Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a serious stability issue with Premiere Pro 25.3 on the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CP (running Windows 11, BIOS .302) I just bought. The issue begins whenever I try to resize any panel in the workspace. Right after that, the entire system becomes extremely laggy and unresponsive, followed by a temporary black screen, as if the GPU drivers are resetting. If somehow I manage to close Premiere its process remains active in the background and cannot be terminated via Task Manager unless I force a restart.Before the issue appears, I’ve also noticed that switching between workspaces (e.g., Editing to Color) causes the interface to refresh quite slowly. Panels load in a staggered way, flickering or appearing one after the other, as if the system is struggling to render them in real time.I’ve already run Cinebench and FurMark stress tests without any thermal throttling or major performance issues, and I’m using the laptop in Performance mode through Armoury Crate.

I didn’t add any extra language, but Premiere Pro automatically adds another language when I open the app.After I delete it, the language comes back again.My Windows system language is not English, but I want Premiere Pro to use English only.I can’t control or stop it from changing the language automatically.Default install language is english but still same,it give me other language...

デフォルトの設定の通り、スペースキーに再生/停止を割り当てています。サブタイトルのテキストを編集するため、プログラムモニター上でテキストボックスを選択し、テキストツールに切り替えてスペースキーを入力すると、文字が入力されるだけではなくシーケンスの再生まで始まってしまいます。 昨日Windows10から11にアップデートした際、Premiereを最新バージョンに変更してからこのバグが起こるようになりました。キーボードショートカットの位置は変えたくないので、別の対処法を教えてください。

I'm running the latest version of Premiere Pro and trying to work with some footage shot on a Canon C70. When I import these .mov files, which are 4k video, they only show up as audio files. I assume this is some kind of codec issue. Is there a plugin necessary to make the files work? I'm on a 2019 iMac running OS 11.5.2

Hi all, I've been using a premiere pro extension I've made through a local python server (server.py). The py file also has all the extend script code (using pymiere package, eval_script). I decided to push the server to heroku, and move the eval_script to main.js (which will remain local). But I can't get csInterface.evalScript to work. It keeps through EvalScript error. So I tried a basic script. Literally, 1+4. Issue – When attempting to attach proxy video files from a mounted network drive, the ‘attach’ button takes the user right back to the root level of the PC (like ‘My PC’), showing all drives, and fails to follow the same file path as the original file location. This occurs with the proxy video files named correctly (e.g. filename_Proxy) and stored in a ‘Proxies’ folder right alongside the original full-resolution clip. This has only occured since I moved my workflow from a thunderbolt RAID array to a large Synology NAS device (which is properly mapped as a drive in windows). When all files are stored on standard desktop drives, the attach button follows the file path with no problems.Steps to reproduce – 1. Store the original video file and the proxy video version on a mapped network drive, with the correct naming scheme and folder structure. 2. Import the original video file into Premiere Pro. 3. Attempt to ‘attach proxies’ and watch as Premiere falls back to the root of the computer

I am on an iMac i9 (2020) Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16GB, 64GB of RAM, 2TB SSD, and MacOS Sequoia 15.7.1 running Premiere Pro 25.5.0.On this project I am working on, I am in the Text Panel under the Transcript tab and making corrects. Often the corrections fail to show, so when I edit the text, and press "Tab" on my keyboard (or click away off the panel), the edits I made disappear and it shows how the text looked originally. To fix this, I have to close and re-open the project, which is very annoying, and then it works like as expected.Usually before this happens I have been editing the sequence (removing small moments and such) and thus could be related to that. Seems to work fine if editing the text is the first thing I do once I reload the project.

The video file has perfectly correct sounds when watching it in any video player, however when I import it into premire pro the sound is desynced

Hey everyone, I've been running into an issue where shortcut keys are being triggered while I'm typing text in Premiere Pro.For example, when typing on a text layer: Instead of just typing, certain keys act like I'm hitting a keyboard shortcut (like “C” switching to the Razor tool or “V” switching to the Selection tool), even though my cursor is clearly inside a text field. Premiere Pro version: 25.3 OS: MacOS 15 Sequoia What I’ve tried: Restarting Premiere Resetting preferences Has anyone else experienced this? Any known fixes or workarounds? Thanks in advance!

Videos failed to render in media encoder (same thing happens when trying in premiere). According to my logs, this first started happening in February. This time, it happened on 3 different renders, using two seperate video files. I swear I reported this bug before. Of course it's not fixed. Here is exactly what media encoder says." - Preset Used:- Video: 3840x2160 (1.0), 29.97 fps, Progressive, Rec. 709, 203 (75% HLG, 58% PQ), Hardware Encoding, Nvidia Codec, 00:25:02:17- Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo- Bitrate: VBR, 1 pass, Target 35.00 Mbps- Encoding Time: 00:10:1310/19/2025 03:12:36 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Error retrieving frame 82549 at time 06;50;29;12 from the file: E:\Temp\Tyler Smith\RAW\MVI_9710.MP4, substituting frame 82548"  The workaround for this was just chop about 20 frames off and render in premiere, not encoder. Bilde hakker og lyd forsvinner ved gjennomsyn. Dette gjelder i begge vinduer selv om oppløsning reduserers.  Premiere Pro reagerer ikke eller svært forsinket på kommandoer fra tastaturet. Jeg bruker en kraftig workstation fra 2019 som er bygd for videoredigering.

