Hello, Im a beginner in Audition and audio and would like to know more 🙂I'm working on a new audio project for a Nature fragment with multiple nature sounds,is it advisable to convert a 441000 Hz audio clip to 48000 Hz for audio post-production and optimalisation in Audition, or should I leave it as it is, edit it, and then convert the file to 48000 Hz afterwards? I download it from Pixabay, but the sound effects i download there have not the same audio sample rate, it varies from 24000 to 441000 Hz.  After edit i would put them into a Multitrack project with Bustracks and Master them to a complete audiofile with background music and background naturesound.      

Is anyone else's delete button on a Macbook no longer working to remove selected sections of audio since the update today?

The AUHostingCompatibilityService (AA 2025) keeps crashing when using the Izotope RX8 plugins from Audition. It happens when the Show Preview Editor pane in AA is open and the RX De-Click module or Voice De-click modules are used.  It freezes (pinwheel of death) after adjusting the sliders on the RX pop-up windows - seems to happen most often when the Click Widening slider is moved.  The module appears in the Activity Monitor as Not Responding. Using the latest Adobe Audition version and latest iOS on Mac desktop.

Hi. I'm recording while i'm playing. And i'm recording Gameplay/Discord on same audio track and i remember a feature in Audition where you could remove the front audio from Discord vocies and only hear the gameplay.

Hi, There are some car noise and notification sounds recorded and it's overlapped with the vocal. How can I remove them in Adobe Audition? Also, is there any AI tool I can use to restore missing vocals? I have recorded the sound using Riverside and the vocal sounds so glitchy when it's overlapped with other people. It will be really helpful to get some advice to enhance sound quality in general for the podcast! Thanks,  

After researching this issue, it appears that the problem with Audition is that it was never improved to the point of taking advantage of multi-threading processors. Projects with more than 5-6 tracks start to bog down horribly with hangs of 10-20 seconds after perfectly normal editing actions, combined with pressing play, getting the "Calculating Playback" notification, then waiting 10-20 seconds for playback to begin. Additionally, it's necessary to limit processor-intensive effects like reverbs to only 1-2 instances per project to avoid extremely choppy, bogged-down playback. I have a 9th gen 24 core proc that is hardly working, but Audition was never adapted to take advantage of it's power. I pay a fairly hefty annual fee to use the Adobe suite. I worked for 25 years as a video producer for an institution that paid for everything. Now that I'm retired, it's on me. Is it too much to ask to have an audio production application that is on par with Adobe's other industry-leading apps?

When I right-click a wav, and then select "insert into multitrack" nothing happens. 6 second video here: Dropbox - Insert Into Mulitrack.mp4 - Simplify your life .I can drag it into the multitrack fine, but, I feel like there's something I am missing. What is it about this operation that I am doing wrong?Thanks for any help!Cheers,-bb

I made a video out the window of a plane at takeoff.  The video footage is great, however for the first 3 minutes of the video, the airline has the safety video and comercial's playing, ruining the ambience and feel tht I'm trying to provide for my viewers..  I'm trying to remove the talking but preserve the noise of the plane and the engines. I extracted the audio into an MP3 since I figured this might be a task for Adobe Audition rather than Premiere Pro.   I attached a screenshot from Audition.  Prior to the playhead, I can see where all of the chatter is in the red marks in the purple area and even the yellow lines in the red area.  If there's a way to isolate those and remove them, awesome. Please note that I've use Audition only a few times and probably only the most basic tasks, but I'd like to learn how to do this.  See attached MP3 file.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

Hello, everyone.  I've recorded sides of vinyl records into one file, and I want to separate them into individual tracks.  I used to be able to do it in older versions by setting markers and merginf them, but I have Audition 2025 now and I cannot figure out how to do it.  Can someone help me? Thanks!

I have been given a new computer by the college   (good news/bad news) I want to move all my session templates from the current adobe over the the NEW adobe on the new machine ( and frankly also my home computer)   my files should all be saved on the Google Drive, so finding them should be good,   but how can i move those Session templates to the other adobe auditions that i work on and would like to be consistent/seamless

This is part question and part frustration. I export mp3 files from Premiere to edit in Audition. Then when I export final mp3s from Audition and put it in Premiere, it's always out of alignment by 1+ frames so everytime I have to figure that out and get it in alignment.  In attachment, the green marker on the audio file is where the audio lines up to the beginning of the original Premiere audio. Is this fixable or is this an Adobe issue? Thanks y'all.Shay

