Is Adobe Media encoder 2023 included for free in the full license and subscription versions of captivate? Or to use Media encoder cc all apps license or a standalone license for Media encoder is needed to be purchased?
Since yesterday, I’ve been encountering an error when exporting a document from Captivate 2019. Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue, and could you help me resolve it?
Im trying to log into Adobe Sign to see if I have to do something there & I cannot log in. I get the error: Invalid state token. Please retry.
I have had a strange bug creep into two of my Captivate 19 elearning packages. When answering all the questions correctly on entering the last quiz question, I get the spinning icon for a couple of seconds and then the package goes back to the launch screen with the play button icon. when clicking on the play button icon it takes me back to the last quiz question and lets me complete the quiz. This does not happen when failing the quiz and it does not happen testing locally in HTML5 in browser. The LMS is Cornerstone Pal, using scorm 1.2Thanks for your help in advanceMichael

I am working on a project where the client wants the project to start with closed captioning off, but allow the user to turn it on and off again if they wish. I thought this would be simple...but it appears that it isn't. If I use the toggle to turn closed captioning off at publish from the Project Properties, the CC button in the playbar remains grayed out and clicking on it doesn't reveal the captions if the user wants them on. The same is true if I publish with captions on but use an On Enter action on the first slide to turn captions off via setting the Project.ClosedCaptions variable to False. If I publish with captions off and then use a button to allow the user to turn captions on via setting the Project.ClosedCaptions variable to True, this does activate the captions- but then the playbar CC button does not work to turn the captions off again. Is there any way to publish with captions off as the default, but allow the user to turn them on and off
copy and paste is greyed out, I need to be able to copy and paste objects/buttons across multiple slides or I will have to go back to Classic as it works there.
New user to Captivate and I am looking for online tutorials to help me through my first presentation. Any help in direction is appreciated.
Hi All!I have an elearning course generated by a 3rd party developer using captivate. The course stopped playing on anything about 4 days ago.Looking at some of the underlying errors, it seems it is with 404 errors tied to this url, which I think is maybe an adobe font? https://use.typekit.net/.css?v=1745173564I don’t have access to the source files but wondering if this is something anyone has encountered? Thanks,Susan
I am on the 12.6 version of Captivate. In the last two weeks, I am unable to view anyone's CP project review link sent to me or any CP review links I create. The page either gets stuck at 90% or it gets past the project loading and then the page continues to spin. I have restarted the program many times and restarted my computer with no luck. This is frustrating as I then cannot view the comments left for me in the reviews. Has anyone experienced this?
I previously talked to a rep at Adobe who just told me to keep switching profiles- but I’m having the same issues but now my voices are also gone.Adobe Captivate 13.1 Licensing and AI Voice IssueI am using Adobe Captivate 13.1 on Windows. My Adobe ID has two profiles associated with the same email address: Personal Profile: Contains my individual Captivate subscription. Business Profile (Kamiwaza AI): Contains my Acrobat subscription. I am experiencing two related issues:1. Captivate repeatedly loses its license stateEvery time I launch Captivate, I receive a "Start your free trial of Captivate" message and must click "Sign out and use a different Adobe ID" before I can access my licensed copy of Captivate. However, the issue is more severe than a startup login problem.Even after I have successfully authenticated and am actively working in Captivate, the application may present the Trial/Buy Captivate screen again when I choose File > New Project or attempt to open another project.I
How are we supposed to use AI Narrator in slide transcripts in Captivate?
I just need to insert the letter x into a small box on a piece of paper

I'm maintaining an LMS, and many clients are complaining about quiz slides that are getting stuck - happens only for SCROMs that were published via captivate (either 1.2 or 2004). Sometimes it's after retaking them, sometimes it's on the first attempt, and I have tried to debug many times to determine what the problems are. I need your advice: what can be the issue?I suspect that is related to the suspend_data value.

