This has been a problem for me for years. I make color edits in Premiere that I am happy with, and on export they are washed out, low sat, low contrast. I have read so many forums and posts about this issue. I have read the export plays differently in quicktime, on apple screens, on non apple screens. I have used the gamma correction lut, as well as other export luts people have tried making. All they seem to do is crush the blacks on the video, getting the color close to the timeline edit, but not the same. Is there a realistic solution to this? I have changed all settings in Premiere I can change. Attaching screen shots of what I am talking about, ordered from: Premiere Program window, export, and export with gamma correction LUT.
I know that this issue was discussed already in another thread, but since we still got no solution to it I thought I should open a new thread. The problem: As soon as I changed from PPro 24.6.3 to PPro 25.2.3 (Build 4) the "RX 11 Repair Assisstant" can't be used any longer because the user interface is cropped within a window. I can change the size of the window but that does not change the user interface of RX 11 - it stays cropped. In PPro 24.6.3 ist worked perfectly. I am on Windows 11. Any ideas?
I've recently updated from a 2019 iMac i9 to a 2023 Macbook Pro M3. I'm regretting my decision as it seems that Adobe products are not compatible with the M3 chip (despite being adverstised as so). EVERY PROJECT I create, from scratch, updated from 24-25, imported etc. does not work. The preview files are not processing and the timeline crashes every time I try to move the play head. I have checked through settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off any extensions, stopped the additional audio processing and still the app is unusable. Have trawled the forums, this seems to have been an issue since October 2024 with no response from Adobe. Is it now worth asking for money back and moving on? Or is there going to be an support offered?
Hi, Audio Meters in the timeline shows correct db range, but audio track mixer showing over gain audomatically.Even Clip Mixer is showing correct.I Tried installing another version, but still the same.help!Hardware :Mac Studio M2 Max - OS 14.4 SonomaPremiere Pro Ver 25.1.0 - Build 73
25.2.3 I have a clip, FilenameX.mp4 I replace with FilenameY.mp4 using the Replace Footage function. Footage updates across the project/timeline etc. Save the project. Send to a colleague. When they open it, it links back to FilenameX.mp4. This happens every time we open on a new machine. How to stop it from doing this? Working with dozens of replaced clips and it's very time consuming.
I keep running into this issue when working with Red Raw footage. I will apply warp stabilizer to the clip, then add my color grade onto an adjustment layer above the clips. When rendering + exporting, some if not most of the entire timeline comes out unscathed, but some sequences in this timeline get this terrible black screen thing going on and I have no idea why. I have tried all different combinations of solutions and yet the only solution is removing either the grade or warp stabilizer. Premier should be able to handle those two things together. I am running a 20220 Retina 5k iMac, 3.8 GHz 8-core intel core iZ, Radeon Pro 5700 16 GB and 64Gb of Ram, as well as 50% of my internal storage is free. I have been working with red footage for a few years now as well as doing the simple warp stabilizer and grading clips and only recently started having this issue and it has continued over multiple versions of Premier and Media Encoder.
I have had a clip that is problematic for a number of reasons. Imports with no sound despite there being sound so imported sound separately as a WAV. Merged them in the project window and now I can't set an in point. Can set an out point no problem. Am loading directly from the project window. Merged by setting an in point at the beginning of each clip. Using 24.6.5 (cannot update as I am on a campus and it is managed by IT). Not getting this problem with any other clips. Have had this before. I am playing it from the project window. Have tried clearing cache and reloading it. Something I'm doing wrong or yet another glitch to add to my list?
