Dear [Adobe Support/IT Team],I am encountering an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where the video displayed in the Program Monitor does not match the video in the Source Monitor during comparison. This discrepancy makes it difficult to validate edits accurately.Details:Application: Adobe Premiere ProIssue: Program Monitor and Source Monitor are not displaying the same video frames or quality.Steps to reproduce:Load the video in the Source Monitor.Compare with the timeline playback in the Program Monitor.Notice the mismatch in frames/quality.System details: [OS version, Premiere Pro version, GPU, RAM].Please advise on troubleshooting steps or provide a solution to resolve this issue. Let me know if you need additional information or screenshots.Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Dhevash. R
I believe this is a bug, but maybe I'm missing something. I made rolling credits and they look good. I went to add images to roll up with the credits (by clicking on New Layer->From File) and they worked, but when I added a video clip layer in rolling credits, it only shows the video as a still image. I want the video clip to play while the credits roll and stay in line with the names -- right next to them from the bottom to the top of the screen. How come I can add video clips but they do not play? btw, I have googled this for hours and can't find anything... Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 version 25.6.2 Thanks!
Instead of letting me work faster, each new version of Premiere slows me down. Previous version was bad, but it's worse now.Sometimes it doesn't react. When I click on the buttons, or move the cursor the graphic feedback is there but the action is not performed. It's delayed a lot. The playback takes minutes to begin after I hit PLAY, and minutes to stop when I hit STOP, even when I switch to other apps, it keeps on playing in the background until I close the app.If I wait long enough to see it work, it's fine for a while, but if I hide a track it becomes unresponsive again when I try to play. And the same when I show the track again.I hide and show tracks all the time while editing, so this makes any simple edit ridiculously long.I have a 1920x1080 timeline with two video tracks active (one 1920x1080 and one 3840x2160), about 80 minutes long, with total of 3 audio tracks. A very simple project. I'm using Quicktime prores 422 LT proxies at 1/2 resolution, but it really doesn'
Dear community,Thank you in advance for any guidance you may have. I am having a terrible time with Warp Stabilizer on my new computer build. The issue is specifically with a project that has about 1,500 sub clips, 860 sequences containing 1 subclip, many of which have a stabilization effect on it. I have no problem stabilizing these images on my older computer build. On the new build (specs below), many of the warp stabilized images are jumping or skipping frames; the image will go forward and then jot backwards. Other keywords: glitch, jitter, skip. The issue is rarely the same: If I find a glitch on a clip, and then go back 10 frames and replay, it will not glitch the same way.Stabilization SettingsI am not using any subspace warp - all position and scale, and my percentages for stabilization are low. I have attached a screenshot of my stabilization settings, but here they are again: Parameter Value Motion Position960.0, 540.0Scale118.0Scale Width100.0U
When working in new versions of Premiere, noticed very annoying bug. I need to shorten clip by dragging one of it's border in timeline, or to move all the clips with Track select forward tool. But suddenly I try to do this, and clips freeze and don't move, don't shorten etc. On the third or fourth attempt, it works. That is, it doesn't always happen, but it happens very often, which forced me to roll back to version 25.5. Using MacOS ( Tahoe 26.1 (25B78) )The bug reproduces in Premiere versions 25.6.1 and 25.6.2.
I've recently encountered a technical issue importing 3K (HEVC) footage from my Osmo Pocket 3 into Premiere Pro. While I can view the footage on my desktop, when I try to import it to Premiere only the audio is visible in the bin, no video. It's not an issue with source patching (V1-3 are all highlighted). Rather, it's an issue with importing footage into a project bin. I've tried clearing the media cache and making sure Premiere Pro is updated, but I'm still having this issue. Any insights would be appreciated!
hi, I know this is a known issue, but it's still not fixed so here we go again - making a documentary, have a million photos, slap photos on timeline to skim thorugh them faster, but there is NO dupe detection on photos, so I cannot tell what i have used, or if some of the source folders have repeat media in them. Help/ stats - OSX 15.6.2 Sequoia, Intel Mac, running Ppro 25.6.2
The line that shows you where clips are being dragged to is missing. Pretty key for editing to know where clips are going.
Hello,I am having a frustrating problem when I am listing the footage all of a sudden, the audio will cut out but the clip still plays if I stop and start again it will play audio for a second then drop out again. I have cleaned out my cache in the Premier and cleaned up my computer and still this persists. The only thing that seems to help is if I “rendered in and out” but this then can take a long time to render depending on how long the project is.
