Photoshop

I recently bought a Macbook Pro (16 inch, Nov 2024, Apple M4 Pro, 24 GB Memory, Sequoia 15.6.1) so that I could use my iPad (Air, 5th generation, iPadOS Version 16.6.2) as a drawing tablet when using Photoshop.  However, when working in Photoshop using my iPad as a tablet in Sidecar, scrolling with two fingers over the canvas is waaaaaay too sensitive. For example when I move my fingers just a few millimeters, it moves the canvas completely out of the screen. It completely ruins my workflow. I've tried several things to solve this problem:- Updated MacOS and iPadOS- Updated Photoshop- Tried different sidecar settings: mirror and optimize for mac, mirror and optimize for ipad, use as extended screen- Tried different scrolling settings- Started my Mac in safe mode Also, I figured out that when I'm in a browser and zoom in on something and then scroll with two fingers on the iPad, it's completely normal, so the issue seems to be Photoshop specific. (Sorry I am not a native English speaker, so forgive about my poor English) Issue:  Photoshop version:  Photoshop 26.11 x64 OS: Windows 11 24H2 26100.6584 Steps to reproduce: Type in some CJK characters by Vertical Type Tool, such as "啊——" (Dashes must be full-width characters) This bug can only be reproduced on certain fonts. (see attachment files)   Expected result:  I'm sure everything's OK in Photoshop 26.10. Actual result:  The attchment includes an example psd file and the related font file that will reproduce this bug.

I have the same problem. Also in camera raw. Have tried beta version as well. Windows 11, Intel core i7-Ultra, 32gb ram, Intel Arc graphics. My photoshop system info:   {Moved to new thread & attached system info}

Info panel doesn't show "before" values, only "after". (Photoshop release 26.8.1).  Every section of the panel show only one value, even for custom sample points, check screenshot attached. Is it a bug?  

I'm having this exact problem on Photoshop as this user. How do I fix this? It only happens on my laptop, on my PC it works fine

Toggling Dynamic Text on and off with the options bar icon causes the entire text box to move on the canvas.   1. Drag the Text tool to create a text box 2. Type characters into the text box 3. I use many actions - most with several steps and many with keyboard shortcuts to start them. Before 8/20/25 PS update, when I used a keyboard shortcut to start an action, the "Actions Panel" would go to that action and show the steps, highlighting the current step.  Now, the step is still highlighted, but the panel does not update, so I have to manually scroll through the actions to find where I am. In addition, a few of my keyboard shortcuts have "broken" and will not work to start the action.

Can not export any legacy formats.I have enabled photoshop 2021 in the systems security permissions for full disk access and the same for files and folders and accessibility, after having read some of the previous advice on here for older versions of photoshop and OS, but to no avail. An error message appears every time I try to save for web legacy - It's an animated GIF I'm trying to export. An incredibly frustrating fault that needs to be addressed soon!    {PS-75070}

After the recent update of Photoshop I'm having an issue with my Surface Dial's function in the app. The brush menu isn't working, if I select the brush icon my on screen dial becomes temporarily transparent and then disappears without pulling up the secondary brush menu which allows for brush size, opacity etc to be selected and controlled by the dial. I use these functions constantly in my work flow so it is certainly annoying although not impossible to work around. The dial seems to be functioning normally outside the app and can still for example control volume level or zoom in and out, but the primary function I use it for is brush control; particularly brush size. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?  I have tried: Unpairing and repairing the Surface Dial to the computer. Removing batteries to reset the device. Resetting the computer and resetting Photoshop. I am using the ~spaces plugin work around to prevent touchscreen crashes that came with the new update.

In PS 2025 (26.9), running under macOS 15.6 when I choose the Selection Brush Tool and then look at the status bar popup for "current tool", it says that my current tool is the "Brush".  If I choose any of the other tools in the same toolset as the Selection Brush Tool (e.g., Lasso Tool, Polygonal Lasso Tool, and Magnetic Lasso Tool), the status bar popup for "current tool" shows that my current tool is the Lasso, Polygonal Lasso, or Magnetic Lasso--the way it should.      When I have the Selection Brush tool active, the status bar popup should say "Selection Brush" (not just "Brush").  

