There’re a black layer on the web. So I cannot click anything on my photoshop screen
I noticed, that when I use a camera raw filter with masks on a smart object, the masks in this filter move when the document is cropped in photoshop. 1. @Sameer K ...its happening again. My iPad updated and now photoshop is crashing again since yesterday. Please help!
In the latest version of Photoshop, the Swatches panel has a much larger minimum height and can no longer be reduced as compactly as before. This limits workspace flexibility and forces the panel to occupy unnecessary vertical space, especially when working with multiple stacked panels.
I have tried just about everything to get this to work. I am not sure when exactly it stopped working but I am guessing during one of the updates for some reason that got screwed up. It works on all my home computers and my work laptop but not my desktop. I have unistalled and reinstalled, tried less up to date versions, turned on and off the screen recording for photoshop in my settings, restarted my computer, none of it has solved the problem. This is so frustrating and I haven't found anyone else having this issue besides people that forget to turn the screen recording button as I mentioned. Also I should mention with all my other Adobe products that fuction works just fine. If I am missing something here please let me know because I need a solution to this madness.
Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.8.1 20250624.r.8 5e0d05d x64 Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit, Version 10 10.0.19045.5965 Steps to reproduce: - Record an action that creates an adjustment layer (Levels or Curves) and set it to non-default values. - Run the action. The recorded values are not applied. Expected result: Photoshop should apply the values I recorded in the action Actual result: Photoshop does not apply the values I recorded in the action. The resulting adjustment layer stays at its default values. Additional information: - This behavior works as expected on the earliest version of Photoshop I could test, which was Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.2.0 20210202.r.183 2021/02/02: a176e5849fa x64. - I am unable to upload a sample action as an attachment as it isn't allowed. - The 'Set current adjustment layer' step seems to work as expected for other adjustment layers, such as Exposure.
Since updating to Photoshop 27.3.1 shape layers have been behaving inconsistently. Running on Windows 11.I have multiple shape layers, all different colours, which I can manipulate fine individually. But, when I select multiple layers in the layers panel, all layers change to the colour of the lowest-most layer. This issue is inconsistent, sometimes layers behave as expected and other times they don’t.Also, some shape layers have text layers above them which are linked. If I move a shape layer, the text layer moves too as expected, but if I rotate the shape, the linked text doesn’t rotate. I didn’t have either of these issues until I updated.Any help would be appreciated.
Photoshop crashes after launch start. I use this for work and have already lost out on a lot of wage because of this! I've tried all updates restarts, I have enough storage and latest iPad update too. Ive heard this happened before and took a few weeks to fix. All my clients work is on this so I can't afford to not be able to use it. ipad 10.5 ios 17.7.10
The message is 'sorry an error occurred' 'Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to close'. It then closes down. I updated to the latest version and still happening. Nothing wrong with the files, I have opened them many times before. Using latest version 27 in Windows
I can't select more than one layer when using the shift or command keys. I've already tried resetting to factory settings, but I still can't select anything.
I'm really tired of complaing about Photoshop developers' lack of awareness of the way that the program is used by people working with video and animation, e.g. no simple support for alpha channels. Here's another one. I needed to bring a PNG sequence into Photoshop for some hand cleanup of transparency, and the easiest way to do this was to load similar frames into a stack. I now simply want to spit them back out with EXACTLY the same names the layers have, since those were the original frame names. It seems that with Export > Save Layers to File this is not possible. The tool insists on a prefix, first of all, even when the box is left empty it will prefix with a frame number starting at 0000 even though my layers all have unique names (including containing their original correct frame number). AND, the tool then also suffixes the output frame names with the file format, even though my layers also contain the PNG extension already as well.&
I'm a blind/low-vision Photoshop user (I have some sight, so I am able to use the interface.) I'm an artist and architect and often use Photoshop because it is industry standard. Lately I've noticed the app has stopped working with Windows High Contrast Mode, a software feature I rely on heavily toc create a black background with white text. My eyes are very light sensitive, so white backgrounds overstimulate my vision - looking at a white screen or a white panel on the screen is very difficult, and usually impossible for me to see. It is also painful (it feels kind of like a person with full sight looking at the sun or a very bright light.) With recent updates, the Photoshpo menus on my computer have not been adapting to the system colors, so they are appearing white and preventing me from being able to use Photoshop at my job. I'm hoping you can have a developer take a look at this. I've provided two screenshots. The first is what Photoshop looks like in high contrast mode, and the s
I cannot access any of my images in the online photoshop gallery, there is a slightly opaqude box covering everything except my account and half of the menu on the left. The black box does not allow me to select anything.
Firstly i'm no computer expert!I use PS v27.2.0 on a Mac OS Tahoe 26.2.For a number of years i have made minor edits to photos straight from camera and ran File/Scripts/Image Processor to save the open images (usually 10 at a time) to a reduced size. Typically my originals are 6000x4000 pixels and i save them as JPEG Quality 8 and 900x600 pixels. My default settings never change and each time i process a new batch, the previous settings remain - until recently. Now, each time i enter Image Processor all of the options are reset and i have to specifiy them again. As I'm doing this maybe 20 times per day how do i get my prefered settings to 'stick'?I've attached a screen shot of what Image processors opens with and what my prefered settings are.
