Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I'll keep it short and simple, I used to edit photos on my lightroom mobile but didn't back up my photos and sold my phone(yes i know im dumb) and now i need help in recovering them.

I migrated my library from Lightroom Classic CC to Lightroom CC and purchased the 1TB plan with the intention of backing my full-resolution photos up in Adobe's cloud (as well as a local external drive). However, I *far* prefer the interface of Lightroom Classic CC, and also really like having the full-res original photos stored in a known location on my system. I've enabled sync between the two apps, but am a little confused about the right way to import photos.I imported a set of photos in Lightroom Classic, and dragged them into a synced collection with the goal of having them uploaded to the cloud. However, I think only the smart previews were uploaded. In Lightroom CC, the photos are showing up but they are not full resolution (when I view a photo in Lightroom CC, it says "Local: Smart Preview" and "Cloud: Smart Preview Only").How can I take advantage of that 1TB of space and have my photos backed up in full to the Adobe cloud, while continuing to have them stored locally in a san

Hello!I just upgraded from Lightroom Classic and I've been doing some disk cleaning to try to declutter my workflow. My C: drive is too small to hold the preview files for Lightroom, especially in the quantity that I use it for. When I installed the latest Lightroom, I selected a location on a different drive (F:) which I have plenty more room on. However, when I launched the new Lightroom and attempted to import the media, it tried to put the photo cache onto my C: drive again. I looked up online and saw that I needed to change my local storage location, and did so by changing "Storage location for the originals:" to my F: drive. It restarted Lightroom but still is giving me an error saying my "C:" drive is full and to changer my local storage setting... Which I just did becuase I knew the "C:" couldn't handle all of the required space...  Can someone assist me with understanding why Lightroom continues to reference a Drive which it IS NOT installed on and why does chan

iPad Pro 18.1 Lightroom Mobile 10.0.1 Lightroom Mobile is always stuck syncing 1 photo. There is no way to filter by sync status on mobile, so I'm not sure how to sus out which photo it is.  To be specific, there is always one photo "Uploading" and one photo "Storing Album Locally". My Lightroom Mobile is never "Synced and Backed Up" there are no problems in lightroom classic or lightroom cc desktop, nor are there any sync issues in lightroom web. 

Hi everyone! I deleted my library and i didnt know that all my saved preset from the commnunity will be deleted too. Now i lost my favorite preset of all time! i hope someone can help me find this preset - Desert outdoor Concert - Frank Smith. Tried looking Frank Smith in the Community but can't find one.  Please help guys! Thank youuuu  

Hi,  When I edit an image, the image is clean in details view but when I get back in grid view all images I have edited are blurry.   Lighroom ver 8.1 in Local mode

Everytime I detect a subject now when masking in Lightroom it applies a subject from a photo I edited a while ago. Anyone know how to fix this? here's a picture for reference  

The Lockscreen widget for Lightroom in iOS is missing. It's not an option any more in the list of available widgets.

Hi all, I'm trying to sort out a new workflow, and I'm considering using the Lightroom app on my iphone -- though I mostly use Lightroom Classic on my mac (with RAW photos from a Sony). I thought I could capture full-res DNGs on the iphone with Lightroom's iphone app -- but from what I've read, the DNGs captured this way are not full res? Is that correct?

First of all hello. I am new to photography and the latest update for instigram looks good but I have a problem. I am using the latest version of Lr and my device is poco X6 pro. When I turn on hdr mode in the app, it says it does not support it. On the official site of the phone it says that hdr mode is available, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Hello, when I import video file from camera roll it's changing the colors/lighting/brightness and presets doesn't looks like it's supposed to be. Please help to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance 

In Lightroom CC I would like to be able to enter keywords and other metadata to multiple photos such as location, person in photo, date photo taken ect.  I am able to do it very easily in Lightroom Classic but not in Lightroom CC. Any ideas? Can it be done? Thanks

Just started using Lightroom after a few years away and I'm running into a major issue on my primary editing machine. No issues on Mac OS (MacBook Pro) or iPad/iPhone, but whenever I load up Lightroom on my Windows computer, there is a constant flicker/pulse in the dark areas of the screen (constant), and when switching images in the library. It's similar to a PWM flicker if I had to describe it, but only in certain areas of the app. Navigating in the app also feels really slow/lagged. I'm certain it has something to do with GPU/hardware acceleration, but all changes to those settings and/or drivers make zero difference. I have tried the following:disabled GPU accelerationreenabled GPU accelerationrebootedinstalled all Windows updatesrolled back the current Nvidia driverswitched to the Nvidia studio driverperformed a clean install of Lightroom Nothing has made any difference. You have removed the option to quickly scroll from bottom to top by hold your finger on the scroller to the right (iOS) Please bring back! It takes forever to scroll through hundreds/thousands of pictures. Why have you recently removed a a lot of useable options?/Richard 

Using Local, I am getting a "Folder Not Found" error each time after closing down Lightroom if the Local destination folder is on iCloud Drive. I can edit the files just fine and they are all offline, but after closing Lightroom and reopening it, it claims the folders are not found. This also means that a folder on iCloud cannot be marked Favorite as LR just deletes the shortcut under Local after the "Folder Not Found" message.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Either I'm missing something (more likely) or these features are bugged (probably not). Firstly, I'll be using some example screenshots here that serve the purpose of isolating the behavior I'm referring to to an extreme degree that obviously wouldn't ever be used in normal use. Just putting this here to avoid "but why would you do that" kinds of responses. I've set the tone curve as such: To my understanding, this should (approximately) render a point near 50% luminosity as pure white and everything else as pure black (with a steep curve on both sides). And it appears to have done so. I only do this to make it obvious what the tone curve seems to think 50% is. However, when I then go and make a luminance mask, targeting a range around 50% highlights a completely different area: In fact, to highlight that same area, I need to instead focus on a range that centers somewhere around 70%: So what am I missing here?

Hi folks - I'm new to photo editing. My biggest challenge right now is effectively removing people or objects from backgrounds. I've tried generative AI remove, heal, and clone. Heal and clone work the best, but it's proved to be impossible in some cases to find the exact shade to replace the area. Even when using heal to remove a cord from a plain white wall, there's a slight difference in the shade of the white from the wall depending on how the sunlight or light hit the wall. Any tips? Am I doing something wrong? I'm using Lightroom 8.0. Many thanks!

I'm extremely frustrated with this. I recently bought some presets and it will not allow me to import them. It says that they're either invalid or duplicated but they are most definitely not duplicates. They are .dng files. I have tried all the methods from the most complicated (using izip and dropbox) to simply tapping "import presets" in the preset settings.  Is there anything I can do?

The 2nd generation Apple TV remote does not make the AppleTV Lightroom Menu visible. Pressing once or many times or Press and Hold on the back-button (no menu key anymore) makes it go back to the Apple TV start screen.Other AppleTV apps just use the up-arrow key on the clickpad (one or more clicks)  to move to the menu, on the top row to make this visible.The rest is working fine!Hope this can be solved in a future update.Thanks, Lex from The Netherlands