It's been happening for a very long time and I usually just go back in the history, save and open again, but this time it bugged me a bit so I decided to post it as a bug:It happens at random, sometime I can go without it happening for several months and then it happens again, with completely random files.Basically you can look at the video and you'll see the mask starts to degrade as ifi it was corrupted file or something similar.For the amount of time I have seen it happening, I have had 4 computers, both laptops and desktops, countless different Photoshop versions (I try to always be up to date)Just to state that there will be no point sending a file to someone else to check, as saving it at a state where the mask is correct and open it again solves the issue. If I save at a corrupted state, Photoshop saves the corrupted state and one cannot recover the original state. I never save the corrupted state as it's client's work, and it didn't happen today so I couldn't share a .psd here,

I'm using a large image file (11520x23680). When you make a crop selection and zoom in the view incorrectly jumps to the center. See attached video. Steps: Make a crop selection with the crop tool. Hold ctrl-space to get the zoom tool. Drag zoom in. The view will jump to the center, but it should have stayed where you zoomed in.

My Brigtness / Contrast tool window pops up DEAD CENTER every time I open it so it's right over the image.  I move it off to the side off the image but it doesn't stay put. Next time I open it it's right back at dead center.  Every other tool window in PS stays wherever I move it. Why won't this window stay put?

Gradient "Tool Presets" are not working - PS is not saving gradient type and other settings, the only value saved within preset seems to be opacity.   Im not able to point to the specific version of Photoshop where the issue appeared, definatelly all 26+ Its the same issue on Windows and Mac OS   Please note im not talking about gradient colour presets but the TOOL PRESETS:   Anyone should be able to easily replicate the issue - just save 2 random presets with different settings and try to use them...   To Adobe: how many customers would need to confirm its a problem for them too so it actually gets look into?   To moderators, please dont merge this thread with any other random one - it doesnt help at all! Hello, after the update from v26.8.1 to v26.9, the following bug occurs: My workflow involves precise layer naming. I often have to re-use the same part of a layer name convention, so for sake of speed, instead of writing the same name convention on a layer hundreds of times, I use to copy-paste the layer name from one layer to another. To do that I use the shortcut ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Unfortunately after the latest update, the copy paste function for layer NAMES stoped working and no name is copied/pasted. The layer itself ist copied instead. Neither restarting PS does help, nor re-installing it. Hope this can be solved quickly. Thank you in advance for your concern.

This happens in both the "Quick Export as PNG" as well as the "Export As..." options. Every now and then, a layer which is definitely hidden is still showing up in the exported image. This is happening right now; the image in my document looks like this:Which is what I want. However, when I make absolutely no changes and export this file, I end up with:This red tint comes from a translucent fill layer, which is DEFINITELY hidden. This version of the image is also what appears in the preview window when I select "Export As..." from File, which makes absolutely no sense. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a solution?

Hi everyone,I recently updated my Photoshop to the latest version, and I noticed a change with the Rectangle Tool. Previously, after drawing a shape with the Rectangle Tool, I could see four corner radius points which allowed me to adjust the curves individually using the Move Tool. However, after the update, those points no longer appear or respond as they used to. Is this a known change in the latest update? Or is there a new method to enable corner radius control like before? Would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

There is already a discussion in the community "Brush Outline/Circle disappearing intermittently (NOT CAPS LOCK) ". But since I have figured out in detail how to reproduce the behavior and when it becomes present, I want to report the issue officialy that Adobe hopefully will fix this in one of the next upcoming patch releases.   OS Environment: Win 10 Pro 64bit 21H1 Adobe Ps 23.0.2   The issue is only present in combination when using Masks on a layer! Why are the MS Fluent Emojis burned in the latest Photoshop update (the smileys and characters)? I didn't have this problem before!    Probably a new cake that Adobe has baked for us with garbage AI!    

I am using Photoshop 24.0.0. When I use the font Leander Script Pro Bold (a script font), alternate letters show when I rollover the letter, but when I try to choose an alternative, it doesn't change. I opened the file in Photoshop 23.3.2 and it worked just fine.

When I try to change the font weight, only a few letters have their weight replaced. First, this happened on Photoshop Beta version, but I updated both of the versions at the same time, and after trying it in the current Photoshop version (v25.0), the same problem happens.     Even the font preview shows it bugged. (Only the L in "Sample" changing weight)   The letters affected change when I try it on the canvas, but it's still the same problem. I didn't test a lot of fonts, but the fonts that have this problem are Raleway and Outfit, both from Google Fonts. From what I've seen from other people's posts, a lot of people using fonts from Google Fonts are having this problem. We really need a way to fix this.

For those of you who use the search layers function in photoshop often, have you been having an issue with it over the last few months? Every time I start to type something now, it loses focus as if I’ve clicked out of the text box, but I haven’t. I can get 1 letter, maybe 2, before the focus is no longer in the text box. Is this happening to other people or am I doing something wrong.   Using my Macbook pro and photoshop v 25.12.4