Bonjour, je rencontre un problème très gaacant dont je ne trouve la solution. Je suis sur Adobe Premiere PRO 2025, sur macstudio 2022 - système SONOMA 14.7.5 Dnas ma timeline, lorsque je déplace une image clé (OPACITÉ par exemple) , celle-ci ne se fixe pas là où je déplace mon curseur, mais un peu avant ou après (ou au-dessous / au-dessous), parfois très loin, forcée par un magnétisme que je ne parviens à désactiver.  Une idée pour résoudre ce probleme ? J'ai tenté de décocher les options "magnétisme" dans le menu de la fenetre "Options d'effet", sans résultat. MERCI !!! 

When switching from one custom workspace without Audio Mixer window to another with Audio Mixer window, the Audio Mixer window remains empty, even though a sequence is open. Only when this sequence is reloaded from the Project window does it appear in the Audio Mixer window. We're using the latest Premiere version 25.5. This worked fine in version 24.x. OS= Win11 Pro , Version 24H2

While editing with ripple cut on pp timeline 4k video it always stucks and try to update thumbnails in real time and when I press play it lag for 3-6 seconds while updating new thumbnails on timeline that I have just cut.the same footage plays well found the same editing in davinci and Final Cut 

Hello,I have problems when trying to duplicate or copy/paste a sequence in the project window. It takes up to 5 minutes for the window to appear after right clicking. Then another 5 minutes after clicking „duplicate“. Same when using shortcuts cmd c/v. Working in the timeline seems to be ok, sometimes a bit laggy.I didn’t have the problem when starting the project. I started editing in shorter sequences and then adding them  for a 30 minutes film and its that master timeline that takes forever or crashes when duplicating.Footage is from a Sony FX9 in 4k 50p Sony FX2 50p and GoPros 50p but im editing in a 1080p timeline. What I’ve tried so far:Deleting media cache, Resetting workspace, copying into new project (what caused a crash, so I couldn’t really finish that attempt)I’m using the latest Premiere Pro 25.5. on MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1.(updated to MacOS Sequoia 15.7.1 today but haven’t worked on that yet)System is a Mac Studio M4 Max 64GB 16C CPU 40C GPU Thank you for your

Hello,I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with Premiere Pro after the latest update. After about five minutes of use, the timeline playback completely freezes. I can still click around the interface and open menus, but the playback controls and scrub bar are unresponsive. After a short period of this, the application eventually crashes.I've already tried several troubleshooting steps, including:Restarting the application and my computer.Clearing the media cache.Updating my graphics drivers (which is managed by macOS).Checking for any known issues on the Adobe Help Center.I know the M1 chip's hardware acceleration is very efficient, but it seems something in this new update is causing a conflict.Has anyone else with a similar setup experienced this? Issue - At the beginning and end of the inserted videos, 1-2 frames began to disappear. This didn't happen before. This happens even with videos recorded several years ago (with I worked before and they were perfectly fine). Two videos that should play seamlessly as one now lose several frames at the point where they join, creating a visible gap between them.Steps to reproduce - I'm creating a new project. I add two videos recorded with NVIDIA Overlay then drag them to the timeline.Actual result - They should play as one continuous video. (with videos recorded from OBS the same)(I completely reinstalled Windows 11 and reinstalled Premiere Pro. I didn't change anything, all the settings were default. And there were still frame drops. Hi there,   Has there been a way to get OpenSSL to be updated?We have been advised of a vulnerability as the OpenSSL files are not atleast version 3.0.16.The OpenSSL files in question:c:\program files\adobe\adobe premiere pro 2025\libcrypto-3-x64.dllc:\program files\adobe\adobe premiere pro 2025\libssl-3-x64.dll   Both are still 3.0.14.   We have updated to the latest version of Premiere Pro.

For some unknown reason, the 'Label' metadisplay appears 12 times in my Project window and cannot be turned off. I've unchecked it in the metadisplay option, but it turns back on automatically. I've tried setting a new scheme. I've tried turning off 'Premiere Pro Project Metadata' completely. In some projects, it doesn't appear 12 times. In some there are only 3 or 4 of them. In one project, the "Name" metadisplay appears 4 times. There is no rhyme or reason that I can find. Nothing gets rid of it and I found no one else on this forum with this issue. Thoughts? 

It is neccessary to manually alter the language for Transcriptions every time when attempting to transcribe a sequence. Within Media Analysis & Transcrption Settings language is set to English (UK)Select a sequence with Voice included and choose Transcribe from the Text panelExpand the view from the 'Generate static transcript'Language set as incorrect English When attempting to transcribe source media, on the other hand, the correct set language (English UK) is selected.  Additionally, after opening the 'Create transcription for source media', if you cancel this view, select the sequence and then choose to Transcribe, the language is now selected as English (UK). If you subsequently create a transcript with the chosen language, English (UK), close Premiere Pro and re-open it, attempting to re-transcribe the sequence is back as the incorrect English again. The same occurs when attempting to use the Auto Language option.  OS Locale is only obeyed when a

Hello - I've just built a new PC for the purpose of learning video editing with Premiere Pro & After Effects. So far, I've downloaded PP and started a new project with the default settings enabled and dragged some image files into the timeline. The playback was fine until I dragged the turbulent displacement effect onto one of the files - the preview window glitched out during playback and then everything went black. Tried restarting the program but everything is still blacked out. Under Project Settings > General > Renderer there are only 2 options (CUDA) and (OpenCL). Neither one seems to solve the issue... I am having an issue that I encountered while prepping a premier timeline for a professional mix.I have been editing using camera audio from my proxy files. When I want to bring in the full production audio to match my timeline, the timecodes on the production .wavs are all shifting by the same amount. The production audio has baked in timecodes, and so I have no idea where the shift is coming from.What makes me believe this is a bug is that when I try to manually modify the timecodes, I am seeing the correct timecode. If I shift the "orininal timecode" by a frame, the false timecode will mirror the shift in the same direction.
