Hi! any chance lightroom mobile can allow push notifications just like any other app when there has been activity on the photos/videos? I'd like to get notified when someone likes a photo. Seems like a nobrainer. For people who dont like it, they can still turn it off within the settings of the phone. thanks
I primarily shoot analog film photography and have used software like SmartConvert, Negative Lab Pro, FilmLab, and VueScan to all first invert and normalize RAW files from my camera before importing into Lightroom. This is extremely wasteful and time consuming as the Lossless Compressed RAW files from my camera being re-saved into a de-moasiced TIFF increases the file size 4-5x, then to only re-import into Lightroom for final color adjustments, grading, dust removal, and sharpening. I have attempted many times to do all of this editing within Lightroom and Photoshop but because my photos are inverted to begin with almost all of the controls become backwards, ex: exposure, contrast, white balance. A feature in which I could apply a set of masks and edits, and then "flatten" those changes then continue editing with further edits being "stacked" on top of the previous ones would save me over an hour of time when I scan more than 4 rolls of film at once.
The following are listed in importance to me from most to least. #1. Denoise and Super Resolution... I greatly appreciate that the app does not create a separate dng file which greatly improves on maximizing disk space. But have these two work one or the other is frustrating. Would be great to be able to do both. Also Super Resolution only doubles the pixels. Would be nice to have 2x, 3x, 4x. #2. Printing support much like Lightroom Classic. I own a Canon PRO 300 and edit photographs for the intent to print them. #3. Histogram, its nice that you can display it in the top right corner just like Lightroom Classic but its missing the ISO, focal length, aperture and shutter speed info. So i have to constantly swith between info view and edit view. #4. Info Overlay option in top left corner of screen just like Lightroom Classic can show it. #5. Virtual Copy otion when using Local Storage.

I have a canon R6 camera. I import my photos to a Galaxy S8+ tablet directly into lightroom. For some reason when I try to import the photos as of this week I just get a blue screen with " Lightroom import" written on it. I have tried reloading the app but still get same problem, also changed the SD card with no changeI. I can download photos to web version and add them to lightroom that way but that's not usually practical. Has anyone any ideas how to fix this.

The export doesn't start, and I get no error message – it just silently fails. I’ve had to completely uncheck the Content Credentials option to make the export work at all.On top of that, I’m also seeing this warning on the pictures I want to export:"Certain images require AI settings to be updated before export."Everything was working fine a few weeks ago. I used to export with my credentials (name, Behance, edit history, linked wallet) without issue. Is this a known bug with the latest update? Or do I need to update something manually in my edits or met
Hello everyone, thanks for reading.Let's say I decrease the saturation of a photo by 90.If I then select a specific area using the mask tool and increase the saturation by 90, will the final result in that area be the same as before any changes were made? And if I reduced the overall saturation by 90, then selected with the masking tool, for example, a yellow jacket. Then proceed to the yellow slider and increase the saturation by 90.Will the yellow components of that jacket be the same before making any changes? Is this the answer always the same with contrast, texture, sharpness etc?I am very proficient with the program, but I don't know the answer to this yet. Thanks.
I'm probably at the low end of the prosumer category when it comes to photography. I've been using Lightroom for a couple of years. I love the multiple platform feature on the new CC, but geotagging images has always been important for me (enough so that onboard GPS is a mandatory feature when I look for a camera). I had been adding locations to older images in what's now CC Classic. Are we going to get that ability in the new CC? Even more importantly, will the new AI-based search allow us to do things like pull pictures based on location? And, if so, will we be able to do things like define a radius? This was all possible when we had the maps panel, but seems to be challenging now.
