Feature Requests for Adobe Premiere on iPad and iPhoneOpen for Voting

Dear Adobe Team, I regularly work with Premiere on both the iPad Pro and the iPhone, especially for Log video workflows. The mobile version has tremendous potential, and I would like to suggest a few features that would significantly improve professional use. 1. Support for importing custom LUTs for Log footageBeing able to import and manage custom LUTs would be a major improvement. For Log workflows, having personalized LUTs is essential for consistent color management. 2. Option to select Input GammaIt would be extremely helpful to manually set the input gamma (e.g., S-Log3, V-Log, Canon Log, etc.). Correct gamma assignment before grading is crucial for accurate color work. 3. AI-powered masking toolsA dedicated AI-based masking feature—similar to the desktop version or Lightroom—would greatly simplify selective editing. Automatic detection of people, faces, or objects would be ideal. 4. More templates and more effectsAn expanded library of high-quality transitions, effects, and presets would make the mobile version far more versatile, especially for social-media-focused workflows. 5. Built-in video stabilizationA stabilization tool comparable to Warp Stabilizer on the desktop is currently missing. For mobile shooting, this is an essential feature. I would be very happy to see these improvements in future updates. Premiere for iPad and iPhone has the potential to fully support professional workflows on the go. Thank you for your great work and for continuously evolving the app! Kind regards,Tommy

P: Creative Lens Artifact Add Coma and Chromatic Aberration (as Effects) for Vintage/Cinematic LooksOpen for Voting

What I’m trying to solve Lightroom Classic is amazing for clean, professional results—but when I want a vintage lens / cinematic aesthetic, I often need to add optical imperfections. Right now, I end up editing certain photos in DaVinci Resolve specifically because I can add artifacts like coma and chromatic aberration creatively. I’d strongly prefer to keep this inside Lightroom Classic so I can stay in a batch-edit workflow.   Requested improvement (one request):Add creative controls to intentionally introduce: Coma (especially visible toward frame edges/highlights) Chromatic Aberration (add, not just remove) Why this matters / workflow impactThis would let photographers emulate vintage lenses and build a cohesive look directly in Lightroom Classic without round-tripping to other software. It’s not about “fixing” optics—it’s about creative styling.   Where this helps most Night scenes / point light sources (coma look) Vintage lens emulation for portraits and lifestyle Cinematic grading where slight edge imperfections enhance mood Consistent “lens character” across a full series (batch-friendly)   Suggested controls (example) Coma Amount Coma Falloff (center → edges) Highlight Sensitivity (apply mostly to bright points) Chromatic Aberration Amount CA Direction / Channel Bias (subtle red/cyan vs blue/yellow feel) Edge weighting + optional radial masking integration   Enlist supportIf you want more cinematic/vintage looks directly in Lightroom Classic (especially for batch edits), please upvote—this would reduce round-tripping and speed up production workflows.

Make Guide Lock Persistent Across Files, Sessions, and Smart ObjectsOpen for Voting

Currently, when I lock guides in a Photoshop file and then close the file or restart Photoshop, the guides become automatically unlocked when the file is reopened. This causes accidental guide movement when making quick edits, which disrupts workflow and precision.I would like guides to remain locked persistently until the user manually unlocks them — regardless of:Closing and reopening the fileRestarting PhotoshopMaking changes in the documentAdditionally, this issue becomes more problematic when working with Smart Objects. If guides are locked in the main document and I double-click a Smart Object to edit it:The Smart Object opens in a new documentThe guides in that Smart Object file are not lockedThis leads to accidental guide changes while editing the Smart Object, even though the parent file’s guides are lockedRequested ImprovementsPersistent Guide Lock StateLocked guides should stay locked across file saves, file reopen, and Photoshop restarts.Guide Lock Consistency in Smart ObjectsWhen editing a Smart Object, guides should respect the same locked behavior or allow an option to inherit the locked state.Optional Preference SettingA preference such as “Keep Guides Locked Until Manually Unlocked” would greatly improve accuracy and prevent accidental changes.  This enhancement would significantly improve precision-based workflows, especially for UI, print, and layout designers who rely heavily on guides. Thank you for considering this improvement.

P: unify metadata filtering across Lightroom ClassicOpen for Voting

I’m running Windows 11 (10.0.26200 Build 26200) and frequently encounter drag‑and‑drop failures in Lightroom Classic. Restarting after optimizing the catalog temporarily restores functionality, but the issue quickly returns. I previously posted about this here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/drag-and-drop-in-15-0-1-stops-working-on-windows-11-system/m-p/15622248#M420757   After extensive testing and diagnostic traces, I believe the problem is linked to background catalog writes. The WAL file grows rapidly after each restart, from just a few kilobytes to hundreds of megabytes. In my workflow, I rely heavily on Smart Collections to refine photos into distinct groupings — particularly by dimensions based on long edge — which generates thousands of writes back to the catalog. This workaround is necessary because the Library Filter bar does not expose the same metadata fields available in Smart Collection rules. All of this metadata is clearly accessible to Lightroom, but the filtering options are inconsistent across the application. That inconsistency forces users into Smart Collections, which in turn creates unnecessary catalog churn and performance issues. Feature Request Please unify metadata filtering across Lightroom Classic. If a field is supported in Smart Collections, it should also be available in the Library Filter bar. Specifically: Expose all catalog metadata fields (e.g., long edge, megapixels, aspect ratio) in the Filter bar. Allow users to create and save custom filter presets (e.g., “long edge > 3000px”). This would eliminate the need for Smart Collection workarounds, reduce catalog churn, and streamline workflows without requiring a bug fix. Benefit This change would make resolution‑based workflows faster, more efficient, and less error‑prone. It would also reduce background catalog writes, improving stability and performance. In short: if Lightroom can query a field in Smart Collections, it should be filterable in the Library bar.

Firefly Image History and Gallery NavigationOpen for Voting

I'd like to provide feedback on the user experience when accessing my image history in Firefly. The current navigation flow is causing significant frustration and disrupting my workflow.Specific Issues:Confusing navigation between Canvas and History The path from the main canvas to viewing my image history feels unintuitive and awkward. It's not clear or easy to access my past work.Viewing images requires too many steps When I click on an image from my history to verify it's the one I want, getting back to my history gallery requires unnecessary extra clicks. This back-and-forth should be seamless but instead feels clunky."Back to Gallery" button goes to the WRONG gallery This is the most frustrating issue: When I'm viewing one of MY images and want to return to MY gallery, the first/default option takes me to the PUBLIC gallery instead—where none of my images are stored. Why would the navigation default to a public gallery when I'm working with my personal images?Suggested Improvement: The navigation should keep users within their personal workspace. When viewing my own images, the "back" or "gallery" option should return me to MY image history, not the public gallery. The flow should be intuitive: Canvas, My History, Individual Image, Back to My History. This navigation issue is disruptive enough that it makes me want to close the application entirely. I hope this feedback receives attention, as improving this flow would significantly enhance the user experience.Thank you for considering this feedback.
