Photoshop

hallo zusammen ich habe da ein Probelm ich habe die Photoshop Version 2023, und wenn ich auf die Photoshop version2025 update kann ich meine alten PSD Dateien verwenden: was kann ich da machen ?? damit ich alles einwand frei verweden kann wievoherr  lg.

I'm having problems with the 3DConnexion driver preventing Photoshop from launching and wonder whether anyone has experience this and found a fix? This driver is for the 3dConnexion spcae mouse (which i use with Fusion360). With the driver installed Photoshop hangs (becomes unresponsive) at the 'loading preferences' stage. Uninstalling the 3DC driver fixes the issue. I've tried unintsalling and reinstalling photoshop and ditching the preferences file too - but no luck.  3DConnexion can't replicae the issue. 🙁 I'm running a Mac Pro M2 Ultra, Tahoe 26.0.1 and the latest versions of all CC apps. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello, Recently got a cintiq. As I am right handed, when i open the Brush menu using a pen button, it opens rightwards, which is directly under my hand. Is there any way, or a script, to make the menu pop out to the left?

The quality has dropped to an unusable level. Textures that were rendered beautifully in previous versions now sometimes appear smudged or as if painted in with a brush. There are far more nonsensical fills—like birds randomly appearing in hair or clothes, and extra hands in bizarre places when the image already has two! It’s like AI gone wrong. What happened to quality control? How does the AI actually get worse? This is beyond frustrating. To make things worse, the newest update deleted my older versions, even though the "delete older versions" checkbox was unchecked. It's incredibly frustrating to lose those versions without consent.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if this isn't (yet) a feature.When working with multiple gradients on a layer, I'm only able to edit the last one.Being able to edit it at all is great but this feature would be even better if I could switch to another gradient and edit this one. Especially for masks this would be a huge help.

I mainly use adobe illus, and when you save a file there you can "Save as" and it prompts you with a Save to cloud or save locally. Can't we have the same features in Photoshop especially i don't use adobe bridge at all

I'm working with a new hire. I'm on a Mac, he's on a PC. He's using PS ver. 26.11.0. Steps:1. Open a PS image2. Create an Alpha Channel (white box on a black field)3. Select the alpha channel (so you see marching ants)4. Inverse the selection - doesn't reflect the inverse with the marching ants-they stay the same This was driving me crazy until we went back to the RGB channel and copied the image and pasted it into another document of the same size. Apparently, the feature is working as expected but the marching ants aren't showing the "actual" selected area. It still "looks" like the original selected area is active but after using Inverse, it has selected what you would expect. This sounds confusing.  

Posting this because it was a simple thing but I couldn't figure out what was happening after the Photoshop 2020 update. I was trying to draw a rectangle shape by dragging my mouse starting from the top left corner, but it would go wonky and it was hard to draw.   Atfer selecting the rectangle tool under shape selections I went to the "settings" looking icon on the top toolbar. Under Path Options I unticked the one that said "From Center." Gee. I wonder who made that a default behavior. Hope this helps someone.   {Thread renamed by moderator}

Hello!I'm about to go crazy. I have a document with LOTS of text on it. Every time I try to use the type tool to add new text, it selects another layer's text if I am anywhere near it on the screen. I want to turn that off. As it stands right now, I have to find a "clear spot", click with the text tool cursor, type my new text, then move it into place. Is there some way for me to turn that off? I've looked in Photoshop's settings and searched the internet and I can't find anything about this problem.I'm running Windows 11 and Photoshop 26.11.0.Please help.

