I'm visually handicaped; go figure, and while I can manage graphics, I have a hard time withgrey text. In this case I can't see the devide between tracks. Generally I defailt to "Dark Mode": White on. I would sell my soul for a White text option. Can anyone suggest a work around for this problem?
So, when I go to consolidate & transcode a sequence why does PP insist on transcoding and copying every proxy file the project has created (in their entirety) regardless of wether it was used in the sequence? I would almost understand copying the proxies that are used in the sequence - although there should be a checkbox for that option. And I could (almost) forgive those proxies being copied completely rather than just handles (maybe the code to consolidate proxies and still keep them synced is too hard to manage) But everything? EVERY SINGLE PROXY FILE? That clearly is a major bug. And it's not just related to this project. It has been happening since I started working with Premiere on multiple projects all year.
Cross dissolve seems to stop the insert edit function going from sequence to sequence Steps I've taken:1. Put sequence into source monitor 2. Click the wrench icon and open sequence in timeline 3. Open another timeline and place it below the source timeline 4. Select my in and out points 5. Attempt to insert that section by using the commands , or . 6. Nothing happens 7. If the option for it being nested is on, then it works, un-nested doesn't 8. Remove disolves from source timeline 9. It now works What I wanted it to do: Transfer all footage from 'source' timeline, to new timeline, un-nested with all videos and audio seperate What it did: Would not copy unless all dissolves had been removed Prem version: 25.2.3Computer: Mac Studio 2022 Apple M1 Max64gbOS: Ventura 13.1
Hi, i am hoping this is the correct place to post this... Premier Pro version 25.2.1 build 2 i just started experiencing this issue when i am picking back up a project to work on and i have been working on it just fine....i opened up the project and it spikes my CPU temp to threshold lvls and crashes the application......its happening everytime when i even start a new project and import media.... my main OS drive is an NVME where i have Premier Installed. I have my media on a separate SSD and i even have Media Caching on a separate SSD. I dont understand why this is happening.... I dont get an error, it freezers the application and shuts off and i see my Rog RYUJIN III Fan displaying CPU Temp either 85 or 90....when i reopen Premier Pro it just says it crashed unexpectedly earlier and reopen last open file.... I also have an RTX 4090. Any help would be appreciateed.
Whenever I enable the trim tool on a clip in the timeline, Premiere pauses for a few seconds with the beach ball spinning. I've reset the preferences, rebuilt the cache (which is set locally), nothing's worked. Everything else is super snappy - any thoughts?OS 15.6.1, Mac Studio M2 Ultra, 62GB RAM, Premiere 25.2.3, Using Productions on Lucid Link
Hi! I'm wondering if anyone would have any insight as to what could be causing issues for me in my Adobe products, I've tried multiple versions and it just seems so clunky, I've tried it on multiple PC's too, it just feels very laggy, slow to scrub through footage (even Proxies at 1/4 quality seem to perform with no difference to the base files, which is making me wonder if it's an issue in settigns or files, which is why I've tried different versions, lean installs the works. My Specs are; Windows 11AMD Ryzen 9 9950XRTX 409096GB DDR5 (2x48GB)Samsung 990 Pro NVME SSD (multiple drives, one has my OS, files and Programs, and I have a separate one for the Media Cache as I thought that would help too, but it made no difference, or if anything made it lag and stutter more). It seems even very simple tastks are causing lag, such as yesterday in a Dyanmic Link, I made a circle in a separate pre-comp and that lagged in of itself, any other questions, please let
We've got a live one!Premiere Pro v25.3.0, working in a Productions environment. MacOS Ventura 13.7.x for all parties affected. My editorial team loves their templates. Can't live without them. Here's our standard workflow, which used to work as desired in Premiere 24.6.x (latest LTS release, as of July 23, 2025):Create Template Project containing the desired folder structures and template sequences for edit preparation.- Let's call our example "parent" sequence: "Template-Sequence".Save Template Project, and begin "Make a Copy" ops in the production to build out clones of this template for each necessary prep, avoiding Duplicate IDs. As is tradition. While prepping, rename sequences in the new "Copy-of-Template" projects for team sanity and morale.- My renamed sequences will be called "Sequence_A", "Sequence_B", etc.- Note that I'm not copying the origin sequence, just renaming the sequence in my copied Project.- It's quite possible that the child-Sequences now have
my preview suddenly shows blank (black) while im doing my edits. whats going on? im editing my adjustment layer above my footage, all of the sudden, it shows blank on my preview. when i try to double clock any of my footage, whether its on my project tab or my timeline, it also shows blank. yesterday everything was perfectly fine. but suddenly it happened today. the previous solution was to reinstall the premiere. it worked, but only for like 30 minutes. and then it happened again, and now i dont know what to do. should i reinstall everytime? :)))))))
As a timeline gets more complicated copy/pasting clip audio levels stops working. What's weird is that for some clips it will work fine, but for others it won't. At the same time adjusting a clip's audio level with the clip mixer will not change the horizontal level line in the timeline, (although the level will change). You can still adjust the levels by moving the line vertically, but this then doesn't drive the audio mixer. Again, this is completely random - some clips will be affected, but some will not. For instance I've got a timeline where audio on tracks 1-3 work as expected, but on tracks 4 and above it does not. Rolling back to v24 fixes the problem. This has been seen by a few of us working on Apple Silicon computers. Happy to share a project, although I can't do that publically.
