Official JXR support is desired given Windows natively supports it, and creates JXR files when making screenshots in HDR. A previously made plugin is now no longer installable.https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52369 A native solution for viewing created HDR images on PC (especially since it's not possible in photoshop) would be very valuable to me. Here's an example file taken from the latest Spiderman Game release. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xi8ebwawl9o17r/Marvel%27s%20Spider-Man%20Remastered%20v1.831.2.0%209_5_2022%2010_00_58%20PM.jxr?dl=0
We need native support for a “live link” feature—just like Battle Axe’s Overload—built right into After Effects. Imagine designing in Illustrator and having your artwork stream straight into AE in real time so you can animate without any extra steps. It’s baffling that something this essential is still locked behind third-party plugins. Sure, you can kind of rig it today, but the Illustrator ↔ After Effects workflow is awful:You can only import one artboard at a time. That forces you to split every screen layout into its own .ai file.Illustrator files come in as single Vector layers. Unless you manually convert them to Shape layers, you can’t even move a sub-layer independently.Even when you do convert to Shapes, you can’t import each sub-layer as its own AE layer. Everything ends up grouped, and shortcuts like P, S, T, and U simply open the parent layer’s transforms—not the individual pieces you need.Right now, you can’t iterate between After Effects and Illustrator: build a rough comp in AE, tweak the artwork in Illustrator, then have your revised design flow back into AE. That back-and-forth is exactly what motion artists need—but it’s impossible today.I’m counting on Adobe’s engineering team to deliver this capability natively. Let’s bring Overload-style live linking into After Effects at last!
Hello, Adobe Society! In After Effects and Premier Pro, replace the video (or already cut) parts on the edited track with another video with the same timings. Ersultan Nurash, Kazakhstan. ersultan.nurash@gmail.com
Hi, I know its early days as its just been released but are there any plans to support the barrel roll / squeeze functions on the new Apple Pencil Pro? As far as I can see hover isnt supported as yet and thats been about for a bit... any news / thoughts? Thanks
Most Substance Applications Worskpace Navigation is located on RIGHT. Viewer by default use LEFT. Would be better to place it bt default on the RIGHT-similar to Painter, Sampler, Stager, Dimension, Photoshop etc.
What the hell does this mean? It's German, but it's not translatable. Is this state of the art? Seems we are years away...
I have a series of images taken of the same frame with varying focus points. As I work from near to far, focus breathing does it's thing and slightly reframes each image. It would be great if there was a tool to automatically crop multiple images to the same perspective.
I have recently downloaded the Beta version, and so far, I am impressed. In particular, the removal tool is performing exceptionally well, surpassing even the capabilities of Photoshop 2025. However, I believe that Adobe can further enhance its product, potentially surpassing even the Samsung S25 Ultra. The removal tool is currently at an exceptional level, and I suggest that some adjustments be made to this update to further improve its performance.
Adding a smoke effect in Photoshop will be amazing, and generating haze similar to the fire generator is also a great option.
Hello! I would love, love, LOVE to be able to filter and sort files in my Adobe libraries by what kind of license they have: Licensed (from Adobe Stock), Unlicensed (also from Adobe Stock), or Non-Stock (anything else). We can already do this in the Stock site's library, but not in the CC Desktop App library, or the CC online equivalent library, or in Bridge. But sadly the Stock site doesn't let us move licensed images from one library or group to another - at least, not easily enough that I'd have found it within the last few years. In other words, I would love to have one designated place I can access and manage my Adobe Stock library in detail. Currently different important features are split across several different places - the Stock site, the CC central hub app (whether desktop or online), and Bridge. But if I could do all those features at once in just one software/site/program? Oh, I'd swoon. Here's some screenshots to illustrate what I mean. CC DesktopHere's the CC Desktop app library interface for one of my libraries of Stock images, unsorted and unfiltered. And here's the sort options for that library in this interface. But I can move files here from one library to another. Stock SiteMeanwhile, here's the Stock site's interface for the same library. That same library, filtered to just have Unlicensed. And the same again, but filtered to just Licensed. Here's one of my licensed pictures. There's no option here to move it to another library. Bridge LibraryAnd here's the same library in Bridge. And here's the Filter options. These do not include anything about licenses. And here's the sort options. Again, no mention of licenses.Bridge also allows moving files from one library to another. RequestI'd love to have all of these options together at once in one of these platforms, if not in all three. Specifically, that's the functional option to do all of these:Move files from one library to anotherSort by Licensed, Unlicensed, or Non-StockFilter by Licensed, Unlicensed, or Non-Stock Thank you!
With the move of the Enhance feature to the Detail subpanel, ACR no longer provides estimated times for Denoise, RAW Details, or Super Resolution. I assume the programmers simply forgot it, so I'm submitting it as a bug.
I have extra "My Libraries" and don't want to select/empty them one-by-one. I'd like to "select all" for empty/duplicate libraries. OR, going forward, no library should allowed to be created w/ the same name, so you're forced to name the library and will be less likely to have duplicates or empty libraries.
I've been using Lightroom, especially mobile version, for so long, resulting having tons of presets over the years. Sometimes I set the name randomly, for example: "film 35" and "disposable film". It'd be cool if there's a search button, then I can simply type "film" and all my presets that has "film" name on it, would be listed rather than having to scroll through tons of presets that might not suitable to the photos I'm editing. That'll make editing even faster!
would be cool to have a "drop and blend feature". Example I want the running blocks from the image on the left but i prefer the background on the right. If I could select (Lasso) the blocks on the left and drop onto the other image and have firefly merge them this would be extremely helpful. Remix in boards didn't really do this.
Please add Ascending/ Descending Toggle to Folders/Collections in LightroomClassic I just asked adobe official tech support and they sent me here. Say you have 100 Folders or Collections, or Collections sets. You currently cannot sort the folders in the collection pannel so that folder named "100" is at the top! So you have to Scrool Down 100 Collections folders to get to the lastest few collections you were working on. I know I could rename my folders but I dont want to. The sorting available now is "sort by Kind or Name" There is no Toggle for Up and Down (Ascending / Descending) for Sort By Names. That's all I'm asking, This would be great and would help so many people that are currently renameing or scrolling a lot just to get to their preset panel or to see the latest collections they were working on. Sorting feature just like already exists within a collection for the Photos. A Toggle for top to bottom Ascending / Descending for Collections! Thank you so much!
Ok Adobe has finally recently brought Smooth Zoom to AE, so I guess this is also coming sooner or later - I'm not gonna go too hard on them 😁😁 they're the best! From what I understand Photoshop was the only app to have a History panel, right? and they have implemented it along all Adobe apps now. Same with the Properties tab, which in Premiere makes a huge difference!
The popup help for tools and panel items are too helpful. They are annoying and get in the way. I'm constantly swatting them away but they always come back, like mosquitoes. Please provide an option to suppress them, they drive me crazy.
I'm a big fan of the layer based compositing and layer based editing After Effects currently has. That being said I'm well aware of the demand for node based workflows from other professionals in my field who use software like Davinci Resolve/Fusion/Nuke. From what I gather I have heard the excuse that AE is too old and integating such feature's would be too difficult. I'm no expert on software development but my suggestion would be to devide After Effects in two. Upon opening After Effects you are greeted with a choice of what kind of project you would like to make. A "Layer Based" or "Node Based" project. Selecting Layer Based will take you to the traditional layout. Selecting Node Based will launch you into a new UI that visually more akin to something like Nuke. Over time Adobe can work on ways to integrate the two halves together but by doing this they can cater to professionals or new enthusiasts who want to try out other methods of compositing.
