Photoshop

I need to know how to disable Trackpad Gesture to Rotate View. When I edit on a trackpad I accidentlly rotate constantly. So annoying.

Photoshop 26.3 consumes 52% of system RAM or 30GB on launch while 'Building Color Conversion Tables' - I tried a reset of the program and I unstalled Photoshop using the Clean Uninstall tool and reinstall to no success. The program still works and I have plenty of overhead. The program will consume other gig or two of memory if I open two or three, 20+ layer PSD files and then once closed, it will release that ram back to the 30GB it consumed.  Let me know if you need more information from me.

Using the Gradient tool, I can click and drag a gradient on a layer or layer mask, however the controls that allow the gradient to be adjusted and repositioned do not show.This is the same whether 'Gradient' or 'Classic Gradient' is selected.If I want to adjust the gradient I have to draw a completely new gradient until a get a gradient that I like, there is no way to adjust or reposition a gradient as the gradient controls (if they are there) are not visible. This is on an M1 Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1, Photoshop 26.2.0

Lets say I have a text layer and need to edit it. If I go in and add text, that text is always in the default font (Myriad Pro, ugh) no matter what I do. I am constantly having to highlight my text and change the font back to what it's supposed to be. How can I resolve this issue?

How can i make real football pitch to second photo ? i want to lines and footballers. And this footballer and line effect .  

PS 2020 had been working fine w/ my MacBook Air on Monterey 12.7.5.  Now it won't load.  Presumably, Adobe and 12.7.5 are no longer supported.I don't seem to be able to update the Air beyond Monterey.What are my options besides buying a new computer?Outside the Adobe family, are there other apps that I could buy outright w/ comparable power to PS?Thanks much.

I opened a RAW file in Photoshop 25.11.0 (2024 ?) I set the image to AUTO using that button.Now I want to do something else to the image - Without the AUTO setting.I know that you can open it again in RAW, click the ... icon and then see a popup menu with Reset to Default which will remove the AUTO setting.Is there any way to ADD that option for faster selection, to the LIGHT menu option. I friend has a MAC and sent me a screenshot showing that option in the Light drop down menu. Is this possible on windows?

Is it just my impression and how can I improve Photoshop's performance on my Intel iMac?I run the Adobe suite on my Intel iMac Retina 5K 27-inch from 2020 (3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB, 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Mac OS X 14.7.4), primary Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat. And they all just seem pretty lame not only when handling large files of serveral GB.Processing and saving psb files in Photoshop for example the software merely uses 30% of available CPU power, even hardly any GPU power, according to a system monitoring tool. I have 400 GB of free disk space and never lack RAM. Despite the obvious performance reserves opening, saving, exporting files takes forever, sometimes even just clicking or changing the workspace view lets the annoying colorful "Mac wheel" spin forever before I can continue working (with no apparent CPU overload). Bonjour, quand je veux enregistrer un fichier en pdf sur photoshop sur mac, je fais imprimer, parametre d'impression et enregistrer en pdf, hors ca ne marche jamais, le fichier n'apparait nulle part, et je suis oblige d exporter en png, et de convertir ce png en pdf apres, quelqu'un a une solution car j en ai marre, 2025, on peut meme pas enregistrer un pdf sur mac.

Bonjour,Suite à des problèmes techniques de PC (Windows 11, réinstallation, et problème de disques durs ) , j'ai dû renommer temporairement un disque dur contenant mes photos de la lettre "O", ( les photos étant dans le dossier "MES IMAGES" avec de nombreux sous dossiers bien sûr, classement surtout chronologique). à la lettre "G". "MES IMAGES" est donc passé du disque "O" au disque "G". Suite aux réparations je suis revenu à un nouveau disque dur ayant la lettre "O" .  Maisj'avais fait du travail sur Lightroom entre temps, concernant les images sur "O". Dans tout les cas, c'est presque le même contenu, même catalogue, mais à chaque étape il y a eu du travail fait sur "O" et "G" pendant une ou deux semaines: suppression, ajout ou modification de photos. Ainsi le dossier sur "G" contient environ 110 000 photos, celui sur "O" 90 000 après nettoyage... "G" est toujours là dans la liste de mes dossiers lightroom (tout comme "O") , mais avec de multiples  points d'i

Good morning everyone, maybe someone has already raised the question.I received my new mac a few days ago and installed Photoshop, LRc and other apps. However, I noticed that the colors I see in PS are different when I open CamRaw. I checked all the settings of each component and they all appear to be the same. (I list them below).- Raw camera preferences: ADOBE RGB- PS color profile: Adobe RGB- BENQ SW270C monitor set to ADOBE RGB- Mac settings, monitor: ADOBE RGB.- OS- Monitor recently calibrated.- I only have Single monitorAm I missing something?Has anyone had the same problem?Thanks for any replies

I have a question. Could you tell me how to do in below?I have two frames in a one of the Photoshop tab and I created a "Group 1" folder in the pane "Properties". It's positioned in the right corner of the Window.However, When I use exposure setting of adjustment layer function against a one of layers that positioned under the "Group 1". It applies the same exposure setting against a one more layer even it's not under the "Group 1" folder.I guess it's not apply the exposure setting except for under the "Group 1" folder usually. About my environment is that I use Photoshop ver.22.2 for 360 photo editing. It's final version of editing 360 photo in Adobe Photoshop. Could you tell me how to apply exposure settings against a specific layer to do comparing the color of the two frames using Adobe Photoshop ver.22.2. Thank you for your help. Best regards,FYIJTRIG(surveillance system) and JTRICK cyber attack issue before we were born.

