Hi everyone,I’ve been editing some photos for my website [removed by moderator], but I’m struggling to make them look as crisp and clean as I see on other professional sites. I’m currently using Photoshop, and even though I adjust sharpness and lighting, the images still look slightly dull or pixelated after uploading them online. Can anyone suggest the best Photoshop settings or export options for making website images look sharp, clear, and fast-loading?Also, should I use “Save for Web” or export in a different way for better quality? Thanks a lot for any advice — I really want to improve my site’s visual quality.

How do I manually delete whatever files are taking up space? Is there another way to resolve this lost hard drive space? Mac Sonoma 14.6.1 

Hi, I have a few QTVR files from the late 1990's I wanted to resuurect. I dont need to pan and zoom in them, just want to stitch together the existing images. I converted them to mp4 and then dropped them into Photoshop, they are play as individual images at the moment. I was not sure what to do next and hoping for guidance here, Thanks

How do i fix this error?i already tired reintalling PS several times, updated the runtimes with All in One Runtimes Downloader, and scanned the system for issues and nothing works.the error is the following.OWLChangeNewDocumentMenuDisabled could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Photoshop.exe.Other 2023 2024 no problemadobe illustrator 2024 2025 no problem There are no Authenticated users in the C slot, and I cannot add special access permissions to the newly added Authenticated users. Is this related to the fact that?

I just updated to 22.1 and among other things I cannot duplicate a layer. CMD J does not work and the Duplicate selection in Layers is greyed out. I cannot unlock the layer that I opened and am trying to duplicate. I opened PS at the image in Finder and then tried Bridge.I am dead in the water.  What gives? 

When I resize a photo wth or without interpolation or using the crop aspect tool, the size I create doesnt style exactly the same all of the time. Say I change the dimensions to 6inch on the long side, hats fine. But then when I check imafe properties it has changed to 5.993 inches. This is annoying as I want exact dimesnsions. Is this to do with some kind of math where the pixel dimensions and selected inches size can't evenly compute? 

Photoshop V26.11 Gave the new update a chance. Hoping I can use it for my use cases in Concept art (Drawing, painting, photobashing...)Still the same issues.Need to use PSUser to add wintab exclusion to get brush sensitivity.Canvas lags when panning and zooming. This has been an issue for YEARS. At least before we could use Disable Native Canvas to get rid of it. But that feature has been gone for a few years... Mulitple times over the last year or so I have had layer masks corrupt and fill with random block patterns. It tends to happen on large files with lots of layers. It can happen to multiple layers at the same time. Only way to get orignal mask back is to make a selction (CMD+Click), invert that selection and fill with black.  Very annoying! My files are generally 16bit and PSB's if that makes any difference. 

HiIs there a way to inject plain text into a XMP namespace via a plugin created in UXP Developer Environment? I have a textarea, and want to have the text in the text area be saves into the documents XMP metadata when it's saved. Can this be done and how?

Unable to generate a fill in photoshop after writing a prompt

I am using timeline in photoshop to create a stop motion animation. I work on this tool frequently without any trouble. Today it started playing the animations very quickly even though I have the steps set to .3 seconds - I have tried saving and rebooting PS and my system. It will export ok. But this is a very bad and new bug. Judy

I'm sorry before the question. sory to post such a silly question that is out of line with the community's community.I don't know about Java and the script. And in fact, I don't use a lot of automation. But while working on Photoshop, I wanted to make only one function into a script, so I'm asking you this question. (Btw,i'm using Photoshop2019)Regardless of the name of the layer, how should i produce a script that can send the active layer to the top? As you know, In photoshop already provide keyboard shorcut ( ctrl+shift+] ) But... There are times when layers are in a group or something doesn't go to the top depending on the situation. So if you can implement it with a script, if any layer is activated, I would like to know how to send to the top.Thank you for reading it. I'm sorry for asking such a silly question.