Hello,My team is developing a custom Click-to-Drop interaction in Adobe Captivate Classic. We are using JavaScript to handle the logic, but we’ve run into a structural hurdle regarding how objects are rendered in the published HTML5 output. Our working understanding is that objects (like text and shapes) are rendered as "sister" objects. More specifically, we've found that for a single interactive element, the visible layer and the clickable layer appear to be separated with no distinct parent object linking them. This makes it difficult to move an object via JavaScript, as moving the visible element doesn't seem to move the "clickability" along with it. We feel like we are missing a fundamental piece of the hierarchy. Here is a simplified snippet of how we are currently identifying these elements:JavaScript:// We can locate the visible 'reWrap', but the interactive layer seems separateitems.forEach(item => { item.visibleLayer = document.getElementById(item.textId); // Visible text
in captivate itself it shows a scroll barIn preview and review links the scrollbar disappears and you cannot view all textAfter updating to the latest Captivate 13.1.1.200, our click to reveal activities appear to be broken… we can no longer scroll text that was previously scrollable, leaving us with cut off text. ----update------while this technically remains broken for body text on the click to reveal cards, moving the text to sub heading seems to be the only work around.
This is the first time I had logged a question on the forum so apologies in advance if my query has been raised by someone else. Has anyone come across an issue whereby web browsers are not recognising that a course has been completed and so users see a browser pop up ‘leave site? changes that you make may not be saved’ after the course has been marked complete on an LMS?I have a course that has been created in Captivate version 12.0.4.20 and published locally with enabled reporting settings for xAPI, success settings 100% screen views. We have a Learndash LMS with Grassblade plug in. The Mark completion button is working as it should on the LMS, course tracking is recording as it should when eLearning has been viewed, but when the user clicks the link to go to the quiz which is associated with the course, the web browser prompt comes up. The user can click to leave the site and it take them to the quiz to complete, but clearly I don’t want learners getting confused by the browser prom
Running Tahoe 26.4 on Mini Mac M2.cpt files will not open. Even the “Quick Start” projects on the cpt splash screen will not open.cpt files do run on Tahoe 26.3.1Apple Support consulted, no issues reported with Tahoe 24.6 regarding the running of apps.New user created on Tahoe 24.6, .cpt issues remains. In desperation, a complete reset of Mini Mac M2, the .cpt issue remainsThe only way to open the .cpt files on Tahoe 26.4 is to rename the .cpt.bak files. They open but if closed without an edit and save, they will not open again. With an edit and save they will open during that session. If the Mini Mac M2 in shut down, on restart the .cpt files created from the .bak files will not open.Classic .cpt files work perfectly in Tahoe 26.4 (Captivate 2019)
In Cp 13, I can add a question slide and change it to a knowldege check and the results slide automaticly hides when publish which is what I want. However if I add another question slide and change it to a knowledge check, the results slide now shows during publish and I don’t have the option to hide it. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? We only do formative questions in elearning so we only want knowledge check questions and don’t want learners to see the results slide since it doesn’t show results unless the question is graded. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
We have a course built in captivate 13 that we recently scormed for a client. The client is seeing black icons everywhere, even though our carousel arrows should be blue and the TOC icon white… We dont even have states on those icons that are black. We think this is either an accessibility feature turned on for contrast, or their ELM LMS is changing hex codes on us which we have no access too… does anyone know how to prevent this? the client is having a knee jerk reaction wanting to redesign 22 courses as a result and I have no clue how to get them to understand how to trouble shoot this on their end.
I have a client claiming you can put a photo where this play button is when the course is first opened in captivate 13. I have never seen an option for this. I know captivate classic and storyline have this option. Where do I find it in captivate 13?
So I had a client want a timed quiz and I explained to them the only option in the new captivate is that you can set a time limit per question… But now I’ve hit a new issue. When that time limit is reached, it pops up saying time has run out and that they can click anywhere to continue… but clicking does nothing. It doesnt take you to the next slide effectively soft locking the user in the course.Am I overlooking a setting? Is this an unfinished feature? It makes no sense to me why there are no options of what happens when the time runs out...
Here is a screenshot and you can see I am using Poppins which is a font found on Adobe fonts. Here is the link:https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/poppinsand here is the screen shot showing my fonts. Now I have created a new project that only involves 360 modules in Adobe Captivate Classic and my only options are web safe and system fonts. Any suggestions?
