I am attempting to create an e-learning module and would like the sections of my circular diagram to enlarge while the voice over is playing. I can not seem to find an option to zoom on captivate 13
I have a project that is 908 mb that I created in, I think 12.3 Captivate. I think that’s the case, because it won’t open in 13.1, so I cannot verify that.I’ve tried all solutions mentioned here for opening large files without any success. I had the file on my OneDrive, but it was causing issues syncing with new projects, so I removed the project from OneDrive and placed it on my local drive. I get the same sequence of trying to open the file, and sometimes I can see the typical icon “spinning,” but after about 5 minutes, it goes away & I’m left with a blank screen.I need to update this project with new material. Please tell me I don’t have to recreate the project. It took hours to create.

I have created a quiz template and interactions and brand etc in one captivate 13.1 project. I wish to copy to another project (captivate 13.1) so I don’t have to do all the coding manually all over again. Is the same possible?
Adobe Captivate 13.1.1.200 - radio group not resetting when returning to slide previous answer still visibleI am working on a module for a client and having an issue, not sure if I am not thinking of something or if it is a limitation in Captivate 13.1.1.200. I have a radio button group for users to select an option on a slide (a custom question with branching to correct and incorrect rationales and additional content). If the user got it incorrect after reviewing the rationale and additional information, they return to the custom question screen to try again. The variables are clear, but visually, the selected radio button stays selected. Does anyone have experience with this type of issue or know how to visually force Captive to deselect the radio buttons so they do not appear as entered?
I'm using Adobe Captivate 13 and upon publish, the text does not appear correctly in mobile view. Example scenario: On a slide I have two paragraph blocks with subheader and body text. In subheader the text should be 18 px and body text 16. I have the same specs for block 2. I also have auto layout turned on for both. In preview everything looks fine. But upon publishing, my smartphone shows the subheader text is smaller than the body text for both paragraph. Another common error: the subheader text should be in bold but upon publish it shows up in regular. It's very time consuming to edit, publish, and test. Just wondering if there are rules or best practices that I’m missing. This only seems to be an issue with smartphone screen sizes because making changes and publishing in desktop view, the output is correct. What techniques have others used to correct this problem in mobile view?
I have imported a PowerPoint slide deck that uses the Lato Google font for all text content. Within a given paragraph, the font may be regular, bold, italic, or both bold and italic. I can see this formatting in Captivate, but when publishing the text is all regular Lato (no bold, italic, or bold italics).Formatting in Captivate: After publishing, viewed in the browser: If I inspect the HTML code, I can see where it’s placed the text that should be formatted differently into different <span>s, but the inline styles are not applying bold or italic styles:<div data-offset-key="8p3ht-0-0" class="public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr"><span data-offset-key="8p3ht-0-0" style="-webkit-text-stroke: unset; background-color: unset; border-bottom-style: none; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 22px; font-family: Lato, Arial; font-stretch: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: 0px; line-height: 130%; opacity: 1; text-decoration: n
My captivate has a habit of crashing and closing and its getting frequent hence the need to upgrade might probably help.
while exporting the Closed captions i am getting an error telling to ensure that Microsoft word is installed. but i see that i have Microsoftword installed in my windows.
About two weeks ago, when I tried to access my Captivate 2019 app, I got an Activation Failed banner. My IT dept reloaded the application and I restarted my computer, but the error remains.Any thoughts? I do have co-loaded Captivate 2024 but this has not presented any issues in the past.Thank you.Don
I'm looking for guidance on making software simulations created in Captivate 13 scale properly across different screen sizes. In older versions of Captivate, there was a "Scalable HTML Content" option that could be enabled. My understanding is that in Captivate 13 responsive HTML output is built in, but it doesn't appear to apply to software simulations.Has anyone found a practical solution for making simulations resize correctly on different displays without requiring users to change their screen resolution or browser zoom?
I have Captivate 13 and use Adobe Learning Manager. When the learner exits the course they do not return to where the left but to the beginning of the course. It seems simple but I am stumped. WHat am I missing?
I am working with a client, and we are building multiple modules. They are fairly happy with things, but they are not a fan of the closed captions auto-running as soon as the learner enters the course.Toggling closed captions off from the TOC removes the option from the playbar, and toggling them off from publish disables them.I found a Java Script workaround, but it only seems to work in Microsoft Edge (but no other browsers). Does anyone have a solution for this, or do we know if Adobe is working to fix this? I’m all for accessibility, but I also need to make my client happy.
I need to decrease the height of the image grid container. Is this not possible?
I updated to All New Captivate 13.1.1 today and want to try out the CAPTIVATE CLASSIC IMPORT (BETA) feature but I can’t get beyond the initial splash screen which just sits saying IMPORTING YOUR PROJECT - the thing is I haven’t even told it which project I want importing yet - is this a known issue? Thank you in advance.
Is Adobe Media encoder 2023 included for free in the full license and subscription versions of captivate? Or to use Media encoder cc all apps license or a standalone license for Media encoder is needed to be purchased?
Since yesterday, I’ve been encountering an error when exporting a document from Captivate 2019. Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue, and could you help me resolve it?
Im trying to log into Adobe Sign to see if I have to do something there & I cannot log in. I get the error: Invalid state token. Please retry.
I have had a strange bug creep into two of my Captivate 19 elearning packages. When answering all the questions correctly on entering the last quiz question, I get the spinning icon for a couple of seconds and then the package goes back to the launch screen with the play button icon. when clicking on the play button icon it takes me back to the last quiz question and lets me complete the quiz. This does not happen when failing the quiz and it does not happen testing locally in HTML5 in browser. The LMS is Cornerstone Pal, using scorm 1.2Thanks for your help in advanceMichael

I am working on a project where the client wants the project to start with closed captioning off, but allow the user to turn it on and off again if they wish. I thought this would be simple...but it appears that it isn't. If I use the toggle to turn closed captioning off at publish from the Project Properties, the CC button in the playbar remains grayed out and clicking on it doesn't reveal the captions if the user wants them on. The same is true if I publish with captions on but use an On Enter action on the first slide to turn captions off via setting the Project.ClosedCaptions variable to False. If I publish with captions off and then use a button to allow the user to turn captions on via setting the Project.ClosedCaptions variable to True, this does activate the captions- but then the playbar CC button does not work to turn the captions off again. Is there any way to publish with captions off as the default, but allow the user to turn them on and off
copy and paste is greyed out, I need to be able to copy and paste objects/buttons across multiple slides or I will have to go back to Classic as it works there.
New user to Captivate and I am looking for online tutorials to help me through my first presentation. Any help in direction is appreciated.
Hi All!I have an elearning course generated by a 3rd party developer using captivate. The course stopped playing on anything about 4 days ago.Looking at some of the underlying errors, it seems it is with 404 errors tied to this url, which I think is maybe an adobe font? https://use.typekit.net/.css?v=1745173564I don’t have access to the source files but wondering if this is something anyone has encountered? Thanks,Susan
