Photoshop

Using Windows 11 Pro, Photoshop v26.2 won't let me click to open any image files. I have to drag and drop. When I right click on a file, click "Open with" and direct it to the photoshop.exe file it still doesn't work. It lets me click "always use" but then PS still won't open and returns to the "Open with" screen, which then only gives me the option to click "Allow once" which doesn't produce any reaction no matter how many times I click.Rolling back to v 25.12.1 fixed the issue.

Does really no one fixed the bug that is in the Photoshop since two versions back? When I try to use my move tool to drag element from point A to point B. When I drag it to point B it returns it to the point A for no reason. It's so annoying.  Could you please fix it?Many thanks.

Hello, New to photoshop and been looking around to figure this out but no luck. I have two images stacked in photoshop. The top layer is set to lighten but its showing parts of the bottom layer (background). How can I paint parts of the top layer not to show the background layer? I tried taking a brush and changed the black and white on the left side but didnt work. Thanks for your help!

Hi all, I am new to Photoshop. I am running PS on Windows 11 laptop. Whenever I open a Sony ARW raw file using PS CC, I can see PS window showing but my raw file just doesnt show up.  I tried to click somewhere on the PS window using my mouse and it gives off a "ding" sound like the appln keyboard/mouse focus seems to be focused on another popup dialog box but I just couldn't see the dialog box.  Then I pressed Enter key and PS continues loading my raw file.  Can I know is the issue really caused by some obscured popup dialog box belonging to PS? How can I see the popup?How can I disable this popup so that PS will open my raw file straight away? Thanks in advance!Mr Wong

I have tried using online services that cost money and the results are much better. I will have a way to customize it. Do the parameters give better results?

Dzień dobry,Od końca 2017 roku korzystam z pakietu CS6 Master Collection. Do dzisiaj nie było żadnych problemów. Niestety dzisiaj, po południu, nie mogę otworzyć programów z pakietu Master Collection (Photoshop i Illustrator). Od początku instalacji nie wykonywałem reinstalacji systemu, nie robiłem dezaktywacji pakietu na komputerze. Po wpisaniu klucza seryjnego pojawia się komunikat "wprowadzony numer seryjny został unieważniony". Numer seryjny jest aktywny na stronie Adobe w dziale "Produkty". Otrzymałem również informację, że Rozmawiałem z Państwem na facebooku, rozmawiałem na helpx.adobe.com i zostałem przekierowany tutaj. Jeżeli ma to jakieś znaczenie od 2017 roku programy zainstalowane są na systemie Windows 10. Bardzo proszę o pomoc. Niestety nie znam angielskiego, przepraszam za treść po polsku.Bartłomiej Kaszubski

I have next to nothing in my cloud and my document will not save. I've tried several times and lost the first document I had done.

 why is is that I dont have the "send to substance stager" option? 

Abro y opero con photoshop sin ningún inconveniente, sin embargo, cada vez que intento abrir una fotografía en formato .nef o si pretendo utilizar el filtro Camera Raw, en apariencia se abre la ventana que contiene el filtro con sus funcionalidades, pero en la pantalla no aparece esa ventana. Sé que se ha abierto algo porque la ventana principal de photoshop queda en segundo plano y cuando intento dar algún click, me produce el sonido de que no está disponible. Sin embargo, sigo sin ver la ventana de camera raw. Trabajo con windows 11 actualizado y no me había sucedido nada parecido con antelación. 

We miss the days when there was anti-aliasing on the edge of the brush, as seen at the green pointer on the image. Now it's all jagged as seen at the red pointer. Please help. We experience it on both PC and Mac. On Windows 10 and 11.  

With my uxp plugin I call the native Photoshop script “load files into stack”. I can successfully load it from UI and can select layers to be loaded into stack. Unfortunately the script stops after the first file has been loaded into stack albeit I have selected more than 1 file to be loaded into stack. Currently, there seems to be no direct Photoshop API feature that returns the quantity of selected files or that waits automatically for all files to load when using the native “load files into stack” command. HiIt's really annoying that, when editing a dynamic object made of one single layer, you can't add more layers. You have then to flatten its contents so that it has only one layer, as it did originally, once the modifications have been made.Is it not possible to let us add the layers we want, and to be able to save the dynamic object without this window explaining this restriction?Thanks

Hi,I've been experiencing a bug in Photoshop for quite a while.Sometimes, when I try to edit a vector shape using the A (Direct Selection) tool, nothing happens — no anchor points or handles appear.A temporary workaround is to draw a new shape (like a rectangle), which somehow makes the anchor points reappear on the original shape.Could this be fixed in a future update? Or is there something I might be missing?Thanks in advance! 

sory my english is bad i hope you guys can understand my question so i have this layer in png where I want to save it just as the whole outside shape of it so i can cut the custom shape on my other machine when i tried adding stoke it added stroke to every line. Can I add stroke to just the outside part of the shape? Is there a way I can save the png into jpg following the shape of the overall png?   

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.4.1 20250225.r.194 4c5f14b x64Windows 11 PC Generative expand to try to add the tip of a raptor's tail .  AT first the free crop wouldn't work so I tried restting and clearing in the crop tool dialog.  Not any better and lots of slowdowns and ghosting of crop outlines. Went over and over it with no joy and would only expand the whole image without chajnges in original image when I click on generative expand.  Also CTRl+z would not reverse it. Finally got it to work by exiting photoshop and recexecutihng from  creative cloud and doing it all over again then did a good job of adding tail feathers.  Very glitchy and frustrating for  a LONG term PS , LR etc user.   Not a beginner.

Hello all,I have this ongoing message that pops up when I try to genarate something on Photoshop (v 26.48). Computer specks: Intel (R) Core (TM) Ultra 7 155U16 Gigs of RAMIntel (R) GraphicsThis should be the right amount of prosessing power to genarate whole/parts of an image.Is there a fix for that?

(Pshop 25.12.1, OS Ventura 13.4.1) I can no longer use the plus sign in just about any font in the latest Photoshop. I can type it, but I can then no longer edit, select, or delete it. I can go to the Layers palette, select the layer and delete it (along with my entire text block). But the Text tool will not permit me to select the plus sign within a block of text. And this only happens if I put a space between the plus and the rest of my text. If there's no space between the plus and th rest of my text, I can select and edit it. Anyone else experience this?

I updated the OS on my iMac to Sequoia 15.3.2 tonight.  My Photoshop version is 26.4.1 Now Photoshop does not open; even when clicking directly on the main application icon (as opposed to the icon in the dock). I get the message: Could not complete your request because the file was not found. I tried moving the settings to the desktop so that new settings would be created, but that made no difference.  I tried restarting, and all the other dumb things that one is supposed to try.  This is super frustrating! If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

As a photographer, I often use generative AI features to bring life and dimension to my photos. However, it can feel incredibly restrictive when Adobe flags my edits as violating their TOS simply because the model is wearing a swimsuit. While I understand the need for guidelines, I believe we should have the ability to use AI tools even when working with models in such contexts. That's a broader conversation, but what’s especially frustrating is being unable to generate something as simple as a sky due to these limitations. It’s a disappointing constraint on creativity.
