Photoshop

Hello,I'm having issues with my photoshop. After updating my Nvidia driver to version 5xxxx. it had had problems with detecting the GPU.Right now my driver is 566.36 (Geforce GTX 1650) . I did a clean install and manually assigned a processor in the Nvidia control panel. This worked for a day but reopening photoshop I get the same error.

I recently used the color selection tool to grab a color for use as a background. A kind of light brown.After I left Photoshop, my browser opened a window to Amazon offering to sell me eye makeup products in the same color I mentioned above. How did this happen ? Thanks

When using the patch tool or a lasso tool, it is not working to make a straight line using the shift key, I reset my preferences and it still isn't working. Are there any updates on why this won't work correctly? I do not have a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse, so that is not my issue. I have reset preferences and that did not fix it. I have a computer lab with 19 computers and it will not work correctly for any student or myself. We recently did the 2025 update to all Adobe products.  If someone knows how to fix this, can you give me instructions on how you did this to make straight lines. This feature used to work, but now it will not. 

I believe this behavior is new to 26.1.0; i.e. it's been doing this for a while, and I suspected it could have workflow consequences only I didn't run up against it in real life until now.  Workflows or automations that manipulate history can break. Going back to a previous state to copy a layer style will now discard all intermediary steps. If one of those steps involves nested smart objects, one could easily throw away a substantial amoun of work by doing something that was harmless until very recently.  This has to be an error, as there's no user interface benefit nor conceivable use case for undoing a Copy Layer Style event (without bending over backwards to create far-fetched hypothetical situations). This is on MacOS 13.6.7

Had new IMAC 2 weeks. In Photoshop in last few days I added a text layer and mystery text appeared. Now it is appearing on image layers as half a 'Ha'. Notice in screenshot those mystery Ha are appearing in the black layer preview on the right. Weird! Is this a known issue?

Hi I have a photoshop file that has alot of layers, and I would like to be able to convert all the selected layers in one go to separate Smar Objects, the problem is that when you do that it flatens all the layers in to one Smart obeject layer, but I want to keep all the layers but have them as Smart Objects instead.  Is there a script that I can run to do this, I have been searching but with out any luck. Hope some one has a script that can do this. 🙂 

Hi everyone, I have just accsidently transformed a layer into 3D and I don't know how to get it back to 2D. I tried pressing the undo button but it didn't do anything...I have not saved my documnt before turning it 3D otherwise I would have just closed the document and not saved it then reopened the origional. Please help!!!best wishes,Brandon

Hi all, up until the last couple days, I haven't had any issues with using shift-click while using the brush tool to paint a straight line. I'm not sure what changed, but now no matter what I try, I can't paint a straight line anymore. I've tried resetting the tool, resetting all tools, updating the software, and restarting my computer. I've looked at other posts about this issue but nothing seems to be working for me. I really need to use that function for work and I have a feeling that there's just some small setting that got changed on accident. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated! Computer: Mac Mini M1 (2020) MacOS: Ventura 13.0.1 Photoshop version: 24.1.0

After I saved the file yesterday, I try to open it again and this message appears, download an older version that is compatible with the same version of the file before the update (26.0) , but to no avail, and I installed the latest version, but to no avail. Have you encountered this problem and found a solution? 

I started seeing that nasty window again. When you have to upload a lot of photos, it’s a real pain. Where can it be closed forever?

I've been using the eraser tool in PhotoShop all day, every day, and it suddenly stopped working. I'm on the correct layer, no layers are locked, and the other tools work. I've tried closing and reopening the file and restarting the application. Any thoughts as to what may be going on here?And then not working AI REMOVE 

Can someone help me how to perform this process?Automatically combine two images into one layered PSD or TIFF image, then save.Let's say I have a bunch of original images and retouched images in a folder.Like this,image_01.tiffimage_01_retouched.tiffimage_02.tiffimage_02_retouched.tiffI would like some kind of script to automatically add retouched image into the second layer in the original image and then save the file. (It would be amazing if it could also change the file names as well)Is this possible?I'm doing this manually, and as you can guess, it's painful.By opening both images and dragging the retouched image into the original image. Then save the file.