Hello,I’m having an issue where my timeline will not stop playing. Sometimes it takes a few seconds, sometimes it takes minutes before it actually pauses. The problem seems to show up once I start applying effects, everything is smooth when it’s just the raw footage. It’s becoming unworkable and it’s driving me crazy. I’m honestly close to switching everything to Resolve.I’m on a high-end Windows machine with 96 GB of RAM, so I know it’s not the PC. Nvidia drivers are fully up to date.Things I’ve tried:Converting iPhone footage to CFR ProRes 422 LTUsing half-resolution proxiesLaunching without third-party pluginsResetting preferencesClearing/deleting cacheTurning Mercury Transmit on and offRendering all effectsIf I close and reopen Premiere, it works for a few minutes, and then the issue comes back.I also tried deleting certain effects to see if one of them was causing it, but it didn’t help. I have a lot of Constant Power transitions and zooms applied.
Premiere version: 25.6.3Macos 26.1 Are the following behaviors correct (video link)? 1. Source targetting multiple files with insert/overwrite commands (. ,) hotkeys does not work with multiple selections. Inserts of multiple files go into V1/A2 no matter what the source targetting is set to (V2/A2). Let's say you want to overwrite a whole bunch of b-roll files into V2/A2 and you source target those tracks; everything is still placed in V1/A1 (see video). 2. Link/Unlink multiple files (second part of video). If you lasso select mutliple clips in the Timeline and unlink them (Command+L), the multiple selections are unlinked together. However, the process does not work in reverse to relink multiple files at once, so they each have to be lasso selected indiviually to relink them. A pain when you have to relink multiple files at once (happens a lot with students that don't know what they are doing).3. Graphics workspace: Why don't th
In Premiere Pro, I can’t reliably play my clips in the Source Monitor. Some clips play normally, while others freeze or won’t play at all. Pulling them into the timeline or rendering previews doesn’t help. It’s definitely not a hardware issue — all components are compatible and the system is nowhere near full load. What’s strange is that clips using the same codec work sometimes and sometimes not.At this point it feels like Premiere Pro is pushing me toward DaVinci Resolve. It’s incredibly frustrating.
I am honestly ANGRY at Adobe right now. I am paying for Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, and all I get in return is constant crashes, freezes, random shutdowns, import bugs, export issues, and unstable performance. This is ridiculous for a software that charges a premium subscription. My PC is MORE than powerful enough — way above your requirements — yet Premiere Pro behaves like an unfinished beta product. I lose time, energy, and work because this software keeps breaking for no reason. This level of instability is unacceptable. It feels like Adobe doesn’t care about user experience or software stability anymore. Why am I paying for a “professional” tool that crashes more than free editors? Fix this NOW. I’m seriously frustrated and tired of dealing with issues that should NOT exist in a paid product.
I've been working in my Team Project on a seqeunce for a week. Clicking Publish from time to time. Then I needed to restart Premiere as it started to say that it can't save changes anymore (happens periodically). After restart, my sequence looked like I've never edited anything. Autosave history shows the sequence in the same state. I can see that the Team Project was changing (new files appearing, new nests I was creating for my sequence) but not the sequence.I tried to check on other machine and asked my colleagues to check on their end - same thing, looks like Save and Publish feature was ignoring the sequence I worked in.Premiere Pro 25.5.0 (Build 13)Mac M3, Mac Os 15.7.2
Summary of the problem:When using Sony FX3 XAVC-HS (HEVC 4:2:2 10-bit) footage, QuickTime .mov H.264 proxies (using .mov to maintain audio channel parity) show a noticeable contrast/luminance shift when proxy mode is toggled on/off. This only happens on Windows. Running the same test on macOS with the same version of Premiere Pro produces a perfect match between original and proxy.Steps to reproduce the bug:Import Sony FX3 XAVC-HS 4:2:2 10-bit .MP4 footage (XAVC-HS).Generate QuickTime H.264 proxies using standard ingest settings. Toggle proxy mode on/off in the Program Monitor. What should have happened?Original and proxy clips should look identical. Histogram and scopes should not change when proxies are enabled. What actually happened? On Windows, the proxy version appears slightly lower contrast. The histogram clearly shifts when switching between original and proxy. The issue remains even when the clip is manually interpreted as Rec.709 before proxy creation. The same workflow on m
Getting the error pop up saying my project file can't be opened because it was saved in a newer version of Premiere. It wasn't saved in a newer version as that's literally impossible. I'm using the latest version of Premiere. Have never used betas. I worked on this project file last week and it hasn't left my onboard hard drive. Premiere Pro 25.6.3MacBook Pro 2020 M1 MacOS Tahoe 26.1 I've been getting a lot of issues across all my adobe applications (photoshop, lightroom classic, after effects) since updating my MacOS. Media Encoder also seems to be a lot slower to render footage that I've worked with before
I'm talking about here, where it says 200. When I drag with the mouse, the numbers change, but it's like they're snapping back to where they were originally, so the changes all hover around the original value. This used to work correctly. The auto scale doesn't seem to take into account the actual velocity of the keyframe, so the scale is always way off where I need it to be, and I can no longer adjust it easily with the mouse like I used to be able to do.Premiere 25.6.2Windows 11 25H2
I'm trying to layer raw footage over my multicam sequence because I can't get the footage to not export as a proxy, so I've been syncing the raw footage with the parts in the multicam sequence that I need to not be proxies. I did that through syncing the sound together since the timecode wasn't working, but now the sync feature isn't working at all. I will run it and it will process but then nothing moves, aka it's still not synced correctly. I've tried changing which track it connects to, using mixdown, and nothing will work. What should happen is that the two clips will sync as I did for 2/3 for the sequence. Is this a bug or is there something I can do to fix this? Thank you in advance.
