Photoshop

In File > File Info > Raw Data, there's always data written to a file, even if just a new file saved as jpg.This data has proved impossible to be removed by any Windows-based software or online service. Is there a script or a way to stop PS from doing this? jpegoptim is capable of it, but it's not on Windows. To counter the inevitable 'whys' - why would it write the data in the first place? The rest of the xmp tabs are all empty, and stripping this info with jpegoptim does not break the file in any way.

Hello, I install the trial version of ON1, then I decided to uninstall it. But I have never been able to remove the plugin from the menu files -> automate. I have a mac intel with ac os 11.4, and photoshop 22.4.1Anybody got an idea to removed them from the menu? 

Hi. I have purchased a new laptop. And now I cannot activate an old Photoshop CS5 i have on it, because it says it is allready activated (on an old laptop I had which crashed)... how can I solve this problem ?It is a pc running windows.

Hello, I currently have a mid-2012 macbook pro that I'm looking to replace. I'm looking into PC's because I can get more for less. My current computer has:Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MBI was looking at something that is $500 or less. I was looking into the lenovo flex 4 for running photoshop, animate and illustrator. Is it powerful enough or should I be looking elsewhere? Thanks!

Often, I can't even see what's going on since the vector mask gone crazy is covering up what I actually want to transform. It seems like the moment you transform the group contents, even just move or slightly rotate etc., the mask gets scaled up approx. 3-fold and moves with the transform.This is a huge problem, for example, when I define a midpoint, then have to zoom out, zoom in again so I can see the transforming handle on top, then rotate by just a hair, like 0,1 degrees and the mask covers what I need to see. Well visible on attached screenshots, too.The lag is because the group contains a number of high res layers. Win 10, 26.5.0 and previous releases; 128 GB RAM, Quadro M5000, Dual Xeon setup of some sort.

I disabled Windows ink in the Huion Driver and it didn't work either.Anyone with the same problem?

For the life of me I cannot get rid of the Share button on the Options bar - it is covering up options when you go into various tools.    

This option sounds interesting, but it doesn't appear, as promised, in my Contexual Toolbar, no matter how many times I open and close photoshop. It's set for RGB and I have the latest 26.0 edition. I click a pixel layer as instructructed. Any suggestions?

i dragged a photoshop file into after effects and i’m trying to export save for web but i can’t preview nor save because photoshop keeps saying could not complete this operation. there was not enough memory available. i tried everything from clearing caches to formatting my save according to custom setting given by chatgpt but its no use it isnt working. someone please help me

Hi. I would like to change the default save format to jpg after editing a raw file. Right now psd is in there as the default and I have to go to the drop-down and choose jpg each and every time. I'd like to make jpeg the default. I used to have CS6 until I lost it due to operating system "upgrade" and it always defaulted to jpg. Thanks. 

This is something that JUST started the past 2x I've opened up Photoshop CC. I have used PS for YEARS, and never had this, so not sure if it's an update or a setting I turned on, and if the latter, HOW DO I TURN IT OFF? hahaSo basically when I choose a layer by merely clicking on the layer in the layer panel, it now puts up the transform frame (as seen in this pic) around the layer's object/item on the screen. This proves to be a very annoying feature (like I literally hiss and worse!!!) as it makes it difficult to drag it/move it without resizing, etc--especially for smaller objects. It used to only show up when I was "transforming" it... but there isn't even an option to approve the change (and thereby remove the frame). It's just there on any item once I click on that layer in the layer panel. this is zoomed in to show you it on the small period. How the heck am I to move it without transforming it unless I zoom WAYYYYY in and at that point, I can't see where I'm moving it to.

My Ps is a latest version. Set Font Style box does not work. This happned after installing following font. I do not know whether it the reason. I tried with reboot the system but it did not work. How to fix it? Video is also uploaded.   

I used to use the LUTs that I had downloaded to Photoshop quite often but haven't used them in a while.  Today, I tried to access some LUTs but I can't find them.   They are still listed in the Presets folder of my Mac (Finder > Adobe Photoshop 2025 > Presets > 3DLUTs) but I can't find them in my Photoshop workspace.  My photo is in RGB mode as I believe it must be but I still can't find them. . Help, please!

I have a new m4 max mac studio and an m3 pro macbook pro. Both macs are running macos 15.4.1 and photoshop versions 26.6 but this was happening prior to the latest update. On the laptop, using the brackets to resize brushes results in a fast/smooth increase/decrese in brush size. On the studio, brush resizing this way is very slow. When using the control+option drag method, it's smooth on the studio but 15 years of muscle memory is tough to reset. When I have the brush settings open, I can see the brush is jumping to preset sizes and not gradually resizing. Adobe support wasn't able to figure it out. We tried using rosetta and that didn't help either. I tried a logitech bluetooth keyboard and a mac bluetooth keyboard and that didn't help either. We reset preferences and that didn't help either. I'm supsecting there is some obscure setting I'm not finding. I've include a screenshot of the brush settings I'm currently using and the tools preferences.

I am deep into 3D imagery and now want to move over to digital stereography and am looking for a product(s) that allows me to define the distance in a 2D image from its photographer to nearby, middle and distant objects so that a 3D image or depth-map can be created.  My biggest problem is that I am a retired  pensioner and need to keep the costs way down.  Have you any recommendations for me please?  

I am using Adobe Photoshop (I keep updating to the latesst) on a Windows 11 PC, suddenly all my shortcuts including (Copy, Paste, Changing tools...) stopped working and only on Adobe Photoshop, and Photoshop Beta, other apps even Adobe like (Illustrator, XD, Premier, After Effects) are working normally. What i've tried:- Closing any app that can possibly have hierarchy in shortcuts- Resetting all settings for Photoshop- Running Adobe Photoshop as administrator- Uninstalling Adobe Photoshop, removing all setting files an reinstalling the app HELP!!!!!!!!!

Good morning When using the select and mask option in photoshop I appear to lose the second toolbar across the top which gives the otion of device or clour and has the refine hair button. It was working fine yesterday but has now disappeared . I have reinstalled photoshop but no luck. I'm sure I have probably hit a button by mistake. Anyone help me please?

Normally when one is signed out of the Creative Cloud and you open an Adobe application, as for example, Photoshop, you get a Sign in screen, however, in the same scenario with Photoshop 2024 (25.5.0 and 25.5.1) no such screen appears. In addition if one goes to Help and clicks Sign In nothing happens. The same applies if one is Signed In and wants to Sign Out using Photoshop 2024 (ver 25.0/25.5.1) nothing happens.   So far this is observed on Windows 10, macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 and macOS Monterey 12.7.3.   normal sign in screen from photoshop 2023       photoshop 2024 (25.0/25.5.1) Help menu after no sign in screens appears.
