Hi, I've recently bought an ASUS ProArt P16, it has a 4K 16:10 monitor, and I also purchased a ProArt '27 monitor, but that one is 2K and 16:9; since the two different resolutions, I have Windows 11 set on the 4K one at 250%, and the other at 100%. The problem is that when I open Lightroom CC in one of the two monitors, and then move it to the other, the app doesn't scale the UI and everything either appears huge, or tiny, and I have to close and reopen the program in the same screen to have it scale properly, which is pretty annoying...
Of course, full support for scanned negatives will be lovely, including masks, dust and scratch removal, geometry enhancement, automatic rotation & cropping, and, why not, AI enhancements, etc. I also believe this option for scanned negatives will be a strong point for Adobe in supporting real photography and photographers, especially in the new AI era, where the future of photography is in a state of uncertainty.
I’m not sure if this is a LR or a PS question. When I attempt to export a photo to PS (v27.4.0) from LrC (v15.2) using the CMD E command I get an error message. On the LrC screen a small window opens with a PS on top, saying that a component is missing in Applications and the program should be reinstalled. I have done this but no help. I can manually open PS and use the File/open command. With PS already open, sometimes the CMD E command works and sometimes not. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks.
Lightroom and Photoshop needed to be updated and now I get this error when trying to open multiple photos from LR in PS
I have recently had to change my Google Password and the passkey I had for the email function now (of course) no longer works. I have tried all sorts of help listings but none of them seem to be upto date with the latest google information. It keeps showing ensure 2 step, then “signing in to google” “select app passwords” neither of which seem to exist in my versions. Any help please.
I’ve edited CR3 files in my lightroom classic (version 14.5.2) in the past, but now when I try importing them in, it says “Preview Unavailable For This File” and then when I hit import it says “the files seem to be unsupported or damaged”. The files are not damaged, they are working perfectly in my other programs. I also tried other files from a different SD card and got the same results, but I can see other CR3 files that I had already edited and imported in September (that were taken on the same SD card that I’m using just in the past). I can’t update my Lightroom Classic since my iMac is on Ventura 13.7.8. Why could I edit CR3 files in the past, but not anymore? What can I do to fix this? This is so frustrating that it’s worked in the past, but not anymore.
After Google KeyPass was enabled for authentication, all requests started to return 401/403 errors, and now it is impossible to save or download files.
I got onto the mobile app and all of my presets were gone and only showing "profiles". I logged onto the online version and they were still missing. Can anyone help?
Hi all. Hoping that someone here can help me restore my edits... I've been going through my travel photos and about 400 (.DNG) edits seem to be reverted.I recently downloaded Lightroom (9.1) on my Macbook Pro with the intention of going through and editing my ~1000 photos from a recent trip. The way I had been accessing my photos up until today had been going through this painful process of attempting to navigate to the folder (of which there are 6 in one larger umbrella folder), and often it would tell me that I didn't have permission to open it, and sometimes it would let me in. Every time that it would let me in, all my edits would be there. Every time I open the app, it starts with nothing open. Working off Local drive, not cloud. Now today I decided that I would fix this problem. With some internet searching I figured out how to give Lightroom all the access and permissions that it wanted. Who would have thought that this would fuck everything up? Now when I open the program, I can
Hello, I have downloaded the latest version of lightroom mobile onto a Samsung galaxy A56 and am trying to shoot RAW. However there is no option to toggle between dng and jpg on the camera shooting lightroom module, consequently the pictures are just jpgs. Can anyone suggest a fix?
Hi everyone,When I launch Lightroom, before it finishes loading, it crashes.I have looked up other answers people have gotten for the same issue but none of those answers have worked for me. I have a decent PC: AMD Ryzen 9, 16GB RAM, Nvidia 4070 Ti.Any thoughts on what I should do?Adobe Crash Report:<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE AdobeCrashReport SYSTEM "AdobeCrashReporter.dtd"><crashreport serviceVersion="29.0.0.202506270808_710830c" clientVersion="29.0.0.202506270808_710830c" applicationName="Adobe Lightroom" applicationVersion="9.1" build="20251204-1659-82a72fd" source="Windows-Client" crashType="n/a"><time year="2026" month="2" day="21" hour="9" minute="48" second="36" timeoffset="-300" timezone="Eastern Standard Time" crsessionduration="15"/><user guid="68a1c0e7-9a6f-4bdb-ae7c-973cc736f521"/><system platform="Windows 11 Home" osversion="11.0" osbuild="26200" applicationlanguage="en-us" userlanguage="en-US" oslanguage="en-US" ram="16297" machine="AM
I am getting fed up of all the niggling issues that I pay for so I’m shopping around.
