How can I create this type of background ( not the lens all part) in photoshop?

26.2 / win11Exactly what the title says. I don't have any sticky/filter keys on, I don't have any modifier key selected. How do I fix this? Happens even when closing/re-opening. Not a big fan of using a mouse if I don't have to.

Is there a list of tool modifiers? For example, when using the brush tool, alt-right click changes the cursor to a preview of the brush size that you change by sliding left or right. A great feature! But I don't know where I learned about it.  It leaves me wondering what other tool modifiers are available.  There is a great list of keyboard shortcuts.  But I haven't found a list of tool modifiers.  That is,  a list of tools that shows what modifiers are available for each tool.

when i right click on layer in photoshop, show all the blending option in popup like this.

I have a group of layers that represent a panel. I have duplicated this group and moved it so that only part of this group is visible within the artboard. This means that some layers in the group are out of the artboard's bounds.I noticed that if I change one of these layers' style or move it, the whole layer jumps outside of the artboard. It's rather frustrating, and it ruins the hierarchy of my layers. If I try to put it back into the folder, Photoshop repositions that layer to the center, which is also not the desired effect.Is there a way to turn this off? Is this a bug? Thanks for the help!

When you use the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop to mask out stuff, using a wacom tablet. Half of the times the scrub panniing to move the picture while adding points to the mask is not working, which is very frustrating! This bug appeared a couple of years ago.  Im using a PC with the latest version of photoshop with a 24" wacom cintiq pro. Windows 11

When I try to reinstall my photoshop/illustrator (CS6) on my new computer and it gives me an error saying that the software is activated on too many computers. When I log into the Adobe website it shows no computers are activated. How do I proceed with installation.

Not sure why, but at random times, whenever i try and make new path or a shape path, the pen tool does not connect  its points as im creating a path. Restaring photoshop corrects the issue but its a hassle having to do so. See image below for a visual. Im running the latest version on photoshop (26.2) on a MacbookPro Sequoia 15.2

Hi,I see a spatter effect tool , one click and its a spatter with varying size dots and varying opacity.but as soon as I drag the tool along I get the exact same pattern laid down repeatedly so it becomes a streak with normal dense centre.I want what might be termed a spatter cap airbrush, as you spray from left to right you get dots of varying sizes appear, not a continous line. and not a repeat pattern, so just like the real thing.I am doing edges of small waves, wanting to paint along the edge and get water spatter.I could dip a toothbrush in white paint and finger tip stroke it using a frisket mask if it was a painting or scale model, but I also would reach for my spatter cap and fit it to the airbrush, adjust the pressure and spatter it., moving left to right. Which tool number and settings gives this ? I am CS6 Cheers Merlin

i have monterrey 12.7.6 and PS 23.5.1, any advice? When I open a file it´s flickering. Any advice? Thanks for help! 

Sur différentes configurations machines aussi bien Apple que PC avec du matériel à jour et performant, il m'arrive extremement souvent, étant par exemple sur l'outil correcteur, de vouloir passer au pinceau d'une simple pression de la touche "B".  Je vois l'outiil qui passe en pinceau et revient instantanément à l'outil précédent. Même en pressant plusieurs fois d'affiler sur la touche de l'outil que je souhaite (un peu par énervement), ça n'arrête pas de passer de l'un à l'autre et je fini par faire "MAJ+B" pour passer à mon pinceau. Alors que la touche MAJ sert normalement à passer à l'autre sous-outil, par exemple pinceau mélangeur dans mon cas. C'est compliqué de s'y retrouver surtout quand on a l'habitude de travailler en plein écran sans voir la barre d'outil.Je sais qu'une préssion longue et maintenanue de la touche permet temporairement d'utiliser un autre outil et de revenir au précédent et c'est génial, mais là c'est bien une simple préssion rapide et normale du clavier.

Whenever I try to open any cloud document on my PC using the Photoshop App it gives me that message. I know it's not a sync conflict because I can open it through the Photoshop browser on the same PC and my Ipad. I tried all the troubleshooting methods I found but still no luck (logging off and ending adobesyncconverter task, reinstalling, updating graphics drivers, etc) the symbol on each file is a grey cloud and I tried choosing "Make availalbe offline always" but it gives the message, "couldn't make item available offline".

