Hey, just updated Lightroom Mobile on my Samsung S21+ and immediately got a problem. After editing my photos I'm usually exporting them to other editing apps (e.g. Polar) because I like adding white borders to my work (and it's not possible in lightroom yet). It's not possible for me to export my photos directly to polar anymore. Have you guys removed the links to other editing software? Or is it just a bug? {Thread title updated by moderator}
Lightroom Desktop 5.4 running on Windows 10 PRo Steps to reproduce:- While editing an image, open the Geometry panel and select the Rotate slider. Note that the grid overlay no longer appears on the image, making it difficult to ensure lines in the image are vertical or horizontal. Same applies to the Horizontal and Vertical adjustments. For Rotate a workaround is to use the Crop tool instead (grid works OK).
1. Lightroom version v. 7.4.1 730D5A/46 2. iPad Pro 11 2018; iPadOS version: 15.5 3. Reproduce Steps: import photos from Camera to an album; after importing, click view in the pop up dialogue , then Lightroom stucks in the album view without the left nav bar to switch albums. Restart or update the Lightroom doesn't solve this issue. 4. Expect left nav bar is still there; Actual no left nav bar. See attached photo for the problematic UI. please help as this is blocking my postedit workflow.
My Lightroom mobile keeps crashing when I try to use the new mask select features on any raw images. Is this happening to anybody else?? I have the iphone 8
Since the latest update to 5.2 Lightroom CC just keeps crashing every time that I open it. It won't load my previously synced albums and if it works only does for a minute or two before a crash report pops up
Issue: Videos shot on iPhone 12 Pro Max with "HDR Video" ON cannot sync to LR Cloud and other synced devices with manually imported Lightroom Version Number: LR CC 5.1 (Build 20211204-1710-0e71941) on macOS 12.1; LR v7.1.1 on iOS and iPadOS 15.3 OS Version Number: See above (macOS, iOS and iPadOS) Steps to reproduce: On an iPhone 12 Pro Max, go to Phone Settings -> Camera -> Record Video. iPhone 8 iOS - 14.4.2 - Lightroom Mobile I have had a recurring issue for multiple recent versions of the app with SD->Lightning raw imports on LR Mobile failing to complete. For example have 100 photos to import. Plug in, 8 photos import, error message saying the rest could not be completed. Sometimes I have to do this 5-6+ times just to get the 100 into the app. This is probably a 9/10 times occurrence for me. I have gotten a new Apple adapter as well as a new iPhone 8 under my Apple Care and they insist it is this app and will not replace any more hardware for this issue. This has been my go to workflow for almost two years now but the last 6 months have been infuriating. Please help!
I tried to download original video files (15 in total) using the Adobe Lightroom Downloader or the Website (lightroom.adobe.com) and they always fail at exactly the same point (1.09GB out of "insert size here" GB) stating a network error. I tried for 7+ times and always the same issue at the same point in the download. One video did finish downloading as expected, but any other video which is larger than 1.09GB fails. I am running macOS Montery with Safari on a MacBook Pro M1 (16GB RAM) for web access. Any suggestions? Thank you and best regards, Daniel Hartl-Riesel
Hi! I am a software developer. Recently, my Lightroom CC (version 4.2 - 20210301-0713) is very slow . A close look at activity monitor reveals that the app consumes too many threads and memory (attached photos) which freezes the app. @Rikk Can you help me forward this to the development team? Thank you so much!
I'm using Lightroom CC Cloud 5.3 on MacOS and I am having problems with undo function and flags. If I flag an image (pick or reject) and I want to undo the last action, I press CMD+Z (or the menu entry) and a blue popup is displayed highlighting that the last flag action has been reverted, but actually nothing happens, all the flags are the same as before. This does not happen during photo editing, where all the actions are correctly taken back with undo. Is this a bug or an intended behavior? Thanks
With Lr CC 4.3, several videos with file sizes over 1 GB will not download/sync locally on my Mac. Unfortunately, this makes a "cloud first" approach impossible for me. I first upload anything into Lr Cloud and download it later to my local backup drive via my Mac. Is anyone else experiencing sync issues with large files? One hint: I was able to sync large files while at work (150mbit/s+), but it does not work at home (30 mbit/s). Maybe a timeout issue?
After upgrading to Lightroom Desktop 4.0 (Cloud), all my synced folders are gone. Online version and iOS app versions are both working normally, so why is the Desktop cloud version failing to sync?
