Photoshop

I want to remove people from picture. Instead of removing it changes the person to a random person. 

I'm currently using Procreate animation assist to animate short films and photos on my ipad.  I use mixer brushes on top of photograph/film files to make a flickering glitchy  effect as per the file.  I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be better to use an adobe alternative on my Macbook? \i'm an artist and would like to ensure a more professional process or is Procreate (animation assist) OK for what I'm doing?

In latest MacOS update, contol-option keys are now used to zoom screen if any of the zoom options are enabled.  This results in control-options keys not working to resize burshes.  How can I change the shortcut keys to reszie burshes to something else?

Does anyone have a recommendation for this? All of the presets are either or - not sure what the best compromise is. I am working with images shot on a 150mp camera that require intense retouching with many comps and adjustment layers. I'm currently using these settings. The files are 10 to 20 GB in size PSBs

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an issue with Photoshop 2025 where the software shuts down automatically whenever I try to use the "Remove Background" feature. This has been happening consistently, and I’ve tried restarting both Photoshop and my computer, but the problem persists.Has anyone else encountered this issue? I am running MacOS 13.5.2 with Lightroom Classic 12.5 and Photoshop 2024 I like to keep my Photoshop edits complete with all layers etc, so I can go back and redo if needed and because of file sizes save as .psb  As .psb files do not sync to the cloud I duplicate the image in Photoshop, flatten it to reduce the size and then save as a .tif file. I have tried saving as the original name and under a new name. The saved images are filed by Photoshop in the folder with the original raw image.  The bug is that Lightroom is not cataloging the saved images. It was doing so prior to Photoshop 2024 Roy

Can pattern preview via script in an older version of Photoshop?

I need the 2022 version of Photoshop because my setup is incompatible with the latest versions. Does anyone know if Adobe still offers the option to download it?

Hi ~ After making edits to a raw image in Photoshop Camera Raw I want to save the image; perhaps to make further edits at a later time, perhaps not, but either way I do not want DNG files. How do I prevent images  from being saved as DNG files from PS camera raw?  Thank you in advance for assistance ~ 

Dear, When I try to resize my tool by Alt + right click + drag the picture I work on is zoomed in unproportional way.It makes me adjusting the tool in the wrong way because I can't see the scale of my tool with the good picture proportions.As soon as I stop the right click the picture goes back to its previous size.thank you for your help

I work at a cabinet company and I am in need of some help to make a process faster.  We have alot of door styles and I am in charge of photoshoping all of our color offerings for all of our marketing materials. Each time we add a new door I need to photoshop all of the colors onto it. I have 15 new doors and 21 stains that I need to edit onto them so a total of 315 separate images of our doors. My usual process is I take a door stained in our "Natural" and edit the colors to match the next stain on my list. I'm wondering if I can have one file that has separate "canvases" that I can edit all at once instead of having to edit each file individually. If anyone knows a better way to do this please let me know, thank you for any help!  

Is it possible to have Photoshop use the name of a layer to name the file when saving the image? [See attached image forwhat I mean by layer name.] Could I then have Photoshop run this script at the end of an Action that I've built? [I think this might be possible using a script but I'm not a programmer.] Thanks for any info. Stephen.

This has been happening to me for a long time. When placing vector objects either through File > Place link or Copy > Paste I get uneven %.I usually do File > Place > Option > Bounding box. I've discovered that if the illustator file has an artboard that is larger than the graphic in it, I can get correct % by choosing File > Place > Option > Media box (or any choice that uses the Illustrator file's artboard instead of artwork. This bugs me because then when moving/resizing the placed object, I don't have an accurate or easy way to know what size the object is. And if the Illustrator artboard is the same size as the object then all bets are off and it seems like no matter what I get uneven %. Photoshop 26.2Illustrator 29.1Mac Studio 2022 OS 15.0.1

Pasting new text into existing text layer does not allow for unformatted to appear but it takes the PSD default Myriad instead...

To Community,FYI: I am using Photoshop 26.2.0, on a windows 10 desktop.I don't know if this is a bug or it just how the Adobe Camera Raw tool is supposed to work?If I directly open a .dng file from within Photoshop, the Camera Raw window opens automatically as expected.  I was going to crop and adjust the horizon line in the photo first so I clicked on the  "Copy, Rotate, Geometry" icon in the upper right hand side of the window.  But I relized that I wanted to make this non-destructive first.  So, I clicked the open button at the bottom of the Camera Raw window and the image opened in Photoshop.  I unlocked the layer then  converted the image to a Smart Object.I then use the Camera Raw filter from the filter menu.  When the Camera Raw window opened it looked pretty much the same but now when I attempted to click on the  "Copy, Rotate, Geometry", it is now just the "Geomtry" icon.  Is this normal?Also, by opening the .DNG file and then click

On literally every app I ever used, ctrl Z undos the last action. And then the second last. And so on.I just got the new PS ( worked only on PS elements before) and spent already half a hour pulling my hair as to why ctrl Z only works once.  WTH?? Ok found forums, need to change stuff in the prefs etc etc. First of all, WHY?? Second, it still doesn't work as it should.When in text mode, I can't undo anything unless I quit text mode. Then, the undo undos EVERYTHING I did while in text mode, instead of just letting  me correct my last typo or whatever deletion error, backwards in history, one after the other.  This is basic text functionality. This doesn't make any sense.Why would anyone change something so internationally and historically functional as ctrl Z??

Ever since updating to the 2025 version, all my pattern folders are missing. Even after reinstating them, they are wiped again when photoshop is reopened. This also periodically happens to my library folders as well. Any ideas?

Using photoshop on my macbook pro 16 inch M1. At frequent and random times, it disabled zooming in via trackpad pinching when Photoshop is open and being used. This disables the pinch to zoom across every app open on the Mac. The bandaid fix right now, is to open system preferences, and go to trackpad and switch the pinch to zoom setting off and on again, which restores the function. But this is not ideal - it always disables it again after some time, so you have to go back into system preferences and fix it again. This only happens when Photoshop is being used. Can Adobe get a grip, and fix this??

photoshop cs6 has recently popped up saying there is an error code 213:11. i have deleted the folders Adobe PCD and SLData. nothing. i tried deselect the Read-Only checkbox on the SLStore folder. nothing

en photoshop v26.2 al momento de seleccionar photoshop gestiona los colores no aparecen los perfiles de colores habituales la lista larga de perfiles desaparecida, solo te da dos opciones. debido a este inconveniente usare versiones anteriores ya que para impresion si o si necesito gestionar el perfil de color en photoshop 

Maddeining issue. When creating files with layers in Photoshop 26.2, rows of dots are appearing on all layers. The only way to get rid of them to to erase from every layer. I've had to revert to PS 25.12.1 for the time being. Anyone else seeing these? Mac OS 14.7.2, 2023 Mac. This question was asked by someone in 2017 and she never got an answer.
