Photoshop version 26.0.1 constantly crashed whenever I use the Remove tool. I can't get ALT + F9 to open actions on a Win 10 machine, Photoshop 25.11.0Any suggestions?

Having an issue where whenever I go to my Brush Presets window, I will click on a saved Clone Stamp preset and it will force itself on to a Brush preset instead.  No matter how many times I click on the Clone Stamp prest, it will revert to the brush.   I have to then choose the Clone preset I wanted, let it go to brush, hit "S" to go back to the Clone Stamp.I've worked this way for years with no issue until today.  Having the issue in the most current version of Photoshop and Photosohp Beta (as of 02/28/25) as well as the previous version of each. Yes, "Include size" and "Include tool" were checked when creating the Clone presets.I have tried resetting both the Brush tool and Clone Stamp.  I have rest Preferences and reinstalled them. I've tried deleting Photoshop and reinstalling it.  To no avail. 

Hello! I'm still fairly new to using photoshop and have been able to package files before, that be it on my school's MacBooks, however, now the package file is greyed out on my windows. I was told I shouldn't have an issue packaging it as long as I make sure it is no longer saved to the cloud which it's not. I've got pictures and fonts in my file, but I only vaguely remember my teacher mentioning something about how we need to do something extra with the text but I can't remember what that was for the life of me. I can't seem to find any other people having this same issue, and the ones that I've found who are having similar problems, I don't understand the answers that have been given. I'd appreciate any help, and if it can be dumbed down even better<3

I'm a heavy user of the shake reduction feature, which was eliminated in the next update past 22.2.0.  Not for actual shake reduction, I have VR in both the lens and the camera, but because it does a decent job of eliminating motion blur.  I shoot in very low light situations with a lot of movement, and in probably 10% of the cases I just can't manage a fast enough shutter to freeze the action.  Shake reduction has been the difference between selling a photo, or not. I'd like to commend Adobe for allowing us to continue using older versions of Photoshop.  I can even right click on a photo in Lightroom and say "edit in 22.2.0" instead of "edit in (latest)".  (26.3 at the time I write this.) And hey, there's probably some really nifty features in 26.3, but rather than incorporate two different versions of Photoshop into my workflow, I'll just keep using 22.2.0, thanks. Your mileage, as always, may vary.    Ron

Was mich aber immer wieder erstaunt: Die Generative Fill-Funktion blockiert schon bei minimal sichtbaren Hautanteilen – ob bei Strandaufnahmen in Badehose, Babybauch-Fotos oder auch bei anderen künstlerischen Gestaltungen.Ich frage mich, was hier genau das Problem sein soll. Welche Inhalte sollen eigentlich verhindert werden? So unproblematische Bildinhalte blockiert die Funktion und schränkt den kreativen Spielraum massiv ein. Falls Adobe diese Filterentscheidungen nicht besser umsetzen kann, stellt sich doch die Frage, ob man überhaupt von einer sinnvollen AI-Lösung sprechen kann.Habt ihr ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht? Wie geht ihr damit um, und habt ihr vielleicht Tipps, um diesen Einschränkungen zu entgehen? Ich bin sehr gespannt auf eure Meinungen und Anregungen. Beste Grüsse 

Hi there, I've been designing mainly in Illustrator the past two years and have recently had to start working in Photoshop for work and have run into a few things I just genuinely can't figure out the best way to do. One thing that I am trying to accomplish is resizing a smart object to match the exact size of another smart object. I am fairly familiar with the Transform tool and know how to resize smart objects that way, but I can't figure out how to match their exact dimensions this way. Normally in Illustrator, I would copy the height of one object and paste it into the height field of another object, but in Photoshop, I've noticed the height and width fields in the Properties panel are not editable for smart objects, so I can't do that. And when in the Transform tool, it looks like the height and width fields that pop up on top are only for scaling percentages. To give an example, if I have one 100x300px logo on an ad artboard in Photoshop and I need to place it's si

Hi,I buy Photoshop 26.1 to get at the RAW converter with masking methods (primitive as they are) I have loads of scanned negs and slides to use RAW converter controls on, gain acces to dehaze, clarity etc.made a load of masks to sort one photo out, 14 or more. opened it into Pshop 26.2, went back next day and all are gone, no .xmp file in the folder the file lives in, .A test discovers File>Open As > Camera RAW, denies an xmp file  being made. Only opening a raw file from a camera raw mode setting allows .xmp.I have a Canon EOS 70D and set to take images only as RAW. each one 24Mb !I get sent images not as raw, and so use Open As method.I have scanned negs, and slides , loads of, to fix., they are not native RAW files, denoise in RAW would be so useful for them, and all the tools it gives for sorting out images. Why is Adobe against non native RAW files ? Its exactly what we need for such. what STUPID THING is this. oh its not a raw file so sod off , it feels like

I logged into PS this morning, had a 'New Features' box appear and clicked OK.My interface to PS then changed to a minimalistic view and my previous imported PHLearn Presets on a drop down menu to the right of my main screen but to the left of my layers workflow screen, disappeared. I am not looking to import them again, so really hope they are just hidden within the 'new features' change. I am currently using version 26.4 (if needed) since this morning, but have updated a previous version since to try to resolve, so am sitting on 26.3 as I write.  Not overly technical minded, could someone give me the 'idiot's step-by-step to get the presets panel back.(See attached which indicates where it sat on the page. It could be closed and opened through an arrow facility as needed.)Thanks  Thanks

In Photoshop CS6 the flashing type cursor cuts through several lines of text (see image).  This makes it hard to select text since it is hard to tell which line the cursor will select (see image).  Can the text cursor be resized?  This happens no matter what type size is used or what paragraph settings are selected.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  I am using Windows 7 professional, service pack 1 on a Dell Precision T3500 with 8.0 GB RAM.