Hello How do i make a texture so it can be used as an overlay. Please see examples attached. The white image has been converted to a greyish one. I can use the grey image and use the overlay effect to add textures to what i want. I want to do the same to other textures. Thanks 

I was pleased to see that “Adobe’s AI Approach” (topic offered on app launch) “does not use your images or data to train our AI models. We are committed to safeguarding your creative work.” But what images DOES Adobe use to train its AI? We’re not only concerned about our own work; we don’t want to be stealing anybody else’s, either. We want Adobe to be safeguarding everybody’s creative work. Of course, anything done before the enactment of copyright law is fair to use. But obviously that won’t cover the gamut. So what is Adobe using? Does it purchase stock art with a specific license to use it for AI training? Does it have specific AI-training contracts with specific artists and photographers? Bottom line, does AI have explicit consent for its AI training materials?

I’ve been experimenting with different mouse DPI settings to see how they affect accuracy in Photoshop, especially during detailed retouching and brush work.I used an online DPI testing tool called Check Mouse DPI (checkmousedpi dot com) to measure how consistent my mouse movement is at different sensitivity levels.Curious if other designers here notice similar results do you prefer high or low DPI for fine detail work?

Why is the maximum image size 300,000px x 300,000px? Can I increase it beyond 300,000px x 300,000px?

In the PS home screen grid view, I can't see the file extensions any longer so I don't know wether its a .psd or .jpg or anything. To see the extension, I have to use list view which is no good because the thumnails are way too small. Can you please fix this so I can actually know what files I am looking at? Without the file extension, I am completely in the dark and it's backwards progress in my workflow. PLEASE FIX. Any ideas to fix manually are appreciated. I am using the most recent version of the app on Windows 11. Thanks all.

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a strange issue with Photoshop. After I invert a mask, I can't use any shortcut keys at all, even something as basic as Ctrl + Z. I've tried troubleshooting in various ways, but the problem persists on both my PC and my laptop, so it's not specific to one machine. I'm also using a Wacom tablet, and I'm starting to wonder if there's some kind of conflict happening. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have ideas for a fix? Thanks in advance!

summary:Photoshop crashes when using perspective warp. It takes up an ungodly amount of memory (200GB), freezes, and crashes. This is new--  I was working on a project where I had to perspective warp about 10 elements, one at a time. the first 5 were good, and then it stopped working. I flattened the finished perspective warped elements to save space, but it didnt help.  I have a Macbook M2 Pro with 32GB memory at 1TB HD. I have 500GB avail on the hard drive. My apps are up to date.  The file I'm working on is small, only 17MB. My photoshop performace settings are set to Photo / Default and 70% of RAM.  Any clue why this is happening? In general, for the past months, my photoshop has been unbelievably slow. Especially when using type. However this is no type at all in the file i'm working on now. Please help! This is an urgent work project I need to deliver ASAP. 

Are there general guidelines on how to use .as("px") with a script? I noticed a bug when calling it through UnitValue vs directly. Hello, My scratch disks are full and I keep bailing out all unnecessary files off my computer library but the notice keeps coming back! I want to use my external hard drive as my scratch disk instead of my computer's hard drive but it doesn't come up as an option when I go into Preferences to change my scratch disk. I've looked into this issue and it seems like I have to re-format my external hard drive to a weird format to make it a valid option that the computer recognizes. Is this a thing? (I'm on a Mac). Please help! I'm doing graphic design for a company and this is so frustrating! 

Hello everyone and Adobe.I have experienced a very unfortunate issue where my pen precision while selecting a color in the color palette doesn't get along together.I usually touch my tablet with the tip of my pen, and slide to the color I want to choose, then releasing my pen and the color gets selected. However, when I do that and select a slightly different color than the one originally selected, if I slide and release, the cursor gets back to its initial position (or go back to the nearest initial position) thus not taking the color I slided to.Here is a little GIF to show you. Look at the cursor, at times it follows my pen, and at other times it gets back to where I started. I touch & slide and then release. I do not click to select a color.Anyone have this trouble? Why does my cursor is "magnetized" to its original position if I slide slightly ?Thank you for any help.