Hi, I'm experiencing an annoying bug.If I have an adjustment layer on v4, with a transform effect applied and the position and scale properties keyframed, affecting the media on tracks v1-v3. Modifying the properties of a clip on v5 will cause the adjustemnent layer to jump position as if the transform effect is not applied.Easier to see in action, video attached.Any fixes for this? Have tried deleting the cache. Premiere 25.1.0, Mac OS 13.7.6
Hi! I'm sort of repairing a a sequence wronlgy made with proxies with embeded audio and replacing its items with proper multicam sequences with synced audio. I've discovered that, when using the «replace footage» function (alt + shift + drop) Premiere actually doesn't use the timecode to replace the clip, but the relative amount of frames from the start timecode to the selection of the original clip applied to the multicam sequence. Since some multicam sequences have prior audio synced, the replacement goes absolutely wrong. I think this process should strictly use timecode to replace footage. How can I solve it? What am I doing wrong?
I've been Googling this all day and can't find an answer – what do I do about the (terrible) playback lag when there are multicam clips (or a multicam sequence) in both the timeline and the source monitor? As soon as I clear the source monitor the lag goes away – but how else can I cut with them? I'm on a M4 MacBookPro, 32 GB of RAM, using Premiere Pro 25.0 (downgraded from 25.5 to see if it made any difference - it did not).
When I work with MXF files (Codec AVC-Long) from my FX6 camera, after 30 or more minutes, Premiere Pro crashes, and as soon as I reopen it, it crashes almost every time after 2-3 minutes. It's not even 4k, just FullHD. Of course, creating proxies helps, but it should not behave that way. We are a company and this affects all our PCs, but on Mac, everything is fine. And weirdly, there are no crash logs under:C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe\Premiere Pro\24.0\SentryIO-db\reports Premiere Pro: 24.6.4Windows 11 ProGraphic card: NVIDIA Quadro P4000Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10940X CPU @ 3.30GHzInstalled RAM: 32,0 GB The file info can be found in the attached file.If you have any ideas, any help is appreciated.Thank you,TeleBielingue
The only footage showing up almost immediately are the ones ive used in the timeline so far. As for the rest of it, it takes close to 30 minutes to show up. The footage has never been unlinked or moved folders or anything like that. It seems since I updated to the latest premiere with the generative extend, it has not been working as efficiently as it used to.
Description:After updating to Premiere Pro v25.5, all footage shot with my DJI drone (video only, no audio) started playing back at extremely low FPS.The issue affects both preview playback and final exports. The footage itself was recorded at 29.95 fps or 59.95 fps.The same files play smoothly outside of Premiere Pro.Prior to updating, everything worked without issues. All my DJI drone footage, including audio, played well at both 29.95 fps and 59.95 fps. Steps to Reproduce:Import footage with video only, no audio, into Premiere Pro v25.5.Attempt playback in the timeline or preview. Export the footage. Expected Result:Footage should play back and export smoothly. Actual Result:Playback and export are both extremely choppy, with very low FPS. Workaround:Downgrading to Premiere Pro v25.4.1 resolves the issue. As I didn't find an answer online, I hope this workaround helps others save time and energy until this bug is fixed.Cheers!