A new update, more "significant improvements in performance," and Lightroom Cloud, after an hour of working on individual photos, can take up to five seconds to switch from Crop to Edit or Presets, and freezes for several seconds during the simplest operations.I'm working with Fujifilm RAW files, could that make a difference? Browsing files in Browser is very slow, slowing down the entire computer and using up to 100% of the CPU.i5 14600K, RAM 64GB, 2TB NVMe, 1TB SSD, RTX 3060 12GB.It's a scandal that this software doesn't run smoothly on such hardware. It's simply unbelievable. Are these people at Adobe even sane? Before someone ask - at this stage I've probably tried every possible setting of the program, performance, cache, etc. Today I moved the original RAW files to another SSD drive, no change, editing is a nightmare, everything is working slowly and freezing often for couple of sconds.Any plans to finally do something with PC version?
I have turned on use graphics processor, I have tried to delete the camera raw cache, my windows ARM computer still uses CPU instead of the GPU or NPU resulting in incredibly long AI denoise times, is there any fix or expected update where this might be addressed,
When creating a Smart Album in LrD with multiple criteria, matching "All" criteria is the only option, with no option for "Any" criteria. When looking at the online help, this is one of the steps listed to create a Smart Album:“Choose whether to match all or any of the criteria.”
When creating a Smart Album, the only boolean operator when using different search rules is AND. Other options typically available for computer searches are OR and NOT. This is what I would like from a smart album in LrD:People = John DoeORKeyword = John Doe However, this is the only option available now:People = John DoeANDKeyword = John Doe Attached is a screenshot showing AND being the only way to create a Smart Album when there is more than one rule.
this is available on desktop, should be pretty easy to add for iPad. the big reason to use LR and PS is the easy integration, we desperately need this in LR iPadOS
There’s a glitch in the lightroom when exporting photos where AI update is required. Long story short I have been fixing some photos with AI tools (removing people) and now when I want to export photos I get a message that AI update is required for some photos. If I select the checkbox and press ‘export’ nothing happens. I tried restarting lightroom and my Macbook but problem wasn’t resolved. if I try to export photos without AI update then export I can export photos immediately without any issues.

Under “Distraction Removal,” the desktop version of Lightroom has automatic detection of dust spots (and other things, but that’s not why I’m writing in):This is an extremely useful time-saving feature.Unfortunately I do most of my editing on the go on an iPad Pro and these edits don’t transfer over to your photos when you view them on the iPad version of Lightroom. You’re invited to “update AI edits,” where the app tells you essentially that there’s a version mismatch between the canonical photo (w/ dust removed) and the one your iPad can load (because it doesn’t support dust removal), and tells you your only choice is to take away the dust removal:This is really bad for users and not how cloud software should work. My iPad has an M4 in it; it’s more powerful in performance terms than my desktop computer. At a minimum you should allow read-only loading of dust removal on the iPad. Please implement this on the iPad!
When I edit a text watermarks the preview brightness is much lighter than the actual brightness in the image file. I have to re-edit the watermark, and guess how much to reduce the brightness to achieve the desired brightness in the image file.
Hello Adobe Team! I´m the Chairman of FREELENS, a professional association for photographers in Germany with over 2000 members. We are currently dealing with the question of how we can protect our photos from being used as training material for AI image generators without authorisation. In Europe, this requires a machine-readable objection. The IPTC organisation has created a standard for this in the metadata:https://iptc.org/news/exclude-images-from-generative-ai-iptc-photo-metadata-standard-2023-1/There is therefore a "Data Mining" field in the metadata according to the IPTC standard with which you can object to data mining. However, this field cannot be filled out in either Lightroom or Photoshop; I have already been in contact with the support team about this.I would ask you to set this up as quickly as possible, as it is very important for us to be able to object in a legally secure manner. It would also be very helpful if we could talk about these issues and you could give me t