According to the Adobe Software License Agreement (EULA), it seems that modifying and using these sound effects in a game is permitted, as long as they are not distributed as a standalone product or claimed as trademarked content.Could you please confirm if it’s acceptable to:Edit (e.g., trim or modify) Adobe Audition’s sound effects and use them in a commercial game?Publish the game on Steam without violating the EULA, provided the sound effects are integrated as part of the game and not distributed separately?Any clarification or additional guidance on ensuring compliance with the EULA would be greatly appreciated. Hello all. I’m reaching out here because I don’t know what to do anymore. I am working on a large audio project in Adobe Audition, and as of a week ago the session is no longer opening. When opening the “estimated time remaining” goes down to 10 seconds, but then slowly and indefinitely increases. This also happens with backups and old versions of the project. I have tried restarting my computer, re-installing Audition with the Cleaner Tool, turning off my plug-ins, and checking all the permissions. I had to force quit the application.I will take ANY advice, I’m pretty upset by this. Thank you! I tried to get my system information and the error report but I'm not sure how to upload it.  I'm on a Macbook Pro 2023. Sonoma 14.3Adobe Audition 25.3.0.71      

Im trying to find the keyboard shortcut to move the time indicator to the next / previous clips. Apparently it is 'CMD + Left / Right Arrow' but that doesn't work for me, it just sorta moves the whole timeline?

I see a few different ways to adjust the volume of a clip, but find all of them quite awkward as it means dragging the value with my mouse. Is it possible to enter a number anywhere for what I want the volume to be? E.g. the bit in the bottom left of a clip, can I type in a number somehow instead of clicking / dragging with the mouse? 

Hi.I installed Adobe Audition CS6, and VST plugins and VS3T don't appear in Effects Windows, only the names VST and VST3.I've been in "Audio Plug-in Manager" and selected the folder where the plugins are "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Audition CS6\Plug-ins\VST3" and "Scan for plug-ins" and don't appear in the "Available Plug-Ins".This situation is normal? I have a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 soundcard installed on your system.Thank you.Paulo.

HelloI have Adobe Audition 24.4, and I have all set up in the right order, except when I tried to record in waveform, not a multitrack session, I cannot hear anything, and the only way is after the capture is finished.On the other hand, in a multitrack session is possible to apply R and I inside the channel.I'm working on Windows 10. Thanks  for the feedback

Hey! I have never had this problem before so this is kinda frustrating. I am currently working on post-conference mix for a church. When I try to export the files to make a final mix, the estimated time goes down and then shoots back up and keeps going up and the progress percentage stops. I have waited and waited but even then it just sits there and stalls. I have used nothing outside of stock plugins and I have even closed all background processes and I still am unable to export or bounce the mix to a new track. I have not seen any documentation to help me. I am using an M1 Macbook Pro and my project is exporting from my external HDD to my local desktop. Please help!

I have been asked by someone to extract the speech audio out of a video. The video was recorded on a helmet mounted go pro at an indoor electric go cart track whilst she was driving around the track. There is strong concern for the young girl who is wearing the helmet based on some of the stuff that can be understood. A lot of her talking is very muffled and hard to understand. Anyone have those skills? My skills barely rate amateur. the video is 10 minutes long. I have the original video.I have extracted the audio into .wav format but happy to share the original video if someone prefers that format.The person who asked me to do it is very open to discussing payment.

Is there a way to set up Adobe Audition to automatically enter the Start Date and End Date as the current date?        i have the wide orbit plug in, and would love for the date to be entered as today (current) each time and change it as needed as opposed to load it each time.     ideas?   thanks    

I'm having problems with a project where I've selected a few sound effects, and when I close the session, the unused ones are deleted, so I have to import them again. Can someone help me by explaining how I can configure Audition to not delete unused clips?

Hi! I recorded 4 audio files from two separate mics that have their own built in SD cards. Why 4? Welp....2 of the tracks are simply 9db lower than the previous. My goal is to algorithmically sync the two files in audition, however!  There appears to be no easy way. And thus, in order to actually get my job done, I am very, extremely, irrationally (some may say) irked to have to open premiere and use its sync feature. Do keep in mind, Im a totes newb to Audtion and maybe I'm missing some workflow?  But methinks....there is no such feature. Yes I did look into "automatic speech alignment" but I do not believe that is the correct tool for this particular job. Please and Thank you!

Hi!So I've recorded some music using Adobe Audition using a backing track and my mini studio set. All is recorded and finished with a few effects.Playback using Audition seems to be fine, occasionally some pops will come up but if I go back to repeat where I heard the pop, it doesn't play again - so I assume its a buffering or cache issue. When I export it to mp3, wav and aac, the files actually retain the pops in different spots to the playback in Audition but this time when I go back to replay it, the pop is still there. So the popping becomes apart of the track even though it is technically not in the sesx file.Is there a way I can fix this? Perhaps an export type that doesn't produce the popping...
