Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi, when click on photo it says "failed to load development version" can someone help me to fix it?  {Thread title edited by Moderator}  

Hey Lightroom Community!  One of my students is getting this "Unable to Move Some Photos" message each time she opens Lightroom (see attached screenshot). She can import new images without issue, but this error has persisted for about a week. If we "Postpone for a Week" and check her sync status, she is getting the "Synced and Backed Up" message so things appear to be working normally.   In all the related Community posts for this issue it seems like other users are seeing more text at the bottom of this pop-up that explains why the images can't be moved. In our case, this is all the information we have access to. If I click "Learn More" it just takes me to the generic Lightroom manual explaining how all this works.  The student in question does have the "Store a copy of all originals" option turned on with the destination set to an external hard drive.  The main issue is, Lightroom is providing no information on which images are u

I am a Very busy photographer and the more this app updates the worse it gets. ill list a few of my extremely bad bugs and this is after reinstalls and mac restarts they still occur. 1. crop tool enter does not work pressing enter does not finnish it just leaves the grid on and it will not go away till you go back to edit 2. the remove tool is garbage now if you crop a image and have to rotate the image because you used a tripod faceing downward good luck with remove tool. the red spot will move to the existing spot before you turned the image instead of where you actually are putting it. theres 0% chance of fixing it doesnt even fix itself after a restart or reinstall. the only work around is to make a big enough spot that you can see it zoom out and change to subtract take it away and than re add where you want. and as if that should be all its not. the select 3 options now does not work at all if you run in to this glitch. 3. my least favorite the arrow keys just stop working random

Why on earth do I have to keep "updating" my masks anytime I use the AI remove tool or adjust an adjacent mask? It doesn't even say what changed or why I need to do it. Are my edits changing? It was fine 2-3 weeks ago.  2.) Why is there another step put in the way of me exporting or watermarking->exporting photos? I am a working professional and sometimes I need to individually watermark->export hundreds of photos in one sitting. Every step you add to the export process in the name of sharing with the community(I've filled out the surveys, never asked for any of this) makes it harder for me to do the ONLY thing I even use Lightroom for. Which is edit photos well and efficiently. Please stop trying to be 20 different things to 20 million users.  3.) Can we please put the color tint values back to 5,0 denominations? I have a Snapdragon X Elite laptop with both emulated Lightroom Classic and native Lightroom CC. I can't believe, but the native CC is sluggish when navigating the UI, applying changes, etc. whilst the emulated Classic version works great. Of course, the AI denoise and compute-intensive features are slow, but not sluggish.   Adobe, please, please please, work on the arm native version   I'm on Windows 11 Lightroom C 8.3

I don't know how mayn albums Lr allows, but I am unable to scroll down to see or add any albums. Is there something I'm missing?

Ich kann seit einigen Tagen nicht mehr auf meine lightroom Premium-Funktionen zugreifen. Ich habe ein aktives Abo, welches ich monatlich per Paypal bezahle. Den Kauf tätigte ich damals über den Google Playstore. Auch diesen Monat ist wie gewohnt das Geld von meinem Konto abgezogen worden. Im Playstore kann ich die Transaktion auch nachvollziehen. Bei Adobe ist allerdings mein Premium Abo abgelaufen und ich habe die Benachrichtigung bekommen, dass keine Zahlung erhalten wurde. Beim Support konnte ich mein Anliegen nicht klären.  Hatte jemand schon einmal das Problem? Wie soll ich mich verhalten? An wen kann ich mich wenden?Ich habe in der lightroom-App versucht "Käufe wiederherstellen" zu wählen, da tut sich jedoch nichts, es lädt nur endlos lange.App neu installieren und neu anmelden etc. verlief alles erfolglos.

I've hardly used lightroom before. I click on 'getting started with lightroom' and it doesn't even tell me how to import a pic.  I'm entirely lost. I have stacks of photos to crop & adjust of my daughter's wedding. asap.

