Hey there! It's been more than a year since my old iMac 2013 died and I invested into a new Mac to find out Photoshop was unusable due to a specific bug that messes up the colors. Shadows clip, colors get desaturared etc etc. This was one of the threads were a lot of troubleshooting was done, but to no avail https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-not-showing-correct-colors-update-after-3-weeks-of-troubleshooting/td-p/14600182/page/2 Needless to say, extremely disappointed in Adobe and Apple for not replying and/or helping out on the matter as I found, over time, that more and more people have this bug. Total damage for me is a couple of thousand euros and it brought me to tears at one point that these big companies are not interested at all to deliver a working product. (I know, big companies only care about profit, but one has to have hope right?) But in the end, life goes on and it also brought some new insights in photograph

The Ink option make may pen slow an lagging,  win10 sometimes shows annoying ripples and circles , I had trembling cursors  etc.     Get rid of ink years ago and never had an issue.  So not sure why Photoshop  needs it really .   I recall there were some hack to make it work with  older option.  But I can't recollect what it was .  Would be appreciated if anyone know and could tell.

HiI have a few purchased actions I have been trying to run. No errors come up during the run, however they don't have the result they are supposed to.The smart object thumbnails are empty, but when I open them they have an image in them. Original test imageWhat the outcome should be give or take differences for the image.  What the outcome wasAs you can see the smart object layer thumbnail is empty. I have reset photoshop, uninstalled it reinstalled it, redownloaded and installed the actions, upgraded and downgraded my OS. I've followed the install instructions.This is the action string Any helpful suggestions or solutions would be most welcome.

This is more by way of a heads up.   I was getting concerned that I was seeing videos about the new Variance slider in ACR 17.4 (check it out, it's awesome), but  try as I might, I could not get  Photoshop to update.  Then I realised that I had not seen a Photoshop beta update in at least two weeks, which was unusual.   I also noticed the CCDA was showing all of my installed Adobe apps with Install rather than the usual Open next to them. I signed out and back in to the CC Desktop app, with no change.   I probably did things wrong from here, as I clicked on Install for PS Beta, and it installed the latest version with none of my settings (workspaces, shortcuts etc.).  Fortunately, I am paranoid about that stuff, and had copies of everything, so an easy fix.    That's when I knew the CCDA had to be broken, but rather than reinstall, I used the Windows 11 Repair option in Settings > Programs and Features, and everything was b

Hello everyone. I keep getting this pop up "Selected font failed during last operation. If problem persists, please disable the font." On all fonts Adobe and personal fonts. Not stock fonts. Here are some things I have tried.  Clearing Photoshop Cache Clearing Photoshop CTFont Cache  Uninstalled and re-install all Adobe apps Added my personal fonts to Adobe cloud Uninstalled and re-install all fonts (Through Adobe and manually) Only in Photoshop. Illustrator still lets me use all the fonts. InDesign does not load the font either instead I get an "OpenType is not available for this font" with red highlight. Is there any way i can reset all font settings or files on a Mac if that's even a thing? I think I have PS 21.1.1 and I am using Mac.  Thanks!!!

It will work for a little while, and then the cursor disappears, I can't change the mode, and when I click Cancel to return to the image in Layers mode, there's no image, just the grey background. The only recourse is to quit Photoshop and reopen. All image modifications are lost. This happens A LOT!I'm on an iPad running 17.7.2 and using Apple Magic Keyboard with Apple Pencil.

I must admit that I strongly considering stepping out of Lrc and PS. After the recent updates, I can't get PS 2025 properly started. When giving the command "open as layers in PS", PS 2025 takes ages to open and gets stuck at the start page not importing the different pictures. I have tried everything possible by reinstalling both Lrc and PS, even installing older PS versions but nothing seems to help. Who can help me, please?Regards,Bart

bonjour, Je cherche à créer une image (photo) sur laquelle je veux superposer un ensemble de segments de droites(grille) .Dans photoshop, je charge ma photo source, que je retrouve dans un calque, puis je crée un tracé de droites que je « superpose » à mon calque. Jusque là tout va bien. Je vois sur mon calque la grille que je viens de créer. Mais je n’ai pas trouvé comment intégrer ce tracé dans l’image pour exporter une fusion de l’ensemble en png ou jpg. La grille n’apparait pas à l’exportation. Il me manque l’étape de fusion. J’ai chercher dans la notice de Ps sans trouver, en me perdant un peu dans les notions de masque vectoriel que j’ai essayé sans succès