When viewing photos in Grid view the count of photos is inconsistent. I expect it to say: <number of photos selected> of <total photos shown> (<number of photos filtered> filtered) However after filtering for unflagged photos, and then setting some photos to rejected I lose the first part. I also have had it where after multiselecting it shows the incorrect number of photos. I can fix it by removing the filters and starting again. Lightroom v4.1 - build 20201120-1311-17d302b
Roland
I have an issue when downloading a CR3 file with the "Lightroom for Web" on a Windows PC. I run Windows 10. When the file is downloaded it has lost its extension. For example file XXX.CR3 will only be XXX. Other file types like JPG works fine.
Hi! I am using the Lightroom app on my iPhone to take photos. I usually like taking them in the professional mode. I recently encountered an issue when I am taking photos at night using flash, when I set the focus myself, it will change on its own like it's in auto mode, and usually not to where I would set the focus myself lol. is there any way to make this stop happening or what's going on? I love the app a lot and this has been my only issue. thanks!!
Windows 11, RTX3080, intel i7.I've reinstalled Lightroom and deleted the cache, to no avail. Any idéas? (Works fine on my other computer, Surface Pro 7, Windows 10.)See the screen recording: (this depicts the crash at a much slower speed, possible due to recording 4K screen.)https://1drv.ms/v/s!AkUfVfS9fxHTiaw5vADJ4u2ave7Usg?e=lXaTbC(Same file as attached.)
If you export images at a lower resolution around 1400px long edge or below, noise reduction is not applied to exported images. The bug never occurs if the images are exported using the setting "export larges resolution possible". It is identically to the issue on IOS: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-mobile-cc-noise-reduction-when-expo... I am using a Samsung GalaxyS8 (Exynos Version) with Android 9 Lightroom Version is 5.4 (Noticed bug on 5.2 for the first time)
Hi, Since 5.2 update, keyboard shortcuts (left/right/space) are unresponsive when importing photos to Lightroom. I've tried everything and nothing worked. I've downgraded to 5.1 via Creative Cloud and keyboard started working again. Hope this helps to be able to fix it in upcoming versions. MacBook Air (M1, 2020) MacOS: 12.2.1 (21D62)
An 'Edited' attribute is set when any type of edit is made to an image which then means it is easy to quickly filter for edited images, but once you've edited a photo there appears to be no way to reset it. I've tried all the reset options in the ios version of LrCC and also on the desktop version (restore to original). It doesn't matter what I try the image still has the edit attribute set. Hopefully this can be fixed.
Hi together, I have switched from a Huawei P30 to a Huawei P40 Pro. Problem: When importing the phones RAW files into Lightroom mobile, the images have a tint (Tönung) of +150. If I set this manually to 0 the whole image gets green... Same behaviour if I import the phones RAWs on my desktop with Lightroom Classic. Is there any solution for this issue? My Lightroom mobile version: 6.0 Regarding this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/de/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html the P40 Pro cameras are supported. But for me it doesn't work so far. Best, Niko
I'm using the latest Lightroom CC 2.1.1. On my MacBook Pro 2018 running Mojave (latest), when running Lightroom CC it constantly displays "No network connection" and the cloud icon has an X through it. Sometime it will start working for a short period and then disconnect again. When using Lightroom CC Classic I have no issues connecting from the same laptop. I tried different WIFI networks and all have the same behavior, so I don't think it's something specific with the Internet connection. My iPhone and iPad both running LR CC can connect just fine on the same network. I'm able to access Lightroom web using Safari without issues and checked the SSL certificates on my laptop. I have both IPv4 and IPv6 setup on my home network. Is it possible to find out more information to get some error message to why it is unable to connect? I'm located in the US (no country-based
I'm on an iPad Air running iOS 15 and the most recent version of Lightroom as of posting. When I'm in landscape view on the iPad and go to the share sheet to share a photo to Instagram, I can type in the message box, but then the OK and Share buttons don't work unless I switch the iPad to portrait view.
The Adobe Lightroom Downloader installer (frankly I have no idea who came up with the naming for this, as it seems intentionally designed to be easily confused with Lightroom itself) insists my operating system is out of date. I'm running the latest version of Windows 10, just updated (not Windows 11, which is not supported for whatever reason). Funnily enough, the "read more" ticket offered in the error message opens Internet Explorer 11, a browser released _9 years ago_. Please update it. I do not understand why Adobe does not offer a competent way of downloading _my own files_ in bulk without relying on a standalone propietary app, and why that app has such stringent system requirements when all it does is download files from a server, but I need those files.