Issue: Premiere Pro keeps crashing after a couple of seconds (never goes above 1 minute) when I start video playback in any project I open. By looking online I have found that if I disable HVEC Hardware acceleration decoding, it stops crashing, but then video playback is extremely laggy (if it's not enabled) and skips around (audio goes through fine, but video is not good). When initialy testing laptop compatibility on the 24th of April, it worked fine and stable for multiple hours with HVEC Hardware acceleration decoding enabled I am in IT for a user and because of Policy I cannot use her account to create the bug report. I created a new one to post here. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open project2. wait for everything to load up3. Start video playback4. after 10-30 seconds it will get extremely choppy and then freeze and crash Sometimes it just crashes on it's own when it starts up. Expected result: Video playback continues to play video wi
Hi, We're currently having a major issue, where any .mov file shot on iPhone (15 Pro) can only be imported (and recognised) as an audio track. It's to be noted that any .mp4 or .mov file obtained via Adobe Stock is able to be added to the timeline without issue. Existing project files where .mov files were used are now in a 'media offline' state, and when forcing a re-link, convert themselves to an audio track only. We've attempted to reset the cache, and have tried different renderers to no avail. And it's worth mentioning that this issue has seeminly cropped up from nowhere; we've not ever had an issue using .mov footage from iPhone. Attached image shows .mov files only recognised as audio. Thanks 🙂
To Whom It May Concern,Hello! Hope you're doing well today. This all stems from the latest update. I am having the following issue:When I use up & down arrow keys (default function) to jump between my different clips within a given timeline... It is then fully poreventing me from using the back (Left) arrow key to go the very last frame of the clip immediately before it. Never had an issue with it before today's update. So, once more, I use DOWN arrow to jump forward through the timeline & then try to jog it back by one frame and it will not navigate back to the previous clip as it has always done in the past. Do you have suggestions? Thank you for your time.
I posted this issue earlier and it got merged by an Adobe mod into a topic that was not the same issue that I'm experiencing, so I'm asking that this not be merged again (unless the specific issue is really out there, but I haven't seen it upon conducting numerous searches), and then I'm going to give more of the granular specifics here, as well. I'm in Premiere Pro 25.2.3.running OSX Sonoma 14.4.1on a 2023 M2 Ultra Mac Studio w/64GB MemoryHere's a screenshot of my sequence settings: And the issue is that there is a significant degradation in the quality of still images that I am using in the timeline, when comparing what I see in the Program window (or in fullscreen mode) during normal playback vs what the image looks like in the final video clip upon export. Attached are the expected, better image (a screenshot of the Prorgam window in Premiere), and a frame of the exported, degraded image (from my h264 output). This is not the first time I have encountered this proble
Description: I'm part of a team of editors working on a LucidLink hosted project - all media and project files live there. I requested that each editor set their Auto Save location to a local drive so as to avoid a single point of failure, but everyone's Auto Save destinations are constantly reset to lie inside the root level of the Production. Why is this a problem: 1) It's messy and unexpected. 2) It causes uneccessary traffic to and from the cloud filespace, which reduces streaming bandwidth. 3) Causes a single point of failure. If our editors lose their internet connection, they not only lose their media, but their auto saved projects. We do have automatic local backups of course but the autosave setting should not get changed. To reproduce the problem:1. Create a Production in a shared storage environment, in this case LucidLink2. Set Auto Save destination to a local drive in Production > Scratch Disk Settings.3. Quit and re
Whenever I export my video, it has these odd visual glitches and I don't understand why. The sequences match, my driver's up to date and nothing's wrong with my GPU, I checked the original footage and there's no problems there -- it's only after I export that these glitches appear. It makes it look like there's almost a vintage filter over it (there isn't). The glitches move around as the video plays and in the pictures provided the first example is a before and after and the second picture is another example, where you can see the streaky white marks and then a few smaller pixelated glitches. Included in the pictures are my export settings. I don't know if the camera footage is incompatible -- the footage is 4k and meant for youtube (not cinama) and recorded on a Nikon Z50II if that's of any help. I also recorded another video on the camera and tested it in a completely new project to see if the project before was corrupt, but even in this new project, the glitchy results were th
The initial screen with projects Premier 2025 (25.0.0) mac os disappeared. I found a message on the forum that you can fix it in the folder (/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/extensions) rename the folder ~UXPWhen I went to the folder /Library/Application Support/AdobeThere is no folder UXP/extensionsI created it again. This did not help me.Tell me how to fix this problem?

