When tryin to open a file by choosing the file menu then open the browse box is blank. Version 24.2
I recently updated Photoshop 26.2.0 and now when I am working in the "File Info" section the text no longer wraps within the window. As soon as I put the cursor in the window, the text automatically loses its formatting and goes out of the box. No matter how I resize the window horizontally or vertically it still just goes out of the box. (see screen shot below please) It makes filling out these sections much more time consuming. Is there a bug fix for this? I'm on a 2024 Macbook Pro/ 64 ram/ 2 TB hard drive/ Sequoia 15.3 iOS. Thanks for your time I really hope someone have a fix for this! 🙂
Issue: Classic Gradient Editor doesn't change the active gradient, instead creates a new Preset Photoshop version: 26.1.0 20241113.r.121 158e617 x64 OS: Windows 11 64-bit Steps to reproduce: Create a new document. Select the Gradient tool, then Classic gradient Click on the box containg the gradient to open the Gradient editor Make any changes to the gradient then click OK Expected result: Active gradient should reflect the changes we just madeActual result: The new gradient is saved as a preset while active gradient stays unchanged It started happening after I updated Photoshop to version 26, it worked perfectly until then. I cannot imagine this being anything other than a bug. I included a video showing the bug in action. {System Info added as attachment}
Hello, I'm on MacOS 15.1.1 (24B91) using Version 26.3.0 As soon as I try generating anything on photoshop (Generative Fill / Generative Expand) I have this message, basically saying "To access Firefly's fonctionnalities in Adobe softwares, you need to have authentic Adobe apps" but I actually have a Uni license so I guess its authentic. Anyone in the same situation ? Any ideas of how to solve this ? I've already tried to uninstall / re install creative cloud as well as Photoshop.
I have been having this annoying problem for several weeks now. None of the solutions on the internet work at all. If this is your first time reading about this problem, these are the solutions I've seen so far (none of them is a real solution, each one causes other problems): - Uncheck "Use graphics processor" in the performance tab in configuration. Result: It disables the rotating canvas features for Wacom tablets after a couple of minutes or just instantly. - Check "Deactivate native canvas" and/or "Older GPU Mode (pre 2016)" in technology previews tab. Result: It becomes absurdly lagged, it is useless to work, just moving the canvas makes it go at 1fps. I also have all my drivers updated (GPU, Windows, Wacom), PS updated, and with priority for the GPU. Is there any real solution for this? I have an RTX 3080 8 GB. This should not happen.
Suddenly, my Photoshop 2024 (v. 25.12) will no longer launch Liquify. (In searches, this has been a periodic issue. I've tried the various fixes, but none seem to work.) The exact same image edited in Photoshop 2023 (v. 24.7.1) launches Liquify and works without a hitch. (Because PS has become buggier since launching the subscription-only model, I always keep one or two back versions for exactly this reason.) I am using Liquify on a PSD file, but the same occurs regardless of file format or program used to create that file from RAW. The error in the latest version of Photoshop is "Could not complete the Liquify command because of disk error." This is obviously BS because the earlier version of PS has no issues whatsoever completing the command. Anyone experienced this and found a solution that works? I work on a PC Desktop, Windows 11, lots of memory, scratch disk space, SSD space, Radeon graphics card with 12GB RAM.
The new version of Photoshop V22.1.0 promises support for HEIC files but I still can't open the Canon HIF files produced by the R5 and R6. I believe these are HEIC format but they won't open even after installing Windows 10 HEIC and HEVC extensions or renaming the file to .HEIC. Only the Canon DPP app opens them at present. There was also a Canon firmware update that promised improved compatability but this makes no difference. Is it a Canon or Adobe problem?
Today I update Photoshop to the latest (23.2) and now the Export As dialog does a miserable job on export quality. Even at the highest setting of 7, the pictures saved to web as JPG are _signiciantly_ bad. Just a day before—before I updated—the quality was no problem and the norm of what I had expected for the last few years. Now, it’s so bad I have to figure out a workaround. This is not good with a week of critical photo work to bang out.
The Photoshop ExtendScript API has a typo in the close method of the Document object. The saving parameter should be SaveOptions instead of SaveOptionsType.
So the lag of a second or so (1000 milliseconds+) in clicking to draw or select something, with the mouse,in Photoshop, magically disappears if you run Photoshop as administrator. Yay! (Photoshop 22.2) However... in fixing that Photoshop will no longer open a .PSD file in a folder by double clicking its icon Nothing happens. (Photoshop gets focus - mouse cursor changes to blue spinny wheel for a moment, no file is opened) Opening said file from Photoshop's FIle Menu works as nomal. So how do we fix the problem to fix the problem? #Photoshophouseofcards
When I use the generative fill to add detail to an image I get the error "We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request at this time. Thank you for your patience. Please try again later. " The error has persisted since last week. I have tried severals to use it. I have updated and reverted to old versions trying to fix this problem to no avail. As of right it now it causing a work stoppage. Thanks, Lisa Noble
I have a series of jpg files shot with Dwarf II telescope using PANO landscope mode. When I attempt to load the entire set 270 images it creates a mess of a pano. These images are clean, about 40% overlap. If I use a subset - say 120, it stitches fine. All the images are fine, they can be loaded and viewed in other programs. the images are 3840x2160. Is there a physical limit to what can be handled? LR won't stitch either. No errors, just botched output in PS and hung processing in LR. This is a just few monhts old loaded Mac Studio, so cpu/memory/disk resources isn't a problem.
