Why can't I import folders into Lightroom, I have 5 photoshoots, all separated by folders

I want them to import into the same organizational structureWhy can't I check the box, include subfolders, where is this check box?Why would it dump all of them into one folder?

Masking tools stopped working

HiSome of my masking tools have suddenly stopped working.  I've searched the previous posts and done as suggested, but still have the problem.  At the moment, the brush tool no longer works at all; it worked fine until a few days ago.   I'm on the latest version of Lightroom, Version 9.0.  I've downloaded & installed the latest update to the graphics card.   Would anyone know how to fix this?thank you in advance!

Photos Rotating when viewed full screen

HiMy "portrait aspect ratio" pictures on my Lightroom Mobile iPhone 17PRO Max rotate to landscape when viewed full screen. I think it mostly does that for RAW files. See enclosed screen capture video to see what I am talking about. it's been doing this for a while. I assumed that it was a known bug that pick be fixed but the last update didn't fix it. is this a known issue?

Batch time/date edit potential bug

Lightroom Version 9.0 Mac App StoreMac OS 26.1 When performing a batch date/time edit (After I forgot to reset my camera's time following DST ending) When selecting all desired photos to edit the time, and choosing to sort by oldest to newest capture date (reverse of default) The photo displayed in the pop up dialog and the time of the photo do NOT match. The wrong (oldest) photo is shown, but with the time and date from the newest photo. This causes some confusion, and makes it difficult to verify you are properly modifying the date and time, which reduces overall trust in the program. Screenshots attached. Thanks 🙂 -Paul

Saving Date Changes to Online Stored images

HiI have a question about date change. I am scanning old pictures that I import into the Lightroom cloud using Lightroom mobile. I then modify the date on my PC. Using Lightroom Classic, there is an option to save this modified metadata into the files themselves that are local. But the original files are on the cloud. Are these files updated? Or is the modified metadata only saved to the online catalog?Thank You

Why did I get 24 hr free Lightroom premium?

I don't remember entering payment information. I remember looking through the page for free trial and I don't know what happened but not long after the app just converted to a 24 hr free trial. I am afraid that I will be charged after. I am looking through my account and there is no indication of a trial so how do I have this 24 hr free?

The 4:3 aspect ratio is a well known one in the photography space and I would appreciate it if it was added to the preset rarios in the border customization or there was a custom ratio setting there so we could create our own.

I would like to be able to manually select a set of images and "Download 1:1 Previews" for them so when I travel and don't have internet, I can continue working off of them as full-res images and zoom in tighter to them.  My use case is that I don't need my entire catalog downloaded to my laptop, just a subset of them at a time as I am working on a large project and Cloud doesn't have the concept of multiple libraries. After I select this option, I would like them to stay until I manually remove them, and I would like them to automatically update if I edit them on a different device.  After I connect back to the internet, of course all changes sync back up to the cloud.  I would like this option for both Desktop and Mobile.  Thank you for making Lightroom better!

P: Upgrades to the Linear gradient in LrMOpen for Voting

I would really appreciate for the mobile version of Lightroom to have resizable linear gradient masks after placement and perspective linear gradient masks. The first one is easy to understand but for the second I’ll provide an explaination: you should be able to position a vanishing point where the outer and inner parts of the gradient will converge.

Where can I find my edit folders after purchasing the new Lightroom (premium) version?

I keep getting the error  0xc000007b Unable to start correctly when trying to open Lightroom Any ideas how to fix it? I've tried installing dxwebsetup and still doesnt work 

Ai masking improvement

Often when using the masking tool on Lightroom with dark scenes, it can struggle to really perfectly outline something pixel by pixel. I believe it may be beneficial to make the AI view the image in many different exposure settings and compile that data to really get accurate masking. I believe any buffer it would take longer, would be much less a pain than manually editing it lol.

I shoot mostly film of all kinds of formats and use both desktop scanners and camera scanners.  It would be lovely if Lightroom had a tool for batch cropping them, as the scanners all bring in unwanted borders.  I know like an algorithm could do this very easily (and some scanning software does this already).  I absolutely request that it does not use generative AI in any way to make up data in my images.  It should simply look for obvious straight(ish) lines around the outside either black, white, or film, and then crop and straghten the image for me, with the ability for me to adjust the crop further - all original image data should be retained.  This would save me hours and hours of time when I get back from a big shoot and smooth my editing process significantly.

Currently I see no way to manually correct for lens distortion, only select from cameras and lenses for digital cameras.  I shoot only film and often want to correct this manually.  Right now I have to just randomly select a camera/lens and hope it's close enough.

I use Lightroom Mobile on iOS to photograph and organise events at a retirement home. The People feature is very helpful, but it often misses clear faces (especially children or people at the edge of the frame), and on mobile there is no way to manually add a face or assign a person if Lightroom doesn’t detect it.   Please add a way on Lightroom Mobile to:   Manually add a missing face to a person in People view Correct / draw face regions like in Lightroom Classic     This would make People much more reliable and would save a lot of time when organising photos of residents, staff, and visitors.   Thanks for considering it.

Trouble syncing in Lightroom (NOT Classic)

I've been using Lightroom (NOT Classic, just Lr) for about a year and have never had any issues syncing to the cloud and creating albums. I paid for the 1TB data plan. I'm trying to sync about 300 images to the cloud right now and it's going more slowly than it's ever gone--usually it takes maybe 20 minutes, but I've been trying to sync for HOURS and progress is only incremental. I've restarted Lr, deleted images in my deleted folder, tested my internet speed, restarted my router, paused syncing, restarted syncing... nothing is making my sync any faster, and I'm going on hour five. What gives?

Bulk preset delete

Is there a way to bulk delete presets from Lr?The delete group option is grayed out for me so that is out. I have hundreds that I want to get rid of, dont really want to go one-by-one and do it.

Lightroom Mobile Goes to Top

I'm in mobile and working on a photo. I hit the back button and instead of going to where in my photos list I was working it just goes all the way to the top. This happens probably 8 out of 10 times. It's a terrible part of UI. Am I missing something or is this just how mobile is? Also any ideas why my sorting just changes from oldest up top to bottom seemingly at random?

superresolution lightroom doesn`t exist

hello, my mac os is sequoia, and lightroom is version 9,0. when i do the right click on the photo there is no superresolution or amelioration.  i don't know what to dothanks