I've had this happen to me twice now. Audio tracks are completely disapearing/being deleted from my timeline. I don't just mean I can hear the audio and not see it, I mean like completely disapearing entirely. It can't be a saving issue because I have saved, closed, and reopened with these audios still attatched and well.It also can't be an issue with me moving audio files because I haven't moved them. This is incredibly annoying to work with and almost impossible to add audio to my project when it just keeps getting randomly deleted. please help!!
Hello, I'm working in a Production. I have all Scratch Disks set to "Same as Production". But instead the scratch files keep saving to the same folder as each individual Project that I'm working in, and as a result, they are appearing inside the Production. Very annoying. Any suggestions? Thank you!
I have a couple of projects that crash every time I try to opne them. I have moved the files to a new drive and it gets stuck halfway when relinking. I have tried all of the things, deleting cache, preferences, reverting versions. Nothing seems to help. I'm so frustrated with this app, it's making editing impossible. 2019 Mac Pro3.2 GHz 16-Core Intel Xeon WAMD Radeon Pro W5700X 16 GB112 GB 2933 MHz DDR4
Hi everyone,I'm having a serious issue with Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. Every time I use it, my PC randomly shuts down without warning. No error message, no freezing—just a full shutdown as if the power was cut.My system specs:64GB RAMIntel high-end CPU i7RTX graphics cardPlenty of storage and proper coolingI've checked temps, drivers, and power supply—everything seems normal. No issues with other software or earlier Premiere versions. It only happens with Premiere Pro 2025.Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on what might be causing it?Thanks in advance for your help!
I am using a PC. Is there a known issue on PC and Premiere Pro?The problem doesn't seem to be the same on Mac.The timeline jumps and stop, the audio doesn't start right away, it's not in sync between the Program sequence at the top and the sequence at the bottom where the timeline is.I did a bunch of update to make sure it wasn't my computer the problem but I cannot find anything. To be clear the timeline doesn't follow the speed or the flow of the audio and video. It goes forward a little, then stops then jump to where it should be, then stops again...Anyone had the same problem?
Either to the begining or the end. 90% of the time when i make a cut, 20% just when it's randomly playingIt's ruining my workflow
Hey guys, just have a little question to ask. It has not even been 1 week since i have bought this PC. I spend around $10,000 AUD on this pc.GPU:RTX 5080CPU: Core Ultra 9 285kRAM: 128gb I spend a lot of money on this PC hoping this will give me the best editing exprience ever, but sadly it is not living up to how i was hoping for. See before this i was using a M4 Pro MAX macbook and it was running everything that i threw at it. No matter what it was. Now i know some of you migth ask me wheather if my play resloution is too high? But like come on, the Mac book was running all the videos on 4k even log footage on full quality and had no issues what so ever. So why cant this windows one do the same when its a desktop and has double the power??? Before people go asking me, YES i have updated everything that i could, YES i have done a hardware reset and installed all the drivers and YES i have fixed up all my gpu settings making sure its well optimised. I dont know
This is a strange one I've never seen in my nearly 20 years of editing. When I received a batch of footage with sync timelines, I always duplicate them and create "markup" sequences with my initials where I leave color coded markers to help myself navigate the project more fluently. Altogether in the project at-hand, I created six duplicated sequences with markers. After leaving the project for a week, I opened it today and all of my marked sequences had vanished from the project but one. I searched "sequence" in the project browser just to make sure I hadn't somehow moved all six sequences to a random folder. I then thought, "no biggie, I have autosave set to save every 5 minutes, so I'll just go back to a previous iteration." When I opened the autosave project, the sequences were missing from it as well. I then went through two weeks of autosaves. The sequences are missing from all of the project files as if I never created them. The thing is, I did.
Hello community, Wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Have not found any answers on this yet.I always save my projects as a new version when starting a new edit session. When I do this, I've noticed that sometimes the Media Intelligence starts the analysis process again from zero. No media has been moved to another location. Working from the exact same drive and folder structure. The .prin and .prmi files are intact. Why is Premiere reanalyzing all the media from scratch? Very time consuming. Is there a way to manually relink these analysis files the same way I can relink media? Thank you.
