Setting a Title for the web gallery actually changes the Album name, and doesn't put a title into the Web Gallery display. Share Settings -> Title ____ Whatever I put in here becomes the new name of the Album I'm sharing to the web.As you see here. It doesn't put the title I entered into the Web Gallery. It changes the Album name...This is the resulting web gallery title.Which means. I can't avoid this, I have to Select the images carefully that I want to share to the Web, then put them into their own (new) Album, and when it gets a title in Settings, it wil change that album name. Fine - except that it still doesn't set that album title to what I want. It stays as "Latest Images"So... Hola - there's something wrong. I need to be able to set the Web Gallery page title, without changing the Album name. For the interested... this is the link to the Experimental Web Gallery.https://lightroom.adobe.com/shares/4bfb7a11d1294e18a97edfb9d3af7921To recap. The Album is called
When I use Lightroom CC on windows in tablet mode, I can perfectly use the "swipe to rate"-function (swiping on the right side of the screen). However, as soon as I use the "swipe to flag"-function (by swiping on the left side of the screen), Lightroom stops working correctly, i.e. the "swipe to rate" is no longer working correctly and things on the screen are missing. Here is a screenshot of "before and after" to better explain my issue. After a restart of Lightroom, everything is fine again, until I try the "swipe to flag" again. Has anybody experienced a similar problem and could help me to fix this?Kind regards,Martin
Hi all,Just filing this as a bug - I couldn't see any other bugs reported on it.In the iOS app, when you upload a video (at least a video taken using the iPhone's camera and the default app), the default copyright string set in the app's settings is not added in.This is added in fine for images, and for videos imported using Lightroom CC on macOS.I've tested this on two completely different iPhone XS devices and the results are the same.Cheers,Nick
When editing pictures with lightroom app, I use a lot of selective edits. I save the picture to my camera roll on the iphone. I exit the lightroom program. Next time all of the metadata, or just the latest is deleted. Sometimes I just get the original picture and have to start all over again. I think maybe this is caused by me using more selective edits than is normal. Many pictures can be edited with no problem.
Bug using iOS and latest 4.10 version.Select a picture.Select resize.Tap auto-resize.Tap cancel. The picture turns to a big rectangle of a single color (mostly dark green or so). It cannot be recovered until you get back to browser tapping < key.
I’ve experienced this twice and I’m pretty sure that the low storage is the cause. After you finish shooting It shows a message to free up space. However once you do it, it seems they’re not recalled from the temp cache and are deleted forever 😞 I shot a panorama and only two images showed up in the album. The cloud icon says everything is synced. I’m 100% the pictures were taken. The processing batch showed 10 images needs to be developed before the low storage notification showed up.
When I open the Lightroom CC tvOS app on my Apple TV 4, I see all my albums, that's great, but when I go out of the app, and back in again, I see my albums duplicated ! If I go out, and in again, again I see an additional instance of them... and so on... Thank god it's not happening on the backend but only at the GUI level... So on all other CC apps, I don't see that.I'm running tvOS 12.1 and Lightroom CC is 1.2.2 (64).
This is something that happened to me sometimes already, the first times I thought that was me that was confused... I don't know if there is a workflow to reproduce the problem but sometimes, after editing a picture, when I return to the Lightroom the edits are not there at all, they disappear!I just noticed that this was not me getting confused because I have the edited photo saved on my camera roll and on Lightroom I don't have the edits, this is really frustrating!
When I save or export photos in LR or PS, they save but do not show up when I attempt to locate them in Finder. They do show up ONLY via "File" > "Open" in PS. I did find a temporary workaround - when I go to File > Open in PS, I can drag/drop the folder into "My Documents" and then back onto "Desktop" and they show up in the regular finder.Hard to explain, so I made a youtube video below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4owx1NUqLA
The new sharing tab is great but all my albums say there are 0 photos in all of them, yet the photos are there when I select an album. I'm also not able to resend the album to my web portfolio because Lightroom thinks they are empty. Is there a fix for this?
Correct colors don't load in Lightroom Mobile for my Android unless in Edit module. Photos load in "Info" and "Rate & Review" dull. When I switch to edit module the loading circle appears and the colors will load correctly. Comparing to my capibrated computer monitor (and my desired look of the photo) I can confirm this). If I swipe to a new image and back the same thing will happen. Load dull at first then properly.Switching back to "Info" or "Rate & Review" after letting the colors load in the Edit module will keep the correct colors until I switch images. No matter what module I am in when changing images it will initially load with the wrong colors (then the correct ones if in Edit). When I load on a tablet it will open with the wrong colors first then load the correct ones. Tablets are always in Edit so I can't say if the same thing is happening other than swiping from one image and then back it has to reload the colors. Again this is comparing them with my monitor, phone a
After today's Lightroom update copy/paste settings from one image to another doesn't work correctly at my Lightroom. It just pastes some random settings, with always contrast minus 30 something. Color temperature - different as well. Some other settings such as curve copy fine. Checked copy preferences - all checkboxes are selected. Has anyone experienced same after updating?