After i switch from m1 to m4 max studioWhen using the Vanishing Point filter in Adobe Photoshop on macOS (latest version Tahoe) with a Wacom tablet (Intuos Pro M, USB connection), there is an intermittent delay when dragging with the pen. Specifically, the pen click is registered immediately, but the click + drag action is delayed by approximately 0.3–0.5 seconds before movement starts. The issue occurs randomly – sometimes dragging is smooth, other times it is noticeably delayed. Additional observations: The issue occurs only inside Vanishing PointOutside Vanishing Point (normal Brush / retouching), pen input is perfectly smoothThe issue occurs only with pen input, mouse input works correctlyThe behavior is identical in 8-bit and 16-bit documentsThe issue is not performance-related and not GPU-load dependentDisabling GPU acceleration removes the lag, but makes Photoshop unusable overallDisabling OpenCL, guides, or other Vanishing Point options has no effectNo third-part
It's been a while that my generative remove isn't working. It stays like that and after a long time it eventually fails. I have tried Uninstalling and reinstalling plus I kept all the processing on stable and cloud. How do I fix that??
Th latest update to stable Photoshop 27.2 is taking ages to open certain files, files that were previouly fine on the last versionsI am on Windows 11, my system is Ryzen, Nvidea and 32 gig This started in Beta 27.2, where suddenly it would not open files that opened perfectgly fine in the previous version, now it seems that whatever you did in Beta 27.2 you have now added to the latest stable build. These files vary, one for example is only 35MB, yet takes over 2 mins to load, and files that are 1gig plus that do the same, these files open in seconds in previous versionThe only thing I can think/see is something to do with linked files?? The file I mentioned that's 35MB only consists of linked files Anyone else seen this behaviour with latest Beta and stable versions??
I am having an issue with photoshop that I have never had before. I am working with a very large .psb file and it is a depth map image that I am creating so I am using exposure adjustment layers to adjust the lighting of certain layers. I was able to get it to look how I wanted to in my .psb file in photoshop, but when I try to export or save it as a png or jpeg the exposure is off. The layers I worked on with the adjustment layers are over exposed, but it's just how I want it when I'm looking at in photoshop. I even tried taking a screenshot of it while in photoshop but even the screeshot was different. Shouldn't it look exactly the same? That's whats really throwing me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if this is a bug or if its my computer. My computer is new. I have a Macbook pro 2024 but just bought it in September 2025. MacOS Tahoe 26.2. I'm using Photoshop 2025 26.10.0 release.
After some recent updates, Photoshop started having serious performance issues with artboards. Even a very simple artboard now causes Photoshop to freeze or become extremely slow when moving or duplicating it. Actions that used to be instant now take several seconds and sometimes completely lock the program.I recorded a video that is attached here to demonstrate the problem. In older versions (around version 24, if I remember correctly), it was possible to work with artboards containing many layers without any performance issues. Tested on macOS and Windows. Now, the same workflow is causing problems on both systems. This is significantly affecting productivity, and I’d like to know if this is a known issue or if there is a recommended fix or workaround.Recorded on version 27.2
I use Web version of Photoshop,I've uploaded Korean font (galmuri) and used it.deleted the original font on my Mac.and when I opened the PSD file again, there were a notice says that font file is missing.I put back font and returned to the files, but still my font is not working. What is strange is that I can still use the font on the new PSD file but cannot on the original PSD file I was using or the duplicated version of it.Is there anyway to delete the uploaded font files, and reinstall it?
Both 26.11.2 and 27.1.0 suffer from the same error. In my research in this Community, Ps 26.11.1 was touted as a remedy. However, 26.11.1 is not available in CC. The main sliders I have tested without error: Photo enhancement, Enhance face, Scratch reduction.Upon opening the Adjustments section -- containing NR, Color NR, Halftone artifacts reduction, JPEG artifacts reduction --I set the NR slider to 1, and left the other three set to 0. The 'disabled' error immediately, instantaneously appeared. I even tried renaming (as suggested in a post I found) /Users/my_username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/22/Internal/com.adobe.nfp.gallery/PluginDatato /Users/my_username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/22/Internal/com.adobe.nfp.gallery/PluginData.old Correct folder? Should I have deleted the folder? (It contained 18 folders that look like effects, e.g., FaceSegnentation [sic], SuperZoom, etc)&nbs
Anyone else having this issue? Photoshop for iPhone freezing when generative AI is used.
I'm working on a 16bit file and getting constant crashes when recropping. It appears to be the smart objects with filters applied that are the problem. Path blur, gaussian blur, motion blur and noise are the filters applied. Its happened 10 times in a row consistently, tried photoshop 25 and had the same problem. Rasterising the smart objects is a work around, but not ideal.
Standard behavior (consistent for many years): Photoshop is open and running; I install a new font using Font Book on macOS; that font is instantly available in Photoshop. The same was also true for fonts added using Adobe Fonts. New behavior (as of recent app revision): Photoshop is open and running; I install a new font using Font Book; the font is not available in Photoshop until I close and open the app again. Adobe Fonts do sometimes become available in the running app, but it takes a long time -- on the order of 15-30 minutes. This is using Photoshop 27 on macOS Sequoia (not Tahoe).
When removing the background, this happens with every photo. The same error appears when using Object Removal as well.
