Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Just had to get a replacement Samsung Galaxy 21 ultra because there was an error on my old one. Transferred everything over with no issues. But when I went into my Lightroom app, all my custom presets were GONE!!! I need those for my business! I tried to use a previously edited photo, that used my go-to custom preset, and save it as a new preset, but it didn't seem to change anything on a new random photo.  Help?!?! If you know a way to get/find/save my preset information from photos I'd already edited and are saved on the app, please share?? Just be sure to make instructions simple and straight forward, as I'm not very good with technical stuff. Makes losing my perfect preset even harder.

In my local computer ( Laptop ) i have set multiple folders with different naming as ALBUM . I need to upload all these - the way i have in my local computer - to Lightroom Cloud. so that i can all the folders-subfolders-photo in my "cloud" too. Is this possible or how is there any workaround to make this possible.  KINDLY check the screenshot . I have Adobe Lightroom version 8.1 working in Mac Sonoma 14.5 . Why is it that when I export an image from lightroom mobile it can be a relatively large (10-25mb) file, but if I add a border it's around 1mb or less for the same exact file? why can I not export a photo with a border and have it remain the same file size? additionally, there is no option in my lightroom on desktop to add a border. I have seen online options for a stroke border or developer settings, but these do not exist in my lightroom and do not show up in searches? 

When editing a photo in lightroom, switching between Edit Mode and Mask Mode the image very visibily changes. Color profile completely changes, making me unclear about what part of the editing process i am currently in and Removes the trust I have in the exported file. I have a screen recording of this, but considering the size limitations on uploading a file here, i cannot supply this video.

Hi, I recently got myself an Ipad Pro and am trying to set-up a proper workflow for my lightroom classic to the lightroom app. I have enable the sync functions, which makes me have control in the app over my already edited photo's from Lightroom Classic. I understand that when I open these photo's in the app these will show as Smart-Previews. But I would like to edit on Originals if possible. I also would like to export higher quality of files and not exports based on smart previews. I was wondering if it is possible, when I connect my SSD with the stored RAW files to the ipad, for the lightroom app to now show the Originals. I would like to acces all my previous and new edits in Original quality on the Ipad while also being able to export these images to the highest quality / original quality on the ipad. Hopefully my question is clear, Thank you 🙂

HiI  have Lightroom plan with 1TB storage for which I pay £9.98 a month, I'm in the UK.  I use exclusively an iPad and iPhone no desktop or laptop.Forgive my somewhat Luddite ignorance but my understanding is that the original full resolution photo is kept in the cloud and a lower resolution version is stored on the device.  Changes are made to the lower version and sent to the cloud where the the same changes are made to the full resolution version.  I get all that.  I think.Im a retired photographer and as I get on in years I'm troubled that I don't have an original full version of these pictures in my physical possession.  The process of downloading to my iPad or iPhone seems laborious and time consuming.  If I go to an album select>share>export I can only send about 20mg of pictures to the device.  With 8000 photos I'll probably be dead before I finish which defeats the reason for doing it.I conceded being uninterested in computers is w

I just upgraded to the free trial for Lightroom IPad. They premium tools are grayed out. I have signed in and out of the app, restarted my iPad and still do not have access to premium tools as they remain grayed out. It shows that I am subscribed and I am using the same email as here to sign in. Please help this is very very frustrating !

Hi everyone! I am new to lightroom and trying to add/download new presets. In the header of the program, it used to be options for library, develop, map, book, slideshow, print and web, but it´s all gone and I can't find a way to get it back. My photo was deleted by myself, but I don't have a photo, please help me.

I am a watercolor artist.  When I paint I use a very white paper.  I shoot images raw, then adjust white balance and make slight adjustments so the background is, in fact, white.   Then I import to portfolio for my webpage and the background, which was white in Adobe Lightroom 8.1, has a dirty yellow cast to it.  This seems to happen consistently.  I have adjusted the image and replace it in Portfolio to no avail.  This is very disconcerting as I base sales on the webpage and it subtantially affects this.

I have 2 concerns. One, I downloaded photos into the wrong album. I deleted that album, now it will not let me download any of the photos because they are already marked as downloaded into lightroom. The second issue is similar. I downloaded a large amount of photos into 1 album and meant to do it into several albums. The originals from the SD card have been deleted. Can they be moved into a different album? Thank you for all suggestions, in advance.

After restarting computer, the Starred section of Lightroom shows local folders but has forgotten any folders that were starred on Google Drive local folders (using Google Drive for desktop).Adobe Lightroom 8.1Windows 10 Home 22H2

When I select the Object mask (shortcut s): it switches to magnifying cursor and won't select objects. I've tried restarting and un/reinstalling Lightroom, but it's still happening. How do I fix this?

Bonjour, Je viens de passer de Lightroom mobile version premium à LR+LRC.Dans Lightroom mobile, tous mes paramètres prédéfinis sont bien présents mais ils ne se synchronisent pas dans LR et dans LRC.La synchronisation des photos est toujours en cours, est ce que les presets apparaissent après ?Dois faire une manipulation pour qu'ils apparaissent ?Merci d'avance de votre aide.

Using Lightroom on Desktop I used the export with custom settings, small (248px) JPEG with custom naming and numbers.Pic folder, the export starts with the first picture. Saved the picture then the export crashes. Tried with 241 picures and with 51 and 49. With 49 pictures it seems to work. But super slow and kinda annyoing that it wont work with more than 49. 

Is it all possible to change the layout of the sidebar?  I would like to have some limited info and the tags displayed at the same time.  I can't find a way and wonder if any of you clever people out there know of a way? Thanks

Help please!I’m working mostly with RAW files and have noticed the thumbnails for some albums aren’t displayed at all! This makes using the app virtually impossible.I’ve tried downloading the album to cache locally but that doesn’t get the thumbnails back.My app’s also stuck at pending sync and seems to get nowhere even when left overnight, though the % has crept up from 9% to 30% I still have 368 photos pending    Anyway that’s an issue for another thread. The missing thumbs is the main problem.I can’t really afford to re-install the app as I’m travelling in New Zealand and the internet is slow and $$$ so re-syncing from the cloud would be painful.Thanks in advance  

Hello,In LR this morning I developed a shot and included HDR, an available option.  However, when I sent the finished product to photoshop, it comes through as a TIFF, but when I try to save a copy in JPEG, photoshop no longer gives me the JPEG option.  I have to save the shot as a small file for my website, but I can't find a way to do this.  Is there a way to convert or save a copy as a JPEG some other way? Thank you,Erin

I’m new to Lr and find that when I export to my iPhone the photos look blown out.
