P: Cannot Send Files from Lightroom to Photoshop on Surface Laptop 7 (ARM)
Issue
When I use the "Edit in Photoshop" command from Lightroom, Photoshop launches as expected, but then I receive the following error message:
"Could not open Photoshop"The file never opens in Photoshop.
My Setup
Device: Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th edition (ARM/Snapdragon X Elite)
Operating System: Windows 11 Home/Pro ARM64 (latest version)
Photoshop: Latest version from Creative Cloud (ARM version)
Lightroom: Latest version (cloud version, not Classic)
Creative Cloud: Up to date and signed in
What I Have Tried
Photoshop and Lightroom are both up to date.
Creative Cloud is up to date and I’m properly signed in.
I’ve logged out/in, reinstalled the apps, and restarted the computer.
I’ve tested exporting images as TIFF/PSD from Lightroom and manually opening them in Photoshop – this works.
I've checked that both apps have full file/document access in Windows privacy settings.
