Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I want to do a photo book (professional quality kind) for my partner's birthday. A selection of his best photos from the past almost decade.All of his most recent (so, his best) photos are accessible to me on the lightroom phone app and I thought I'd be able to just download the ones I want off of it with high quality. But they are definitely not downloading to the best quality for print (some of them are a mere 500ko or around 1 or 2 mo max). I think it's just downloading the preview. Do I need to sneak into his office when he's away and export them off of his desktop app like a spy? Or is there another way? 

I need to use Lightroom (8.4.2, Android) offline when traveling (too bad internet).After switching (swiping) to the next image or the one after that, the previews are blurred and you can no longer properly assess or enlarge the image. If you then select an image from the grid view, it is sharp again (the necessary data must be available). The effect only occurs offline, only in info or evalution mode, Edit mode is ok, but much slower. It occurs on my 2 Samsung devices, raw or jpg, locally imported files or files downloaded via cloud.Is this common or a special problem for me?

i'm using Lighroom Android v 8.4.2 on mobile (premium version). I can't anymore find those instructional videos made by community. In those videos maker of the video tells you why he/she made each edit. Then you do each edit by yourself. I watched them with this app in June. Have been taking quite a few continuous shots lately resulting in hundreds of photos and need a way to group them efficiently to review. How should I do this?

I am a Creative Cloud subscriber and would like to download a PC based program for Lightroom. I can only find an online version of Lightroom and I do not want to interact with a program in the Cloud.

I'm attending a workshop for Adobe Lightroom and am unable to sync my mobile device and my school issued computer. Any ideas?

I don't understand why, when I create masks in Lightroom for, let's say, subject and background, I cannot simply click the background mask and make a change, such as clarity, without having said effect applied to the entire photo.  I've created masks for the person and the background.  I then click the desired mask, and change the effects.  These effects apply to the entire photo, not to the mask itself.  Is there something I'm missing? 

Hi all, I have recently downloaded Lightroom to use it to edit my photos.   However, navigating around the software is extremely slow and laggy, to the point I'm getting extremely frustrated with it.   For example, loading up the image, and clicking on the menus on the left can take minutes to actually load and be able to adjust the picture.   It can't be a computer spec thing, as I have an i9 12900, 64gb ddr5 ram and a fast SSD.   Can someone please help if this is a known issue? or how to get it working properly?         {Title edited by Moderator}

Prior to today, while in Grid view, I would frequently use my keyboard to move among photos rapidly, occasionally hitting the Space key to go into the Detail view for a photo, then hitting Escape to return to the Grid view.    Unfortunately with v6.0, once in the Detail view, hitting Escape does nothing. I have to use my mouse and click on the "Square Grid" icon in the lower left corner. This slows down my workflow massively. 

How can one set the aspect ratio in order to print a 13x19 photo?

Just downloaded lightroom and cannot figure out how to activate the second display. All tutorials seem to go back to my old version 5 I know how to do there, but cannot find how here please help.

I am going to be working in a remote area with no internet connection. I want to import photos from my memory cards, cull and edit them, and then export the keepers to an SSD. Is this possible with Lightroom for iPad?

Hi! I have the Lightroom CC version 1.4 application. Every time I go to select the "presets" option on my images, Lightroom immediately crashes. I can do everything else on it except click "presets". This only started occurring yesterday when I updated the application!!   I have read some comments saying unblock "Graphic Processor", however, this still hasn't helped!Hopefully this all makes sense.Thanks in advance!

Hi! I am trying to add a Mask to my photo but having real issues trying to apply it 🫠   I have edited my photo in Lightroom Mobile on iOS and added a mask in the Maaking area, but when I click the tick in the bottom to apply it, it leaves the masking edit area and returns to the main edit screen without making the changes. I want to save my photo to my device with the masking changes but it won't let me and I have no idea how to do it - would someone be able to help advise on the right way?   thank you!     {Thread title updated by moderator}

Hey guys i currently have a school account that closes in a couple days but i just cant figure this one thing out. I have around 700 images edited and multiple presets and so what. I am trying to transfer all of these images to a private account, I tried contacting adobe but i cant only a school adminstrator but school staff has vacation right now so i have no alternative other than doing it myself.

My Internett provider is not offering email services after Sep. 1st. Because of this I have changed my primary email and logon in Adobe. Have purchased the one year plan with monthly payments (linked to my old address). When I log on to Adobe with my new email address, no products appear. How can I transfer my products from my old logon to the new one? Regards,| Leslie in dispair 

I'm new here so appreciate the advice.  I understand LR classic is local hard drive storage and Lightroom CC is cloud based.  I see the option in LR CC for storing orignials on local hard drive?  Does this mean I can keep my 4TB photos library on a local drive and use LR CC without needing to upgrade the cloud storage past standard 1TB?  The UI with LR classic vs LR CC is night and day different and would prefer Lightroom CC.

I;ve recently been updated to v8.4.1 on android and if I take a photo in the lightroom camera app, it doesn't show it in lightroom but if I take a photo with the android camera app it does Am I missing something?? Why isn't the lightroom camera saving the photos? This worked before in the previous version?

Im currently using the Apple 8.4.1 (had this problem with 8.4.0 too) version of Lightroom on my iPhone. A friend of mine showed me the "best photos" feature. However, I have not been able to use it at all due to the fact that every time I click to use it, I am met with, "You are offline. -Best photos currently only works when you're online." Which makes sense, however I am online. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be able to post this. I'm able to do everything else on my phone normally that requires Wi-Fi. I've tried using data, other local wifis around my city but no luck. I would love to use this feature but I am being blocked. Attached is what I see whenever I hit the best photos button. You can even see my connection in the top left there. 

Ao abrir o programa surge uma janela de relatório de erro do "Adobe Lightroom" dizendo: "A Adobe encontrou uma solução ou solução alternativa para o erro recente no Adobe Lightroom. Clique no link abaixo para obter mais detalhes." Mas o link "Clique aqui" não leva a lugar algum e ao fechar a janela o programa se fecha. Alguém sabe como posso proceder? 

Bonsoir a tous, J'ai un probleme que je n'arrive pas a résoudre. J'ai un forfait tout creative icloud de 100go, j'ai installer lightroom sur mon ordinateur portable qui fonctionne tres bien. Cependant j'ai voulu installé lightroom sur mon ipad, le téléchargement est ok mais une fois que j'ouvre l'application je suis tres tres restreints en outils et il me demande de payer pour tout débloquer, sauf que j'ai deja un abonnement.  Savez vous comment je peux résoudre ce probleme s'il vous plait ? 

Every time i want to export any image i just can´t change 240 to 300 or 72dpi.  The options just doesn´t appear in this version. All images are exported in 240!!!!!I refuse to believe that i have to make some kind of bridge using Photoshop to do this, considering that this is a so simple thing!  Anyone can help?

Do You know if there is an option of croping an image from center in LR on iPad?