Datas from the DJI Mavic 4 Pro in slowmo 4 K in Videocodec-Typ: HEVC 10 bit and Bildgröße: 3840 x 2160Framerate: 50,00 are not working in Source monitor or Timeline. That is a joke. On PremierePro 24 everything wokrs. And again they make an AD for Davinci Resolve.... why i pay for this.....Tested on two devices, Hardware always chilled. It is a pure Software Issu by ADOBE
Basically, when trying to edit keyframes on a transition, anytime you click away from the keyframe entry in the effects tab, it returns you to the clip controls as opposed to the transition controls. Even when you try to scroll on the effect tab/keyframe playhead, it bumps you out immediately. Quite frustrating, and makes it impossible.
When I attempt to 'Search' during an initial 'link media' for a handed-off project, it starts searching on a different drive entirely, then from the root of my computer, instead of in the folder I'm asking it to search in. Takes forever, so I wind up having to manually click on every file. Once I find a file within a certain folder it will automatically link any others in that folder, but I have to redo this with every single project. What is SHOULD do is just search within the folder I'm selecting. I click on 'link media', the media browser pulls up, I click on the clip name and click 'locate'. No matter which folder I select for it to start looking in (the actual folder the clip is in, the one above it, the one above that, etc), the search always starts elsewhere as if it's looking through every single file on my computer. I have noticed this for a while (prior to the version I'm on now), but this is the first I'm officially complaining about it. I'm on Version 25.3.0 (Buil
Mac OS. After working in with other versions of 25 for the past 6+ months, I recently began using 25.62 and have encountered a scenario where I'm flooded with erroneous duplicate project ID warnings about 4 or 5 projects in the production that I know for certain have no duplicates, and never got flagged in previous versions of 25. I'm talking like a warning every 2 seconds, filling up the events window. If I quit and reopen premiere, that bug may go away. Or it may not. Never seen this one before. Can't share the actual production or project files due to confidentiality unfortunately,
I've never experienced this before, but my Premiere is refusing to let me edit any subtitles in the program monitor whilst the subtitles are 'captions' (not graphics yet and not just in the transcript). Editing in the 'Transcript' section also does nothing which is very frustrating. As for the Captions section in the Text panel, it's letting me edit but Captions is so chaotic to use anyway so I can't use that method. My Premiere is up to date (25.6.2) and I'm on an Apple M3 Max, 48GB, using Sequoia 15.3.2 Most of my work requires me to edit subtitles so this is getting very frustrating.
I recently updated Premiere Pro to 25.6.2 and since then I can't export because PPro and Media encoder think my medias are offline. I tried to export previous project I did last week and this doesn't work eithier even tho it worked last week. It gives me the same error in media encoder ( in french, here is the translation ''offline media detected and will be encoded using the offline media graphic'' ) Here are the steps and solutions I tried in order :- creating a new project and importing media;- unlinked and then linked the media;- changed media to a different folder and then linked;- deleted ppro, media encoder and mac cache;- restarted my mac;- rolled back ppro to the previous update;- opened a privious project that I successfuly exported last week and now it says offline media;- updated mac to Sequoia 15.7.2 from 15.5.something;- renaming media and linking it.when I work on my timeline the medias load properly and can playback the video without any problems. Also when I look in t