Allerdings möchte ich halt gern für jede reihe den Buchstaben davor haben, im Zählwerkzeug kann man ja leider nicht den Text dazu ändern. Wäre schön wenn jemand einen Lösungsansatz hätte bin noch recht neu in Photoshop  Mfg Alex 

Hi! Probably the million + user having this, but i can't seen to downoad the neural filters. If i click on it they stay grey. I've tried many solutions as well as looking here. Nothing works. It's a bit frustrating.. this bug has been known for years i see, and no fix in an update.. Running photoshop 24 and 25 on macos sonoma 14.6.1

As can be seen by the screentshot Photoshop is using nearly 15 GBs of memory despite having no files open. If I close and reopen Photoshop it returns to just under 2 GBs. This happens on this PC but also 2 other Macs that I use. This isn't a new bug by any means as I recall having the same issue over a year ago I just learnt to live with it. I have to remember to close and reopen Photoshop every so often. It's that every file I work on in Photoshop holds onto a little bit of RAM even after I have closed the file and over time this eventually leads to my computer malfunctioning due to lack of memory if I forgot to close Photoshop. 

I'm having an issue with opening the file with Photoshop web version. The file gets stuck at 'Reading Photoshop Format, 100%'. I’ve already tried restarting my PC, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I saw suggestions about deleting all beta apps, but didn't work for me. The file size is only 12 MB, so I don’t believe size is the issue. I can open other files, only this specific file won't work.. Which is very frustrating. Please help me resolve this issue so I can open the file :,(  

Hi, I really loved the way this filter worked last year and I used it quite a bit. However, something seems to have changed over the last twelve months... the results seem watered down in comparison. In speaking with co-workers and other designers in my community, we all have had similar experiences. Before it seemed that the filter did a fantastic job, in almost every case, on the entire image. Sharpening some aspects that needed it, adjusting contrast, removing noise, and bringing out details that seemed to be practically lost. On rare occasions there were errors, but those mostly seemed to be a result of file size or image complexity. Now the filter seems to hardly do much at all. It appears to focus more on faces and but produces lees impressive reults overall. Frequently running the filter does not seem to make any noticeable improvement at all. What has been changed with the Photo Restoration Neural Filter and is there any chance of reversing the changes or ma

Hi! I'm trying to draw circuits. I LOVE that there's an option to draw straight lines continuously now in Photoshop by holding down shift.What I'd love is the ability to hold down shift and another key to both set the line as straight AND constrain the angle to 90 degrees.It would be great to be able to specify other user angles as well.Is there another method to do this that I'm missing?Unfortunately every time I restart the drawing there's kind of a paint blob where I begin, so drawing discontinuously is not as clean.

I have two separate folders on my desktopOne contains 50 photos all in the JPEG formatThe other contains 50 photos in the PSD format I have been embedding photos one at a time using FILE - PLACE EMBEDDED - PLACE - SAVE.in order to establish each photo as a LAYER. Is there a way to transfer or copy all 50 photos into photoshop all at once and at the same time, createa layer for each individutal photo?  

Hi all, I don't usually post on forums like this but ive truly hit a roadblock on this issue. I use a Xencelabs tablet for drawing and photoshop is my main drawing software. Last night, I ran into an issue with version 25.12.1, where the framerate had drastically dropped lower than what I wanted to work with while drawing. I finally bit the bullet and upgraded, fixed my framerate issue.   However, with this upgrade arose an issue that puts me in bewteen a rock and a hard place. On said table, I have one of my buttons bound to pan/scroll. With this, I can press and hold and pan across my screen, and when I press alt, I can zoom in and out when I move my pen left and right, really useful for moving quickly when working on assignments. However, on 26.2, It does not do thiss, it does a weird choppy zoom out that can't be changed. I attempted to bind the button on my pen to alt, to see if I could manually set it up, but to no avail.   I don't know much about software, but I'm fair

Hello,In LR this morning I developed a shot and used HDR, an available LR option.  However, when I sent the finished product to photoshop, it comes through as a TIFF, but when I try to save a copy to JPEG, photoshop no longer gives me the JPEG option.  I have to save the shot as a small file for my website, but I can't find a way to do this.  Is there a way to convert or save a copy as a JPEG some other way?  I tried saving it as a pdf, but while that looked ok in photoshop, it was almost completely black online.  I need JPEGs of my TIFFs. Thank you,Erin