I updated Lightroom CC a few days ago and today I am using the masking brush since the first time since the update. It's kind of a disaster, in Mask mode, the brush tool zooms in unexpectedly at the start of each of my brush strokes and then immediately zooms back out. This is causing my brush to cut through parts of the image that are already masked. Every click it zooms in and zooms out. I am a professor of photography and teach lightroom, so it's not user error! This is a new bug that only showed up with the new options for Super Resolution and Distraction Removals. I do have super-resolution added to the image that I am working on, so I am guessing the bug has something to do with that. I have to try to click on an an empty area (hard to do when zoomed in) so that the quick zoom in and out doesn't drag my brush through an existing mask. I often have to immediately undo the brushstroke and try again. It is VERY annouying and t
Lighroom Creative Cloud 8.4(latest version) in Windows11Lighroom Creative Cloud seems to have an issue with my Nvidia Rtx 3050 6GB dGPU, but only in Creative Cloud, which I prefer using. It might be an Nvidia issue maybe you can clear this for me. When I let the performance from preferences on AUTO or HIGH PERFORMANCE, I can see photos in Detail and Compare, but as soon as I click on Square Grid or Photo Grid,it either doesn't show anything(greyed out as per screenshot)or the program crashes. Also if I select a photo from Detail and try to edit it,program is extremely sluggish and slow, doesn't change exposure in real-time for example. On the other hand, using a tool like Denoise works great and takes less than 20 seconds which is great. This obviously uses the dGPU If I switch the performance on Power Saving(or disable the Nvidia Gpu from Device Manager in win10),all issues dissappear because the system uses the integrated Iris Xe graphics. But I can't use tools like Denoise b
Hello and a happy new year,I'm trying to download my Lightroom photos with Lightroom downloader, Version 1.0.5-20220504.116-64f8d2b. My photo library contains ~69k photos with a total size ~ 890GB.When I start Lightroom downloader, after giving a brief summary of the library, it starts with 'initializing download...'. The UI shows the name of the file processed at a rate of 1 file per second. That would be an estimate of ~19h for all 69k photos. After 36h I stopped the downloader, reboot my MacBook Air M1 and started again. There is no indication nor estimation of the overall process. I'm missing a bit logging and documatation on how i can estimate a download of a large photo library. My conclusion now is that the downloader is buggy as it takes ages for the download of a moderate photo library. Does anyone have ideas or can point to proper documentation? Thanks in advance, Claus
Using my iPad I am trying to edit the capture date of a photo I scanned I scanned on my Mac. Is this possible? I don’t see where to to this.ThanksMonty
Hi can I set the background color (white) to black for the upright transformations?
Is there a way to auto batch grouping or stacking of bracketed photos? Apparently this feature is available on Classic. Instead of having to select every 3 images, group, hdr merge and repeat for hundreds of photos there has to be a way to do at least one of those processes in a batch or automated, right? Why would adobe not put that on one version of lightroom and not the other? I can't figure out why so I'm assuming its user error, but if anyone has an answer it would save me and others I'm sure tons of time. Or at least the ability to run the process and go do something else while it runs. Running Lightroom cloud 7.4.1
From the first time I purchased lightroom the select subject and sky never worked it just crashed and reopened the app. Then for the last few months it has been working fine and it's honestly the best feature for what I use lightroom for. Now as of this morning I'm getting and error saying it can't detect the subject. On photos it has worked for before and every photo. I have cleared the cache, uninstall reinstall and still nothing. Not happy at all. Hope this gets rectified asap or a fix is provided. {Title edited by Moderator}
I just downloaded Lightroom (mobile) 9.2.0 on an iPad 9th generation 17.3.1. When I try to take a photograph in Lightroom using the front (selfie) camera, the image just keeps flipping really fast. No problem with the back camera nor with either camera using Apple's camera. app. Here's a long shutter shot of it, which easier than explaining what kind of flipping:
All of a sudden my adobe lightroom isn't detecting subjects while trying to edit. It can do all the others but not subject...has anyone had this problem? I've turned my phone off and on etc. Nothing works. Any ideas [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Currently even the shortest drag on an image in the grid view will trigger the "reordering" operation (where the blue line appears to indicate where you want to place the image. Not only is this function too easy to call accidentally (especially when using a trackpad where accidental touches can register as a click/drag), but once it is called, it's unintuitive to cancel without consequences (you need to drag the image to an area where it doesn't allow you to drag an image to, such as the top bar). If you try to drag the image back to where it was (which feels more intuitive), you're punished by the sort order switching to Custom Order, and you then have to go back and set the sort order back to what you had. tl;dr: the sort order should only change from a click/drag operation if the image is actually dragged to a new position, and not when it's dragged back to its original position.
Bonjour, Je viens de télécharger la suite Adobe dont lightroom classic. Mais je n'ai que le module bibliothèque qui s'affiche je ne peux donc pas retoucher les images. Pouvez vous m'éclairer ? D'avance merci 🙂