When viewing an album, click in the search (Sensei) field, album name is automatically added, then I type in a year, 2009 for example, I select that year in the pop up suggestion menu, the year disappears and nothing happens. How do you search an album for a given year? It does work on iOS.
I've turned on the "store a copy locally" feature on, it download a copy of every photo to my NAS. I was connecting to my nas using the local IP address an them changed to use the local name. As soon as I've changed it, Lightroom thought that it had to move all the pictures from one location to another (wrong!) as it was a "new" destination. It moved all my 27k pictures except (or at least the app think is doesn't) 1723 photos. Now every time I start up the app it says that 1723 files are missing to move, I select to move them, and at the end, it says that wasn't able to move 1723 pictures.I've attached the screenshots.
Lightroom CC 2.1.1 can't sync from my desktop.I installed vers. 2.0.2 and it could sync. When update to vers. 2.1.1 it can still not sync.Tried several times, now I'm running version 2.0.2, in my opinion, it's a bug in version 2.1.1
I am in the Brush tool and have brushed some part of my image and configured sliders. When I right click one of the slider headings and choose "Reset all sliders" it used to work correctly, but starting with version 2.1 of Lightroom CC I get the following error:
A few days ago I was facing the problem I could not edit multiple pictures capture time (see here Lightroom CC: Ability to change EXIF capture date/time). In this topic (thanks to Victoria) I found that In Grid view Lightroom behaves somewhat different then in Film strip view. Everything seems to look the same, but once it affects all selected photos and once only one photo even with multiple selected. Here the Grid view has more capabilities than the same in Film strip view.Today I got another lesson. If I press Delete button on physical keyboard in Grid view, picture is being removed from an album. BUT if I do exact same thing in Film strip view I get those pictures permanently deleted and lost (trash functionality of course was not implemented yet). So this time the Film strip view is more powerful and has bigger consequences then Grid view, so it is exactly the opposite logic then in previous issue with editing capture time.I am switching from Grid to Filmstrip only becau
If I filter my photos for eg with "December 2017", I get 609 photos. If I go to the bottom left sort option and for instance select "capture date" suddenly my results are only 553 photos, If I select "reverse order" I now have 762 photos. Then I deselect "reverse order" and BOOM, look at this, now I have 559 results (not even consistent with the previous result that was 553)... And if I keep playing with the "reverse order" option, the results continue to be inconsistent for the same settings. Also the "results filtered" that should be the amount of photos I have (30k+) also changes with the same inconsistency.Lightroom, what the hell?!
When I import a preset, for example 'Sage - Less Orange.xmp', the name changes to some random hex code like this, '088bc661003c4c49aecf8a3609059ae0' in the Lightroom app itself. The new file is also called '088bc661003c4c49aecf8a3609059ae0.xmp' which I would expect. LR CC is up to date and I've tried restarting both Lightroom and my computer but nothing has changed. I can obviously just rename the preset in Lightroom but that's a pain when you've got quite a few.EDIT: See example below
Not a big deal but... what are phtoos?🙂
On some photos, when I crop with the aspect ratio 1:1, the files are not always 1:1 when exported. The picture I am testing on is exported with the resolution 3104x3105. This is a problem when another app requires a square image. This occurs on both Lightroom CC on windows, and on my android phone.
In August I imported a few hundred Raw images to LR CC mobile using my iPad Pro. They are synced to LR CC through Adobe Creative Cloud to my desktop on my Mac. I have applied edits to both the mobile and desktop versions. Currently I have no problem continuing to edit these images on my desktop LR CC, BUT when I try to go into LR CC mobile and do some edits I get Error T505 - Photo Failed to Load.
I discovered just now that several GPS data tags are not included in the EXIF data when taking photos with the Lightroom app on my iPhone. The missing EXIF tags include 'GPSAltitudeRef', 'GPSAltitude', 'GPSTimeStamp', 'GPSImgDirectionRef', 'GPSImgDirection' and 'GPSHPositioningError'. When taking photos with my phone's default camera app, these tags are included, but when taking photos with the Lightroom for iOS app, the tags are omitted. I hope this can be fixed soon.
Since the last Lightroom iOS app update, I am seeing some photos with rectangular artifacts on them, even after export them to the camera roll, or to a sharing app. The workaround is to zoom the picture as the artifact will disappear and then, export the photo.I’ve attached a screen shot of the app with one artifact
I think I have found a bug in the mobile app that can easily be recreated.Prerequisite : have at least 2 albums. To recreate the bug :- Album B must not be segmented .- Open album A and segment it (by year, month, day or hour it doesn't matter).- Open album B and sort by rating.- Open album A ---> app crashes.- To resolve the bug : go to album B and set the sorting anything other than rating. The explanation is simple. Segmentation is set per album. Sorting is set globally. So when I change the sorting to Rating, it also changes it for album A. Lightroom CC cannot sort an album by rating which is already segmented.-- Android 8.1.0Version 4.0