I just save a copy as .AVIF and WebP. Using the same high 63% lossy, the .AVIF file is twice the size of WebP file. What gives? Is AVIF better than WebP?    AVIF has a clear advantage over WebP here. Generally speaking, AVIF images are 50% smaller than JPEG images, while WebP images are 30% smaller than JPEG. This difference in size can be chalked up to how each file format handles compression.

I can add a slider UI to a script with var slider1 = dlg.add("slider", undefined, undefined, undefined, undefined, {name: "slider1"}); slider1.minvalue = 0; slider1.maxvalue = 10; slider1.preferredSize.width = 180; But is there a way (in Windows)  to allow you to nudge the slider using the keyboard?  

Ok, I know, I'm old! I am still using PS6 ! I have it on my laptop and it does everything I need, so why pay for  a newer version? So my problem is that after doing the latest Windows 10 update this week, I was getting an error that would not allow Photoshop to open, it would start to open and then just stop and give an error. I did some searching and found people saying to reset the preferences to open in a previous version so I tried this, but it didn't work. I was only able to get it back by uninstalling the Windows update and Photoshop is now working.  The problem now is, I keep getting a pop up from Windows telling me to install the update every half an hour or so. So what are my options? Obviously I will eventually have to install the Windows update, but then I am left with no Photoshop. It looks like my only Photoshop option now is a monthly subscription at $30 a month? I don't want to do this as I only do a few photos a month , so it's just not worth it. I s

This bug began happening maybe a month ago when I select a text layer intending to change the font. When I go to the Character panel and start typing the name of the new font, the first letter of the new font entered disappears. For example, I want to change Mulish to Open Sans - when I begin typing Open for the font to show up in the Character panel list it cuts off the "O" and only reads as "pen". So the font search jumps to fonts beginning with P or has the word "pen" in it. If I continue typing the name of the font eventually it will figure out that I meant Open and it will jump directly to the correct font.  I've gotten around this for now by typing the first letter of the font twice "oopen" because the first letter will inevitably disappear. Running current updated version of PS on iOS Sequoia 15.5 on Macbook Pro. 

When using the tool, it searches for the correction but returns with an error. I use it a lot for my work. I need help.

Render video is not working in photoshop

Other than time to create and time to execute, do adjustment presets offer any advantage over actions? I am trying to understand where they might fit in my workflow. Thanks.

I'm noticing this problem in the latest full version of Photoshop and the latest Beta version.  I've been using Photohsop for over 30 years with this exact same workflow/preferences and have never had this problem before.  When I enter Full Screen Mode using the F key, my panels are still visible, but when I use the Hand Tool to move an image around the screen, the panels disappear.  I can only bring them back by leaving Full Screen Mode (tapping F multiple times), then coming back into it.  When I reported this bug to the Photoshop Beta team, they suggested that I reset preferences.  I did, then the same problem returned 10 minutes later.  Please help me solve this because it's now too painful to work in Photoshop.  Thank you.

Specifically:The panel opens but the DOM <head> and <body> elements are empty (no HTML content loaded).Manual injection of HTML content via Developer Tools console works perfectly, so the panel DOM is accessible.The plugin manifest and files are correctly structured, including:manifest.json with required icon entries (icons specified both at root and inside entrypoints),index.html with minimal valid HTML content,main.js logging a message,All files are in the same plugin root folder.Tried loading the plugin both unpacked and packaged as .ccx with the same result.Cleared UXP cache and restarted Photoshop multiple times.Tried running Photoshop as Administrator.Tested on multiple user accounts on the same machine.Moved plugin folder location to root drive directory to avoid path or permission issues.No antivirus or security softwar