Si no mantengo el cursor , deja de verse la selección. Para no tener que hacer una nueva selección igual, ¿Qué debo hacer para que esta permanezca según la máscara y pueda hacer ajustes en las zonas seleccionadas?  (repito que si retiro el cursor, la selección deja de verse. Agradecido por cualquier tipo de ayuda.

Hi, I often have to fill out a multi-page downloaded PDF form with multiple text fields.  Some forms open in Acrobat reader and have fields that can be edited and saved.  For other forms, I open the PDF in PS, use the text tool to fill in the blanks, and then use File > Automate > PDF Presentation.  This works fine.  However, the file size of the saved PDF is way bigger than the original form, and I'm struggling to find the correct settings to keep the file reasonably small yet high enough resolution for printing.   When I first open the downloaded PDF form in PS, there are page settings.  And there are several choices in the Save Adobe PDF dialog.  I'm unsure of which settings will accomplish what I'm looking for. I'm using the latest version of PS for Windows, and I do not have the paid version of Acrobat.  I can use LibreOffice Draw to edit a PDF and it saves in a reasonable file size, but I'm more familiar with PS an

Opened up a large psb that was showing scratch disk full (with 200gb free).  File opened up no problem in 2024 version.

When I select multiple photos to merge, Photomerge only uses the last one selected, even though all of them are still selected. If you look at before/after, it splits the single photo in two, as if the halves had been merged.PS Elements 2020 for the MacMac Mini M1, 16GB memorySequoia 15.3 Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have seen numerous threads on this but no way to actually fix and and fix it so it never comes back. Not sure if this is another one of your so-called "improvements" but it is annoying and it takes time because once I insert the mask into another document I have to redo the mask all round the edges of the selection. I mean c'mon!!!  Please tell me this is a bug and not a thing. It is always like this. I have to update every few days and every update breaks something. As it is, the new photoshop version I just downloaded is positively the worst ever. Things that I used to do easily are now near impossible. My versin is 26.3 and it is the very worst ever. Took me four hours to do something that I thought would take a few minutes because everything is broken. Vew my attachment to see what I mean. I mean for the love of god PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU DO NOT TEST THINGS BEFORE YOU DUMP THEM ON US. AND I AM USING A GOOD GRAPHICS PROCESSOR.

hiI am using Photoshop version 23.11 and it creating huge temp files. one is around 16 gb. so i am not able to work on software as its takes 3-4 minutes for transforming. i am unable to solve this problem , i havent got this kind of problem in previous version. have a look at screenshot and help me out.

As the title says. When I try to export an image as a jpeg, Photoshop changes its size and resolution. I've tried looking around for a solution, which apparently used to be to simply use Save As instead of Export, but since Photoshop now only offers .PSD .PSB, .PDF and .TIFF file formats when using Save As, that method doesn't seem doable anymore.  Ideas?

Hello, I've had this issue through the last 2 updates to Photoshop and my Mac system. Right now, I'm in the IOS Sequoia 15.1.1 world of Mac systems. Whenever I search through the Photoshop program for a previous document to open it, I get a long list of generic icons whereupon I can never tell which image I'm looking for. Sometimes, oddly, if I run my cursor across the icons, the images reveal themselves, sometimes not. There is no correct preview image so I need to keep opening documents until I can see which one is the one I need. Does anyone else recognize this issue and can help me fix it? Below, is a screen grab of what I see when I'm looking for a Photoshop image in one of my folders. Any directions beside pulling out my hair? Not sure if it's a quirk from Photoshop or Apple (or a combo).

After upgrading to Sequoia 15.3.1, I can't open Photoshop. I get the error message "The application 'Adobe Photoshop 2025' can’t be opened." Fixed. Uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop.

Hello,How can I print within Photoshop CS6  a file/graphic design that was "white" colour to an OKI Pro7411WT printer? This printer can print white, that is why I purchased it. The whole idea is to print as seen on the PC screen so with all colours included in one pass....  I have studied various manuals and Youtube videos, so in photoshop I have set in the CMYK design the "white colour" in a separate top layer and the other colours in another layer. The background is transparant.   Setting the "White toner on"/ Printer manages the colour >>>   but....when I print there is a white shade/ block over the print.... So not separateChanging the print settings to "Adobe manages the colour" does not really help either Any suggestions are highly appreciated  

Hello! Ive been having an issue where I upload photos directly from my computer I have windows 11. When I upload them to facebook they look fine on my computer screen, but when i go to view them in facebook on a different device like my cell phone they are over saturated and faces look orange. Ive tried to play with color setting in photoshop to fix the issue but no luck. I've uploaded photos before without this happening, so I dont  know if its just windows 11 or facebook trying to condence the photo? Or if its photoshop? all my devices and programs are up to date. 

Sony recently replaced my non-repairable RX100M7 with a new camera of [same] model, now called RX100M7A. Lightroom Classic (up to date version, including Camera Raw) does not recognise the raw files (it did on the previous M7).  Any suggestions welcome, thanks.
