Bug Overview: GPU Rendering Artifacts on Text Selection Issue: Magenta and cyan pixel glitches appear along the edges of the selection box when highlighting text.

My Illustrator starts lagging severely after I create a share for review, literally right after creating it, the lag becomes unbearable, forcing me to restart the program to fix the issue.

Sometimes a panel will open so tall that even if you can drag the top of it to the top of your screen, you can't select the bottom edge so you can shorten it. There is a "Reset" option for your workspace, but I don't think Adobe should assume users know about it or have to resort to it. To compare, my Mac and Windows computers can detect available resolutions and refresh rates of external displays, so it would not be a stretch to assume that a desktop application can detect the user's display and correct accordingly.

Getting this error with very little running and plenty of RAMBeta 30.9.66

I opened a pdf file to illustrator and commanded AI to add an image to one artboard and then convert artboards to svg. When in the beginning step of adding the image the app crashes.

JPEG image drag-and-drop to Illustrator: nothing shows up. I can't see the previous ones, and I can't see the picture either. Undo past; I can see it, but the image doesn't show up Before drag-and-drop  After drag-and-drop 

I have connected to internet, still it is saying internet issues

I draw using the paintbrush tool and it works but the lines are much thicker than they should be, and I cannot edit the strokes. The way ive found around it is that i need to select all the drawn lines, clear the appearance, then I can change the stroke width and matches what it should be. Once I’ve cleared the appearance I can also edit the type of stroke (like turning a solid line into a dashed line). Also the eraser continuously erases things outside of its radius no matter how small i make the eraser.

I have an image embedded in my Illustrator document that I’d like to remove, so I do ‘go to link’ to delete it:...but ‘Go To Link’ does absolutely nothing. Obviously a bug.So then I try to ‘Unembed’ it, but I get the stupid error: “The image cannot be unembedded because it is hidden.”. Another bug:There is also the option “Show in Explorer”, which makes no sense for an embedded image. Selecting this just opens the Libraries panel. Another bug.So then I just click on the trash can icon, and bug number 4 appears:I don’t care that it’s hidden, and neither should Illustrator! I hate the way Illustrator NEVER allows me to do ANYTHING on hidden items. It is frustrating and pointless that this restriction exists.As a last resort, I’ve tried asking the SLOOOOWWWW (I’m typing this while it ‘thinks’) and generally useless AI Assistant to “Find any embedded images and show them in the Layers palette” and, to my surprise, it succeeded! That’s the first time I’ve ever found a use for the AI Assista

Ai is great. I love working with it. But a big panel message like this should be hide-able.

Illustrator (Beta) installs and launches once, but after a system restart or letting the machine sit overnight, it stops opening. The app hangs at the very start of launch and never reaches the UI. A clean reinstall fixes it only for one session. Certain transform tools don't show a live preview of changes while editing (e.g. the rotate tool won't show previews of rotation before releasing). Some notes:This is a new behavior, as of a recent update. This only happens using "View using GPU"; the preview works normally with "View using CPU", albeit slightly slower.  This occurs even if "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" is active in Preferences>Performance and GPU is selected as active on the same page. This behavior isn't present in the current non-Beta Illustrator version using the same hardware and GPU settings.

When I restart my computer and an AI window is open, it freezes completely, so I have to force a shutdown to use AI again. 

macOS 26.5.2, Illustrator Beta only. No Wacom hardware or driver installed. No Wacom launch services/system extensions. Wacom installer receipt removed. Enable Wacom disabled. Regular Illustrator does not display the warning. Illustrator Beta displays “Illustrator found an issue with Wacom driver” at every launch.

Transforming an object when “use preview bounds” enabled, has a strange quirk. This happens in the beta app and the regular app. What I notice I that the transforming the object moves it slightly.In the second image below, I have moved the bottom edge up, transforming the square thinner. You can see the top edge has moved up. You can see how the square outline is now above the cyan guide.  Not sure if this is how it is supposed to work, but it’s not what I would expect. I would not except a position shift on transform (manually moving an edge) even with “use preview bounds” enabled.object before transform. notice cyan guide at topobject after transform. When I try to edit a point on an object, instead of viewing the edit I’m making as a live-preview, I just see every object on the artboard in it’s outline mode… and I can see what I’m actually doing (see attached screencap). I also get the same behavior when I try to move an object when I hold down the shift key to constrain the objects movement… everything goes into outline mode and freezes, and I can only see the result of the move when I release the mouse.The problem happens most of the time… but there are some time when things work properly… but that’s rare, and shouldn’t be this way. Hope you can fix this right away… it makes it a lot harder to get things done in the app. Thanks.

when i got the liscence to use the adobe apps i was also able to use the turntable feature in illustrator beta, yet after a little bug reset. and a relogin i somehow cant use it, saying i dont have enough credits for it. or not the right plan to use it. and when i click for the option to fix it in illustrator it opens the website but automatically closes. and ive tried every way to fix this and it still doesnt work

mouse slutter and jumping

in trying to scale this object up from the top edge when a stroke is applied it changes the position of the bottom anchor point. You can see the anchor point position compared from image 2+3, the transformed line with the stroke has been moved away from the guide, while it (correctly) stays in the right position when the stroke is removed.

Whenever I install an Adobe beta app, it seems to take over as though it were the only version installed. I need Illustrator Beta to open only the documents I specifically choose, not replace the current version of Illustrator as the default.Please keep beta apps separate. The standard versions of Bridge, Illustrator, and Photoshop should remain the default applications, while the beta versions should open only when manually selected.

In illustrator Beta 30.6 27 pressing the shift modifier key when deleting an anchor point using the pen tool, changes the tool to the create new path anchor.  Switches from a minus sign to a star symbol, and starts a new path rather than deleting the anchor without changing the shape of the path.