What is the best way of using lightroom for most photos (for its import/cloud sharing ability), but non-destructively editing some in photoshop?I ideally want to combine using lightroom for its cloud sharing ability, and photoshop for its layered editing ability.I've disliked lightroom in the past but have recently seen the potential of it in terms of importing and cloud-sharing - but it leaves a frustrating gap in the workflow.Namely the ability to non-destructively edit certain photos in photoshop.I can choose 'edit in photoshop' or 'open as smart object in photoshop', from lightroom, but that then returns a .tif to lightroom, and I've lost the ability to go back to the layers I had - if I choose edit in photoshop again, all the layers I'd created the first time are lost.So why don't I just use photoshop? I would - but the only thing it lacks is that it hasn't got the cloud-sharing ability that lightroom has. I really want the ability to 'save all to cloud'. It do

  Im trying to apply my presets but it says "some masking models failed to download. Please try again later." Not sure if it's because my cloud storage is almost full and on the top right it says "Sync Paused"  but when I click start syncing it says "You can only sync a single Lightroom catalog. You are currently syncing "Lightroom Catalog.Ircat .Would you like to sync "Lightroom Catalog-v13.Ircat" instead? If you choose to sync this catalog, photos that you've already synced will be added to this catalog."I'm not that informed with Lightroom besides the editing processes. Just wanted to throw this out to the community.   A few days ago I received a suspicious email that did nevertheless appear to originate from Adobe (the email address was "message@adobe.com"). It was an invite to view a Lightroom album and I could see from the preview there was also a video file attachment ("My Videos.FwZ.mp4") followed by a tinyurl link. Now alone that is suspect but I also have no reason to be expecting album invites from anyone because A) I do not use Lightroom, B) I do not know anyone who uses Lightroom, C) in fact I do not know anyone who uses Adobe nor is there anyone who should know my status as an ex Adobe subscription user.   I forwarded the email onto the specialised phishing team ("phishing@adobe.com") who eventually got back and told me in an a fairly automated way that the item I received did not appear to be a genuine Adobe message. Fine. But in the meantime I also checked it with the Adobe live chat who completely contradicted this and told me

The "About Lightroom" simply says Lr 8.3, yet when I look for help online, there are descriptions of Lightroom Classic or CC or Cloud-based, etc. Are these descriptions or names? And advice for one version doesn't seem to always apply to others.  Could you like color the Lr icons differently for the different versions?  When I try looking up something simple on my actual Lightroom like how to move folders the list of suggestions don't seem tailored to my version of Lightroom. If Lightroom wasn't so useful it wouldn't be worth it, but it can do amazing things. The learning curve isn't as steep as PhotoShop but I don't use it every day, so I have to struggle with "how did I do this a few months ago...?"Post, post, did it post...?

I am at Moynihan Hall in NYC, and I uploaded all of my street photography files taken on my Leica CL to edit them on Photoshop and Lightroom. However, neither Lightroom nor Photoshop is able to edit the DNG files as long as I am in Moynihan Hall.I tried all methods, including online tools and the Dxo Mark editor because I'm too impatient to wait to get back home to edit the DNG files (I am assuming that I will be "allowed" by the hackers to edit them when I am back home.)However, as long as I am in Moynihan Hall, I cannot open DNG files whatsover, no matter what kind of application I try to use to edit it on my computer. I tried to re-install the Adobe Creative Cloud out of frustration using the Adobe Cleaner Tool; however, the file became corrupt the moment I open the file.  This is insane.  I recorded partially the video of what was happening on my computer. Lightroom Cloud Based... Latest version.Selective editing works fine. I select my prefrence, I have coloured mask zone set up. It's fine.I then move on and do more editing elsewhere in the software.I then decide to return to the selective edit function and the masks for the different selective edits no longer show.It's one annoyance after another. One very obvious problem after another. Something eventually gets fixed. Something else that is very important and obvious becomes a problem...I'm thinking of finding different editing software and leaving the Adobe ecosystem. Lightroom never "just works". I'm sure there are pleanty of photo editing suites that do!!

Hi guys,I'm having prblems with the following:LightroomI  create an HDR photo merge and then do some editing on the produced photo which goes ok. The problems then start when I try to export and nothing happens, the system appears not to be able to load, I then have to revert back to edit the produced photo again and then it will load sucessfully and export. I'm currently using a Macbook Pro with the latest software installed.

I'm using Lightroom CC 3.2 I import my image into Lightroom CC and share it with a client. The shared image (JPG) has a lower resolution when the client tries to download the file from the shared link. I've tried this and can confirm that the file does have lower resolution when downloading from the shared link. When I go to the Lightroom Web App and log into my account, I can downloads full resolution image from there.  I would like to be able to share full resolution images with clients and for them to be able to download the same full resolution images.  I understand if the web preview doesn't show full resolution.