Hi,I'm using Adobe Photoshop 22.4.2 on Windows 10 64bits. I noticed an issue with the text layer. When editing the text and pressing Enter (text one or number one), Photoshop is validating the text edit on my layer and not performing a carriage return as it should do by default. I tried several shortcuts combinaisons, without being able to perform a text carriage return in the app. I tested on Adobe Illustrator and it's working correctly as expected.I uninstalled, downgraded to v22.0, reset the user preferences, all without success. I tested on my mac, same version and it's working fine. The issue is only with the version I have on Windows.Thank you in advance for your help.Pierre

After several "try and error" stuff I will try to explain maý problem.It's always the same, during the starting window, the app crashes. It's almost during the note "Speicher bemessen", but not always. So I tried to switch back to 26.10, it worked during the first start, second start was not possible. So I deinstalled this version and tried that also with 26.0 and after that try with the beta version. I updated the windows (25H2), I updated the GPU driver, I deactivated the GPU (NVIDIA ge-force 3070 notebook), I deactivated windows defender, I unsigned creative cloud and signes in once again, I deinstalled all photoshop versions and the creative cloud and installed everything new. Hi everyone, I’m working on a complex sport kit design in Photoshop – a large master PSD with many embedded Smart Objects (collar, sleeves, socks, trims, etc.). Each Smart Object, when opened, contains a layer including a Solid Color Fill layer that defines its base color (e.g. “BaseColor”, “TrimColor”, etc.). Whenever I need to change the main kit color, I have to manually open every single Smart Object, recolor its Solid Color layer, save, close, and repeat, which is very time-consuming as there is some 25+ different elements. I’m looking for a way to recolor either all or a group of those internal Solid Color layers globally, even though they’re inside embedded Smart Objects. Linked Smart Objects aren’t an option, and global adjustment layers or Variables don’t work because each part has its own local lighting and blending. Is there any way – either natively or via scripting – to apply a color change across all embedded Smart Objects while preserving their e

I am one of the Brother Printer users who found that in the last week of trying to use the Photoshop app (auto-updated as it is running on a CC subscription), I go to print and the document & print window force close w/ no crash notice. On checking the printer queue, the request never makes it to the actual printer. (I have never had this issue before and I have been a photoshop user for around 25 years, back when you could get it on a CD-ROM. I need my files to print to color-check before going to press.) Hello everybody,  I have a question for a specific issue:- I installed PS, LRc, Bridge etc. on my PC Windows- everything is working fine, no problem at all- but free spece on my C drive is almost full, because (I do not remember why ...) I installed Adobe applications on drive C, where is working operating system too- I have a second partition D which has a lot of free space, so I would move all adobe applications I have from C to DQuestions:1) how can I do that? I think I should delete everyting from disk C and reinstall everything on drive D, correct?2) if I do that, what is the starting page from which I reinstall everything? Hello, System: Windows 11 / 64 bit  / 25H2 and graphic driver (Nvidia) are updated, have latest version.If i choose/klick the function "remove tool/Entfernen-Werkzeug" PS/APP crashed down.Following steps i have already tried but it doesn't work:- Remove tool chage to "stable" in the settings- Turn of the graphic use in the settings- Tried it with different pictures .JPD/.PSD Can you help me please? First post, helloI'm working with photoshop 2025 and an Epson SCF570 pro using photoshop to print and the Epson Scf500 general purpose/rigid to print on Chromaluxe metal....and I'm getting green shadows in the printer prints prior to pressing. Thought on fixes ? The blacks are also grainy and splotchy. Looks terrible to be honest. The included pic you can see the issues at the back of the car. Thanks in advance for the help,Garret   

As there are several posts/users with the same problem, i'm posting here how i've solve this for myself as i was looking how to switch my paint brush into eraser mode in Photoshop with the missing ~ tilde shorcut on azerty. This should work for illustrator or any other software : Workaround 1 : change your keyboard language to English United States, then the ² key (french keyboard here) will work as the ` key, which is the `~ key, aka tilde ~ shortcut. You can also change language per application in advanced keyboard parameter, then you have to change language once for every app you use (win+space) then it will remember it. So you can work in qwerty US photoshop and azerty FR (or other) for the rest without switching every time. Workaround 2 (Win 11 & 10, and some older versions) : keeping whatever keyboard language, remap just one key to the US tilde ~ key (which is `~ but output ` as mentionned before) using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (on official microsoft websi

After a recent update the Undo/Redo (Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Shift+Z) functions no longer apply to the color picker for Replace Color. This is inconvenient because now if you make a mistake you, have to start over selecting colors.

When you try to 'save for web' jpeg images from a Photoshop document with multiple arboards, you get the option to save one single JPEG with all the artboards together. Can you save them indivisually?