Hi guys ! On my work photoshop, when I create a new file, whatever the dimensions, I have automatically the marks of the "security sides", sorry I'm not sure how to name that in english 😂 And it's not something I set up myself, I don't know how it got there but it's super useful, and I would like to put it on my other mac, but I can't find how to activate it anywhere, and the "marks" in the menu are deactivated and I don't know how to activate them either, can someone help by any chance ? 🥲   

A white line of an image has appeared in Photoshop that moves around with the mouse, except when reaching the top line controls, but returns when I take the mouse back to the image. How do I remove it?I have tried reinstalling Photoshop but the outline is still there on all images, so it is not part of any image. I would take a screenshot but as soon as the mouse leaves the Photoshop page, the outline disappears. Please advise

Hi All,I trying to use Photoshop's Super Resolution. Have PS and LRC on Creative Cloud - all latest versions on my MacMini M2 Pro, Sonoma 14. I downloaded Camera Raw but I can't find it on my system as a separate Application as (the video I am watching) asks that files are opened directly from Camera Raw to access Photoshop Super Resolution. Please help me find Camera Raw AND Super Resolution. Thanks!

 Photoshop 2025 (26.3)  will not open.  Keep getting  "Adobe Photoshop 2025 quit unexpectedly" error message.  I am running on a M1 MacBookPro with Sequoia 15.3.1 with 64 GB memory and up until last week it was running fine both as a plug-in to Lightroom and as stand-alone.  I have run Apple diagnostics and had extensive discussions with Apple and everything on MacBook has come up fine.  Reinstalled MacOS.  Un-installed PS and reinstalled.  Still doesn't open.   Lightroom Classic (14.2) runs fine.

I've not yet tried either -- but does anyone have any initial observations on this?  How do the features and interfaces compare between Photoshop for iPhone and Photoshop for iPad?

Hello Adobe, I just upgraded to the latest version of photoshop - 21.1.1, and now I am running into a very annoying bug which makes working with text difficult. When I press backspace to remove what I just typed, photoshop lags and sometimes respects the backspace command.  At the moment I have to press backspace about a 100 times to remove one line of text from whatever I'm typing. It doesn't matter which font I'm using.  Arial performs the same as all the other fonts do. I unchecked all the type preferences and noticed that nothing is different. So... how can I type?I'm running the latest version of Windows 10  Thanks, have a nice day, -  Tyler

Hi so I've been facing a problem where I am working on a school project and it requires me to use the magic wand tool to take my selection and delete the background but no matter what I do it doesn't work I use an Acer goes 16 I don't know if its the computer I use or the program but if someone knows how to fix the problem that would be awesome.

Hi,    All of a sudden Photoshop has been causing blue screens of death with varying "STOP"codes.my system is brand new with new hardware, its a brand new build that i did about 6months ago. the pc doesnt blue screen at any other time, only with photoshop. i even tried a full format and reinstall of windows to no avail.Ive ran diagnostics on all my hardware. ram, harddrives etc and all report good health. i can only assume that photoshop is the issue somehow.heres the system specsi7 10700k32gb DDR4 3200mHz rammsi z490a-pro motherboardGTX1060 6gb graphics card 500gb m.2 ssd.250gb ssd500gb hdd1tb hdd (all in good health)

Hi,I'm working with our local historical society and we have a journal that was written in the 1800s.  Most of the pages are clear and legible but on others, the ink has faded and it is hard to read.  We are trying to get these faded pages enhanced so we can do a character recognition scan and eventually translate from German to English.  I have some intermediate photoshop skills and have had a little success with duplicate layers set to multiply.  I'm looking for any recommendations of ways to enhance the text and reduce the yellowing of the text and the other dark spots.  I've attached a sample page.

I had upgraded to v26 a while ago, but it crashed all the time, so I went back to 25.12. It also crashes frequently. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem keeps coming back.  I don't need a lot of the new features, I just want a version that doesn't crash so frequently. Thanks in advance for the advice (running OS 14.5 on 2019 Mac Pro - I always hold off upgrading OS for a few months)

I use Save for Web to optimize for the web, obviously. As of this past week, when I go to save anything, there is now a lag of 20-30 seconds before the actual save screen comes up where I can name the file and save it. Hitting ctrl+shift+alt+s pops up quickly, and I can adjust the file type and quality, but as soon as I hit SAVE, I come to a standstill. This is happening on multiple computers, one of which is brand new. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  I have installed older versions, and they are all doing this, but if I go to my school PC, which has my school Photoshop on it, that one still saves fairly quickly.  So, what has happened to my work account? Why did it take a nosedive when it comes to saving via SAVE FOR WEB?