PP 2024 24.4.1 Build 2Ryzen 9 5950x RTX 3090Ti128GB DDR48TB Crucial NVME Hard Drive For the last few days this project has been giving me some grief. Here's the issue. 3840 x 2160 Timeline, Hardware Encoding to H.264. No problem. I add in a few transitions that are using the following effects: - Transform- Replicate- MirrorThese transitions mimic the effect of "swiping" which is useful for my project. Now, every time I turn on Hardware encoding, the entire project will not display ANY preview files or ANY video in any of the windows, the Source Panel nor the Program Window, neither playing nor paused. When paused, the video will briefly display on my third monitor (using fullscreen playback). This is the only way I can see the project with CUDA enabled. Originally when I was exporting the file, with Hardware Encoding on -- it would give me the error: h.264 error rendering video: Export ErrorError completing render.Writing with exporter: H.2
Premiere Pro does not reliably retain the expanded/collapsed state of bins (folders) in the Project panel when switching between workspaces, especially in the “Assembly” workspace with List View. This behavior is inconsistent and causes repeated friction when working with deeply nested project structures. Steps to Reproduce: Open Premiere Pro and switch to the Assembly workspace. In the Project panel (set to List View), create or open several folders nested 3–5 levels deep.Manually expand multiple bins to drill down to specific assets.Switch to another workspace (e.g. Editing or Color).Switch back to the Assembly workspace. Expected ResultEspecially if it's during the same session (not closing and reopenign the project), my expectation is that the bins would "remember" or preserve their opened, twirled down state. When working across different phases of a large post-produciton project, it creats a tremendous amount of friction to continually renavigate detailed and organi
Meu premiere não está abrindo, aparece está mensagem e não abre, trabalho com isso e estou atrasado pois não consigo resolver, alguém pode me ajudar por favor!
Hey, experiencing an issue with the Audio Track Mixer's pop out box for showing/hiding tracks. here is a video. I expect to select a track and uncheck the checkbox but when I click on it, it won't uncheck. but it will uncheck if I try and check, or even select another track. So in order for me to hide tracks, I need to do it 1 at a time by selecting the track I need to uncheck and then selecting on a track that I want to keep, so that way it will uncheck the previously selected track. If that makes sense.. you'll understand when you watch the video 😂 OS: Windows 11 Home (version: 10.0.25100 build 26100)Hardware: Intel 13900k, RTX 4090, 64GB RAMPP version: 25.5.0 (build 13)
Hello all, I am having a weir glitch since upgrading to 2025. Version 25.512th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12950HX 2.30 GHz64gb RAMWindows 11 Enterprise 23H2On clips where I applied Enhance Speech, during playback, the audio from the entire timeline will randomly cut off at a certain point, and will cut off at the same point every time I try to playback.Only fix for now is to restart. I also encountered glitches where, still on clips where Enhace Speech is applied, you can hear kind of a "ghost" audio of the previous clip during playback.
Lately editing a multicam timeline using keyboard shortcuts has become annoying for the reasons listed below: 1. The Up and Down arrow keys (shortcut to the next/previous edit) only work sometimes and often I need to click the mouse above the timeline to get them working again, or click multiple times.2. Selecting a clip and clicking delete will ignore the clip you selected and delete the clip in front of the playhead. Not always but a lot of the time. In general I would desribe the experience as clunky and annoying. I always liked speed editing with keyboard shortcuts but these days it feels like this feature has been sacrificed to make the software more user friendly to beginner editors. I have tried various settings to fix this so if anybody has a fix please let me know.
I've been dealing with this really annoying bug for years, and today it's driving me crazy - so i thought i'd ask if anyone else has run into it? Issue: When editing Multicam footage if I make an edit while the CTI is playing (like a Cut, Insert, or Overwrite), the Go To Next/Previous Edit Point commands stop controlling the timeline and instead start switching camera angles in the Program Monitor?! I've discovered this only happens if the Multi-Cam View is turned on. Each time it happens I have to nudge the CTI to return control to the Timeline. Really annoying. MacBook Pro M1 15.4.1 Pr 25.4.0
Hey everyone! Came across a problem while editing my YouTube Video, so when I use keyframes next to a clip that is either speed ramped or cut, and set to a different speed, the keyframes don't take effect. For me, this happened with a Lumetri color, invert, and brightness and contrast keyframe. Not sure if the effect type has anything to do with this but I think the clip speed does, because this happened around 3 or 4 times when I was editing. Even when I rendered it or closed and re opened premiere pro, it didn't fix. It only fixed when I nested the clip and then applied the effect. This problem is still very annoying and costed me time to figure out that I had to nest it. Before I was having to make and adjustment layer, and use cross dissolve for it to work. I also had a problem where my voice overs got wierd and sounded like it had reverb when it had a cut and was next to a sped up/ slowed down clip, nothing was able to fix this either, even in the ex