A problem with the History Panel. When I Open History Options and check “Show New Snapshot Dialog by Default”, this function does not work, I do not get a New Snapshot Dialog. See attached screen shot. Suggestions welcome.
I'm using the Selective Color Adjustment layer to create a Red mask by turning the Black in all the Colors in the dialog to +100% except the Red which is - 100%. The Absolute radio button is selected. The problem is when I incorporate these parameters into a recorded Action. The Action defaults back to the Relative radio button which ruins the result I'm trying to achieve as a repeatable option. This seems like a programming bug.
As subject states there are several adjustment layers that no longer work on 26.2 and beta. Made a new file - CMYK 8bit filled a layer with color, attempted to apply adjustment layer and it is greyed out. Curves, hue saturation and maybe more. I went back to 25.12 and it works as it should with no issues. Windows 11.
I can reproduce a Photoshop crash in the following manner every time: - Go to Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts - Type "quick" into the search bar - Click on the marked spot on the screenshot. This creates a text entry field for a shortcut, that doesn't have a function assigned to it - Click anywhere else on the UI - Photoshop crashes Can anyone else reproduce this behavior? Using PS 26.3.0 and Windows 10.
Had to get a new printer recently and I am now getting constant crashes when trying to print old PSD files (hundreds that I might need to print at any given time). What I have done: Removed all old printer drivers. Ensured all current printer drivers are up to date. Completly uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop (all old versions etc are nuked) Updated to latest Photoshop (23.2.1) This is what happens upon opening Photoshop for the first time after install: Open Photoshop Open existing PSD file. Print. Get warning that says "The saved printer information is an incompatible version. It has been set to default values" Press OK. Get second warning that says: "The saved printer information is an incompatible version is not compatible with this version of Photoshop, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing." Press OK. Get to the Photoshop Print Settings Dialog and make the correct changes, print, save and be happy. No
Clicking the font dropdown arrow in Options bar or Character panel with no document window open crashes Photoshop 26.2. Confirmed on both Windows 10 Pro and MacOS Sequoia 15.2 Intel. Have not tested on Apple Silicon. I have sent crash reports from both computers. Font menu displays normally with a document window open.
Hello, I am trying to create a Gif from an exported png sequence on After effects to Photoshop to create a GIF. When I checked the box titled "Image sequence" in photoshop, it only uploads 1 frame and not the sequence of images in the folder to create and then export a GIF. I have updated to the 2025 version of Photoshop.
Hello Community,I want to share some of the issues I have been confronted with, and I hope for someone or Adobe to clarify or bring some fixes to this.It all started with the Scrubby Zoom functionality breaking on any documents, except the first one open. It happened mostly while using Photoshop on my laptop display, but not when using my external monitor.To investigate, I got the latest Driver update from Nvidia via the Nvidia RTX Experience app, which offers another driver. But then things got even more complicated.The behaviour is that Photoshop randomly recognizes my GPU, when it does not, it asks me to install a new driver. When I get the one from the Nvidia app, it bugs completely and does not recognize my GPU at all. I have uninstalled and switched between different drivers, and Photoshop versions (v25.11 and v25..9.1). But no clear patterns of a bug seem to emerge. I suspect a conflict between my discrete GPU and Intel graphic, but this is hard to pinpoint. There is a
I recently upgraded to MacOS Sequoia 15.0 on my MacBook Pro M2 and after selecting Rosetta (within Get Info) in the Photoshop 25.12 application, I was unable to open the Extension and I received the following message:
Have just updated to Photoshop 2024 and my save to web panel is now not displaying correctly - see screengrab. How can I adjust it to have the full image fill the four windows? cheers, Bob
For the last week or two Adobe has been popping up ads to "upgrade my plan" in Photoshop. (Seriously guys? I already pay for this software, there are cheaper and/or free alternatives coming out every day, and you're spamming us to suck more money? You think this is a good idea?) There is a "stop for seven days" check box (hidden, that you have to scroll down to see), but no option for "[removed by moderator]" How do I stop these? Or, rather, I should say, is there a way to stop these other than dumping my Adobe subscription altogether, which is what it seems Adobe is trying to get me to do? {Title updated to address current messaging}
