the cursor / ruler in Multi-track, or create a selection in Waveform, or which snapping settings I use, it only ever snaps to mid-way between sample points (i.e. the square points super close-up). Typical setup: Mutli-track, Time Display in Decimals (Synchronize with time display preferences), Edit > Snapping > Enabled.- I choose Snap to Ruler (Course)- I undo any other snapping settings (Just Enabled / Snap to Ruler (course).- There's no change. I tried testing it to Snap to Zero Crossings, and in a selection when I would Adjust Selection Inward, it would go to "near" the zero crossings, but only as close as mid-way between sample points. But I cannot drag the ruler, or it won't snap in creating a selection, to time increments (i.e. seconds or minutes), or frames and beats,

Previously, I could record music from the internet with Audition. After reinstalling Windows 11, it's no longer working. When I go to Audition Preferences > Audio Hardware, I only see either System Default - No Input or No Input. I think I used to have a choice of Stereo Mix, but I don't see that anymore. Is there a way to record audio again (sound card NVDIA IPS235)?

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me.I'm looking for Adobe Audition loops.

Recently I acquired a TASCAM 202 MK VII audio cassette deck. I have begun digitizing many, though not all, of my 350 or so cassettes. The deck has a USB B port and I am able to connect the tape deck to my PC’s (desktop and laptop) USB Type A or USB 3.0 port. Audition recognizes the signal and records the input.The input signal level from the TASCAM into Audition doesn’t leave me much headroom. The TASCAM deck does not allow for the output level via USB to be adjusted. I reviewed alternate means to adjust the incoming signal level, such as right clicking the speaker icon in the task bar; it does not appear the USB signal is considered to be an audio input source. A friend loaned me a Behringer U-Phoria UMC22. All that did was confuse the computers and/or me. What it didn’t do was allow me to adjust the signal level going into Audition. I am open to suggestions.  The only solution I can think of is to get a mixer that has an USB Type A or USB 3.0 input port, the output is
