Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Thank you for answering @Sameer K.   Sorry for the misunderstanding but my problem is on Lightroom CC not on Lightroom Classic. I didn't find the related board to Lightroom CC and as my problem was similar to the one mentionned in the subject, I did answer directly to your post.   When I'm launching Lightroom, I have the "loading box" and when I'm getting on the Lightroom's menu, it's crashing.   I'm using Windows 10 and it's my personnal computer.

Hello,I usually elopement files in LR, select those to edit in PS, open in PS (via LR) then hit "save" and the files are saved back to LR. Now I am getting a msg that it is not possible to do this and the file is saved as a Psdc file (and I have no idea where it went). I need it back in LR so I have all files together. Can anyone help?also, does Adobe have a help service? I can't find it

I am an android developer. I am working on a camera application that captures raw image. I want to navigate directly to the editing page of lightroom application when clicking on the captured image.Is there any way i can acheive this? Is there an activity i can launch via intent with the DNG file URI as extra? If not, will it be possible for LRMobile to expose the edit activity and take and image URI as an extra in the intent and open that image for editing?Please help me in this regard.Thanks!

Cloud storage is great, but as raw files increase in size it would be great to be able to buy more than just 1TB space.

Here goesAll I want is to have my original jpgs uploaded from lightroom classic to lightroom (cloud). That's it! I have this set up but all it loads are smart previews. I can't seem to do this. I don't care about size, bandwidth or space. I have plenty of all, inc TB purchased from adobe. All I want is to upload the original files in lightroom classic to the lightroom in the cloud. So a 8mb jpg on my lightroom classic means I shoudl be able to download that EXACT same file from any computer if I log in to lightroom cloud. Please dont' send me on a wild goose chase of forums, ect ect.... I just want this simple task. If it can't be done please let me know Thanking you all in advance!!

Is it possible to buy more than 100 gb of storage? I have a few albums that show as "empty" from the shareable link and I believe it bc my storage is full.  Is there a way to get more storage or fix that issue?         {Title edited by Moderator}

Hi, I bought the monthly Lightroom subscription through Apple's AppStore and also received a confirmation email. However, despite a good internet connection, I get the error "SERVER_ERROR_DUP". I restarted the computer, logged out and logged in again, and reinstalled lightroom. How can I solve the problem?    

I'm using Lightroom for  iOS and import video from gallery to LR and export it back to gallery, the video date is set to the date of export, not the original date of the video. There is no such problem for photos. Is there a way to fix it for videos?   Thanks in advance

Tengo un conjunto de albunes que manejo en clasic y decidi sincronizarlos, al inicio me aparecian en ligtroom en la nube pero nunca paro de sincronizar 95 fotos, cuando intente publicar los albunes en portafolio no los sincronizaba completos y tampoco todos los albunes a pesar de que ya salian sincreonizados (esto sin dejar de sincronizar las 95 fotos que hasta ahora no se an sincronizado y tampoco deja ver cuales son) posteriormente decidi eliminar todas las fotos de mi lightroom por que tengo copia en el catalago de lightroom clasic, al eliminar todo absolutamente todo me sigue apareciendo en sincronizacion las 95  fotos que tampoco deja visualizar, y en adobe portafolio me aparecen los albunes ya completamente eliminados asta de la papelera. (añado las fotos de cada parte desde el album que quiero subir y el estado de lightroom )(me di cuenta que al cerrar y abrir el programa me salian otraves las fotos en la papelera por lo que las volvi a eliminar ) estoy usando la

Currently, I export images to jpg for posting on websites and during the export process, I add a copyright as a watermark. When I share a Lr album in Portfolio, the images naturally dont show any copyrights. Is there a way to add copyrights to images in Portfolio?

The last several versions of Lightroom 6.4, 6.3, and 6.2 have been really unstable for me. In particular, it crashes almost every time I try to do subject/person detect. The problem is more pronounced when I am running other apps like premiere pro. It is also worse if I am "fast" with Lightroom, as in moving from one thing to another quickly. It's like it can't keep up.  I am on Windows 11, running an i7 and 64gb of ddr5 ram. Not overclocked.  The stability issues also show up a bit in Lightroom Classic, but not to the same degree. These performance issues also correspond to my installing the Photoshop Beta with generative AI. I have uninstalled it, and the problem persisted, however. 

It would be very helpful if I could edit metadata, rate, cull, search, etc. photos on a shared collection with different accounts. I work at a church and we have a church owned account that uploads the photos then 2-3 other individuals who may rate, add keywords, edit, and export these photos to our website, social media, or just to share. It would be much easier if any team member could serve as a collection 'owner' and have the same permissions as the owner of the collection to edit metadata, etc. Currently it is very difficult to use Lightroom to find old photos when we are unable to remotely keyword or search the photo library.

SO MANY GLITCHES LATELY SINCE THE NEW UPDATE! Errors all over the place when saving photos, they dont download and I have to look at the list and go back to re-save each one. Also some photos will show a complely different-terribly edited-rotated version of another photo. Why?? I just spent 8 hours trying to save a completed gallery and making sure no photo was missing or messed up.    1. Version 6.4 of Lightroom from the Mac App Store  2. Mac Laptop year 2020 3. Select a group of photos to export,  whether its a group of 8 or 20 or the whole gallery. Click Export Jpeg Large and then you will get the error in the end. 4. I expect to save all photos as a whole group and for them to save no problem. But instead I get a list of errors once the export process is complete.        

Recently I moved my entire lightroom library to my external hard drive. My Drive corrupted a few days ago. Now when I open Lightroom on my laptop I can see low res versions of all my photos but there is no original source to restore them. I filtered by "error" syncing and most of my photos show up here. Is there a way to access the originals without the original hard drive ?  

Within Adobe Support Community, I don't see Adobe Portfolio as one of the products. Am I missing something? If so, where can I find it? If not, what is the best forum to submit questions on Portfolio?

Hello, I'm facing a performance issue with Lightroom CC 6.4 on my Mac Pro. The specs of my machine include the latest M2 Ultra Processor, ProDisplay XDR, 192GB RAM, 8TB NVME, and a 76-core GPU. Despite these high-end specs, I'm dealing with really poor scrolling in Lightroom - it's slow, jerky, and at times practically unusable, especially with larger photo libraries. I've even tried reformatting my Mac, but it didn't solve the problem. Please take a look at this video:https://youtu.be/IhdiEY6ZrhY This issue seems exclusive to Lightroom. When I tested the Apple Photos app with a much larger library, scrolling was fast, instant, and smooth. Moreover, basic operations in Lightroom feel cumbersome and take more time than they should, considering the hardware. These problems are seriously affecting my workflow and user experience. Any tips, updates, or workarounds from Adobe or other users would be greatly appreciated. Or perhaps filing a bug report.

When I drag the Linear Gradient in Masking, the lines are there, but as soon as I let go, they are gone!  I read that others had the same problem but it referred to Lightroom Classic and also read something about pressing the "H" (don't recall what that was about).  In any event, I want to be able to see the lines and pin(s) when I drag the gradient across an image.    The attached image shows what mine DOES NOT do.   Thank you!   Diane K.   [Subject changed from "Photoshop" to "Lightroom", as later posts clarified that the question is about LR.] [Moved to LR]      

The behavior is strange when the display magnification is set to 50% or less.   200％→click image→Fit→click image→200％　（no problem） 200％→50％→click image→Fit→click image→200％　（problem）   Display magnification is not fixed when set to less than 100%.
