Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

 I’d like to suggest a feature enhancement for Lightroom Mobile that would make editing more efficient and precise. Currently, when using the “before/after” review feature, it only allows me to compare my current edit to the original imported version of the image. However, as edits become more layered and detailed, I often need to compare my most recent adjustment or filter to how the image looked just before that change, not all the way back to the original. A “quick toggle” or “recent change preview” option would make it easier to evaluate subtle differences and fine-tune edits more accurately without losing workflow momentum.This small addition would significantly improve usability for photographers who rely on incremental adjustments to achieve precise results.Thank you for considering this improvement — Lightroom Mobile is an outstanding tool, and this feature would make it even more intuitive for detailed editing work. 

Hi - I am having a really tough time with the generative remove feature and I have tried just about everything to try and resolve the issue. I feel like with the most recent update my generative remove got worse and more difficult to use. My first issue has been that when I remove something it removes the object but then leaves a shadow of the object I tried to remove even if there wasnt any shadows in the area - the other issue is that it is just generating transparent objects so pretty much leaving what I am trying to remove but with a low opacity so you can still see it there ? I attached a photo where I had tried to remove an object and when downloaded there is just a weird overlay on top and the shadows are there as if the object was there still? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Often when I want to export something, there are delays because Ai Updating is in process. There seems to not be a notification when Ai Updating is complete. I need to export photos for clients and personal work. Why does it take so long for Ai to update my photos for export and when can I expect some type of notification of when my photos are available for export with the Ai Updating?

Hi!I currently use Lightroom on my macbook and edit photos locally on the SSD. I recently got an ipad Pro m4, which I would like to actively integrate into my workflow and use for mobile photo editing.However, it is not practical to upload several 100gb to the cloud to edit them on the iPad. Is there no option to edit directly from the SSD on the iPad? Similar to how it works on the Macbook? Looking forward to your feedback!

I'm having a lot of crashing with Lightroom desktop (I'm on MacOS Sequoia beta 2 known issue I think), so I thought I'd so some editing using Lightroom Web. I can't get my presets to load. I can see the Recommended, but the Premium and Yours sections never load. I've seen this for a long time trying Lightroom Web on my ipad, I thought that was just an issue/limitation with iOS. Is this also a problem with Sequoia, or is something else going on? I've tried in Safari and Chrome.

I'm trying to get rid of a ladder in my background and it's saying I'm violating guidelines. Please make this program less sensitive if you plan to allow people to use it. This doesn't make sense.

It had been almost a year since I use Lightroom.  I started it up today and it forced me. to start a 7 day trial for Lightroom with 1TB and it is showing no photos or libraries.  How can I get this sorted out.  Thanks for the help.

Tested the new Batch Rename feature in Lightroom (V9). I created a custom template in Lightroom V9 Macbook but the template did not sync to my Lightroom Desktop (V9). Changes to filenames do sync but custom templates seem to be local to the app. Is this by design or a bug? Surely Custom Templates should be available to all devices supporting rename?

Hey! I used to have a SmugMug account but no longer use the service, so I switched to Adobe Portfolio. However, in Lightroom, I still have a SmugMug connection with an old album. But every time I try to delete it, it prompts me to log into the service I no longer have. I have tried high and low to remove this, no luck. Any ideas on what to do? Thank you! 

I am constantly having issues with not being able to open my photos I am editing in Photoshop directly from Lightroom.  It tries but then times out after about 5 minutes.  It seems to only work right once every ten times I try.  It doesn't matter if it's internally stored or in the cloud.  It is bcomig very time consuming.  Is this a software issue or pehaps something internal on my end?  I am working towards a better graphics card to improve the amount of time it takes to de-noise a photo.

Agradezco si me pueden brindar ayuda.Generalmente hago todas mis ediciones en lightroom mobile, pues me ha parecido practico y rapido, luego desde el pc exporto o hago el proceso de reduccion de ruido con IA. No editaba desde mi computador pues era muy lento  con lightroom y editar se hacia realmente tedioso. Tome la decision de comprar un equipo para poder editar con fluidez en lightroom desde el computador, pero lamentablemente no ha sido asi. Compre un Asus Tuf F16 con Ryzen 7, Rtx 4050, Ram 16gb y Vram de 6gb, cuando edito en el, suceden varias cosas:- Los trazos con pincel de las mascaras se demoran casi un segundo en aparecer desde haberlos trazado- Si presiono el boton para ver antes o despues de la foto se demora en hacer el cambio al igual forma en ver o ocultar la mejora de ruido.- La superposicion de las mascaras no se ven, he activado y desactivado esa opcion pero aun asi no aparecen.Probe lightroom en el computador de un amigo con especificaciones menores, y funciona

Hey Adobe team, I’m running into two frustrating issues since updating to Lightroom version 8.5.1 (Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 3 5425U with Radeon Graphics). 1. Copying masks doesn’t copy exposure settings anymore.When I copy a Radial Gradient from one image to another, it brings over the mask shape perfectly — but none of the actual settings come with it. The exposure, contrast, highlights, etc., all reset to zero on paste. I’ve tried: Copying via the Masks panel (“Copy Mask” → “Paste Mask”) Copying full edit settings (Ctrl+Shift+C / Ctrl+Shift+V) with “Masks” checked Same result either way. It used to work fine in older versions — I could paste a radial gradient and it would bring over all my exposure adjustments exactly. 2. Lightroom feels really slow now.I've always had issues with the program being SLOW, but everything from moving sliders to switching between photos has noticeable lag; even more irritatingly slow than before. It’s especially bad when I’m working with masks. Turnin

Is any one else having a issue where there is no toggle for HDR output when you go to export as. It seems to be on Jpg that dosent have it. AVIF has got the option but i dont want this format. I have done test on my IPad and this has got the HDR output toggle for JPG but don't see why Android wouldn't have it The app is up to date to so no issue there

Hello -Anyone using Lightroom Classic on a MacBook Air M4.? I am not a professional - photography is a hobby . Have used Lightroom classic on MacBook Pro and laptop needs to be replaced. Will I be able to run Lightroom Classic on the McBook air?Any advice would be most appreciated !Thank you !! 

Whenever I load Lightroom it can take 20 minutes or more to start up before I can do anything with it, it's very frustrating.  Is there anything I can do to speed it up? I'm running it on an iMac (from 2019, not the most up-to-date model) with plenty of free space. All comments / suggestions welcome

 Hi👋I am using Lightroom Mobile with a paid Premium subscription. I seem to be missing tools for exemple; In the masking tools I only see the following options: Select Subject, Select Sky, and Select Background.However, I do not see the “Select People” option, even though according to Adobe’s documentation it should be included with Premium.I would like to know:Does my Premium plan include the AI “Select People” masking feature?If yes, why is this option not showing up in my app?Could this be related to the app version (do I need to update) or to my device (iPhone)?  Thank you very much for your help 🙏

Until recently, when I pressed the Delete key, Lightroom would correctly show the option to delete the selected photo (e.g. “Remove from Album” or “Delete from All Photos”).However, after I accidentally pressed something on the keyboard, the Delete key now only triggers “Delete Album” — even when a single photo is selected. 

I'm already subscribed premium feature in my I phone but premium features. Not working in my iPhone how can I resolve this issue please help me
