Hi, I downloaded a granite material pack from the internet. I'm trying to export those materials from sampler to painter, but is not working properly. How can I solve this?Thanks!!

Using Sampler for cusom fabric dev and noticed the most recent version of sampler has a big issue. The "Color Custom Weave" tool is missing/broken. I don't get the typical import image or paint option when I toggle the option on. I get a blank drop down menue that does nothing...Anyone else experiencing this issue? Using MacOS Monterey v12.4Adobe Sampler v4.2.1 This bug has rendered the software useless to us...

As mentioned above. I'm trying to run the unmodified version of the export_all.py script found here:https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-sampler/scripting-and-development/create-a-script-with-python/example-scripts.htmlWhen I start the script, nothing happens. Nothing at all, no UI interactivity, no files are being exported, nothing. I'd call it a crash, but it still shows changing CPU activity - what doesn't have to mean much.The script seems to be fine, so I assume there are some heavy bugs in Sampler which make it impossible to be used in a production environment. Which is pretty disappointing. App version: Latest supplied by the Adobe CC app, freshly reinstalledPlatform: WindowsSteps to reproduce: Open file, start script, crashExpected result: Files get exportedReal result: App hangs infinitely, no files get exportedThis is a critical error in Substance Sampler's Python pipeline.Not even the most simple example works. I have created some tiled materials. The customer complains that they are too large, which is because of how the tiling algorithm works. When I enter a transform layer on top of the stack, I'd expect the tiled material to be scaled while keeping its tileability, but when I scale it, the tiling doesn't match anymore. Is this a bug or a feature? Any hints on how to avoid this?  

 When Exporting Texture Maps, the Default Name always Starts with Untitled.By default, it should always start with the Project Name.Thanks

I'm having an issue with Substance Sampler.  I've been tryong to play around with the Photogrammetry Tool, and when I get to Mesh Reconstruction, I always get an error message (see errorimage01). My photos aren't the problem.  A friend tried mesh reconstruction on her computer with my photos and it worked great. I believe the issue is that my caches are going off of the cloud instead of any of my local drives.  Apparently, my User profile is all linked to OneDrive, and that's where my caches are going.  I tried to change them (the 2 caches and my 3D capture) manually to my local drive and got the same error.  Has anyone experienced this issue before with PC laptops?  I've updated my graphics card driver settings adn optimized them; my specs all appear good to run the program, I have enough space on my local drives and on the cloud (my OneDirve has 1 Terabyte of space,)Any help would be much appreciated.

Using Sampler 4.2.0: Steps:1. In Sampler, use a filter or image having shapes using various grayscale levels (but as RGBA) in the basecolor channel with an alpha channel delimiting the shapes.2. Export the basecolor as PNG: check the export has proper transparency as defined by the source image or filter (it should) .3. Back to Sampler, add a Color Variation filter on top to assign each grayscale level to a specific color.4. Export the basecolor as PNG. Expected result: the PNG should still have transparency. Actual result: transparency is not present in the PNG. 

For some reason the in app link to the Documentation (via the Help menu), appears to be broken, showing a 404 page not found error. Can we please get this fixed 🙂 Thank you.

Hello, I'm not sure if it is a bug or a feature but if it is a feature it is a pretty bothering one : if I save as a new file with a new name I expect the new file to behave as a totally independant one, not with dependancies with the other version.I'm using a picture A as base in the file 1.If I create a file 2, it is in order to be able to use a picture B independantly in the new file. If B change A it's... useless. It's a huge loss of time if I have to redo everything. At the minimum, we need to have the possibility to choose. UPDATE : Ok, now to make things worse, the duplicate file leads sampler to crash at launch.If I can understand Painter, Sampler and Designer to be, somehow, synchronized, a new file shouldn't be synchronized in anyway. I've been attempting to import pictures( of a Zootopia style wolf ), that are multi angle but for some reason it keeps giving me a unexpected error, yesterday the pictures did import but it would fail on the align stage, but now it doesn't even import into the program anymore  

Hi! I've just got started on Adobe Sampler and I'm trying to convert a set of images from a product photoshoot into a 3D object.  Importing the photoset goes fine, but it comes up with "an unexpected error occured" in the alignment process.  I made the images transparent PNGs in the hopes that it would be super easy for the AI to find the object but even with bight green background JPEG, it threw up the same error. Any advice? My PC specs are attached, as well as a error log and a screenshot of the error!

Hello! I made a script that creates an asset, adds a layer and sets a layer's parameter. When it runs from the main thread, everything works. When I use threading, it doesn't set the parameter value. I made a project on the most recent version of Sampler last night, and this morning it says the project is invalid.  Or it hard crashes on loading it. In addition files I made in 2021 won't open with a variety of different errors, either 'filters aren't supported on my hardware' or 'the file could not be read' My experience with saving and loading in this software has been awful, I don't know what I could be doing wrong.  I don't have problems with any other substance programs, and my hardware is high end, and I have the latest version of all drivers. Here are dropbox links for all the problematic files, I would appreciate any assistance.  I am trying to teach a class to use this software, but if it's this unreliable in simply saving and opening files, I just can't rely on it. 'Invalid Project" - made with latest versionhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/g3ew0paoeuzsmas/subwayStationMaterials%20-%20invalid%20project.ssa?dl=0'Cannot be read' - made in 2021 vers

Hello, our IT dept have installed Substance Sampler for us on our mac but when trying to create a new project the option to create a new 3D object using 3D object (beta) is not appearing an an option. We succesfully used this proir to the IT dept re-imaging and re-installing all software on our mac. We are also unable to open this previous project now, and can't create a new one as the 3D Object (beta) is not appearing where we expect to. Does anyone know why this option is not there anymore, or how we can get it back?Any help greatly appreciated!  

Hi, according to the changelog, Sampler should be able to support Apple Silicon. I already tried removing and reinstalling through Steam, but only ever get the Intel edition. Painter and Designer are being installed correctly with the Apple Silicon binaries. How can I install the Apple Silicon version of Substance Sampler (Steam Edition)? Thank you

When using the most recent version of the 3ds max plugin (2.4.9) in 3ds max 2023 / and corona 9, sbsar files created in Sampler (3.4.1) do not render. It will show up in the viewport correctly but will not render at all. The thumbnail in the material editor also only shows a black color. Please fix this issue as soon as possible as it is costing me many (unbillable) hours trying to find a work around. Thank you, jason

Hello, Is it possible to use "cloth" layer alone with only color custom weave to colorize it or I need to do something else?The result with cloth and color custom look exactly as rough as I wish in the preview but when it comes to the render preview, the color custom weave is ignored.

When I try to create a 3D Object 3D Sampler from images exported from Clo, the file errors out about 1/4 way through the creation process.  Is this becuase the photos (jpg) came from a program instead of a camera?

Why does this problem occur when I take mesh results from the sampler to the blender and use the wire frame function?It is divided into three lines.

Creating a normal folder may not be a problem! "However, after I accidentally created a huge local folder (perhaps as high as 200G), the software crashed as soon as I entered it, and I was unable to perform any other operations. Perhaps this was my mistake. I had to uninstall the software and reinstall it. I hope the staff can test this error. Thank you."

-Windows 11-3D Sampler 4.0.2 Hi There seems to be a problem when exporting AORM (Ambient occlusion, roughness, metallic all in one texture) textures map using the unreal engine 4 preset in png format. Today, I saw that simplified Chinese is supported, so I bought it. But when I opened the trial, the filter was all in English, and it was not translated into Chinese. It seems to be the same in the past version?! Only a small amount of English has been translated, and most of them are still English. I don't know if I will further improve English translation! This is laziness!