Hi. I'm having an issue with text changing color on it's own.I recently got a new laptop and had the same Photoshop version installed as I had on my last one. I never changed any settings on either of them. I transferred my projects from my old to my new laptop, and when I click to edit text that's already there, it changes color on it's own.Currently, the color is dark green but when I click it instantly changes to light green and there is no way I can color it back.I tried going through the settings on both laptops making sure that the settings are same, but that doesn't help either. Went through countless forums and videos but nothing helps 😞This is work related so it's super important to me! 

Hello. I really need your help.Generative fill in Photoshop has stopped working. On any files and layers in the selected area a black fill is generated. I attach a screenshot with an example. And recently everything worked correctly.

Photoshop suddenly stopped recognizing pen pressure from my tablet yetsterday. I'm using a Wacom Bamboo Connect tablet on a Windows 8 computer with Photoshop CS6 I've tried:1. uninstalling the drivers2. checking wintab files were gone from system32 and sysWOW643. restarting4. reinstalling drivers5. checking new wintab files are present6. restartingI updated photoshop (and repeated those 5 steps), reinstalling the drivers as an admin, reset the paintbrush tool, but no matter what I do, when I go to the Shape Dynamics option in Photoshop, I get the triangle with the exclamation point telling me that I need a pressure sensitive tablet.I've tried plugging the tablet in and then opening photoshop.I've tried opening Photoshop and then plugging in the tablet.I updated the drivers for all of the hardware on my computer. I've tried the pressure sensitivity in two other (non Adobe) programs and it works there, so it doesn't seem like a problem with the tablet itself.I've tried every solution I c

Buenas tardes, alguien podria ayudarme a resolver un problema en photoshop 2025, al querer exportar usando el save for web, despues de dar los settings de mi archivo y destino cuando lo quiero grabar me arroja una alerta la cual dice que no se puede ejecutar la accion, que no hay permisos de escritura, he revisado permisos y todo esta correcto, reinstale el photoshop y no se soluciona el problema, uso una MAC M1.   De antemano gracias y saludos!

It looks like I can't do anything with videos in my Photoshop, I need help!PS version is 26.2.0 and I run it on a Surface Pro 11 with Windows 11. (see system info attached).The file used is an .MP4 / H.264 / 30 fps (see attached). If I try to place embedded on a new file, it tells me 'Could not place because no parser or file format can open the file'.If I just right-click on the video and open it with PS, the result is 'Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file'. I tried with several files, however, and the result is the same. How's this possible? Thanks in advance for your help.  

I have looked around quite a bit and can't find an answer for this but I am very confused because it seems like this comes up several times a day for me so I KNOW I am not the only one with this problem.I am working with a selection in Photoshop on the iPad and I need to make a small nudge of placement or rotation but I cannot make any precise adjustments because the snapping feature is on and will override my movement with a snapped movement to an invisible aligned preset - this seemingly cannot be disabled so I end up trying several times and just giving up or accepting a subpar result because snap aligns my selections in an undesired way.Please tell me I am just missing something and there is a way to use move without snap Thanks.

Im working on a GIF and the timeline doesnt recongize the selected time stamp i selected but when i export its perfectly okay.

I open a dng file, created on Iphone 16 pro max and NEF files created on Nikon, directly into photoshop 26.2, The image size shows 8.58 m, 750px x 1000px, 2.5” x 3.33”, at 300 pixels/inch in photoshop image size.This prints a pixelated print on 17x22 inch paper. When I bring the same dng file directly into lightroom, and bring it into photoshop 26.2 using "edit in Photoshop" I get the following results: 129M, 4112px x 5482px, 17.133” x 22.842”, 24 pixels/inch in photoshop.A perfect print. What is photoshop doing that produces such a difference.

I am ready to pull all of my hair out...WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?  I have plenty of storage, I have purged, I am using a computer I got THREE DAYS AGO! Cannot export anything as data sets. Please help this is for my JOB!
