Photoshop

The possibility to activate legacy extensions (such as Brush box) is not visible in PS 2025 anymore, compared to 2024. It is not greyed out - it is just completely removed.How can that be activated again? Many thanksAlex

On December 31 I was exploring the use of Photoshop AI tools to transform an image into a radically different style. The original image could be transformed into several unique styles, including Pop Art, Cubism, Color Marker, Claymation, Paper Crafts, and several others. I planned to modify several photos using this great tool. It could be run only for a limited number of times a day (about 10, as I recall), but it still was perfect for a project I had started. Today the AI feature I used in December seems to be gone. Generative Fill and Generate Image still exist, but the tool to modify an existing image seems to be gone. Am I missing something?  I'm guessing that was a feature in beta test, but I really don't know. Also, I don't know the name of the feature or which menu accessed it. I attached the original image and 2 of the images the AI system created from that. Can someone tell me if and where I can access that functionality?  Thanks! P.S.I am runnin

Hi, I have to create a huge number of tables similar to the one attached. All I get is the DMC numbers on an Excel sheet. I can copy and paste the numbers to Photoshop easily. But have to drag and drop the swatches to rectangles in front of DMC numbers one by one. Some tables have more than 50 colours and it's a very tedious process. Is it possible to automate this to fill the colours only feeding the DMC numbers?   You can find the hexcode for DMC here: DMC Cotton Floss converted to RGB Values.csv   Eg: DMC 310 = #000000 (Black) DMC 321 = #c72b3b (Red)  

Is it possible to load digital backgrounds to photoshop.I've tried a few times but it doesn't seem to recognise the folder

Will this benefit your workflows? 2. If so, what are its benefits? 3. What is your skill level? 4. Interesting question here. Lets say I edit a file IMG_409.jpg - The edit is simply adding a sepia tone color effect. Normally I would go to save the file and then add an extension to the file name Example: IMG_409s.jpg - As to not overwrite the original. Photoshop use to always put the cursor when entering the save screen right before ".jpg". Now the entire file name is highlighted. Any idea how you make the cursor just automatically go before .jpg on the file name? With the entire file name selected it makes me go through an extra step when adding a extension to the filename.

I'm making a digital mock-up of my house so I can pre-layout picture frames I want to hang. I've been using perspective warp on literally over 30 images of walls and frames taken on my phone to straighten them. It's been going swimmingly, no problems. Suddenly, when I click "warp", photoshop automatically started cropping the image to the frame. I'm using Edit>Perspective warp. I drag the corner pins to align my landmark edges, change the mode to "warp," and before I've even moved anything, the image has been cropped to an area around the box. I'm still able to drag my warp corners around before I finalize the warp. Any ideas how this got changed? How do I fix it? I'm on Windows, using Photoshop 21.0.3.

I tried to use generative fill to remove a person from a group photo. It ends up just adding a stranger to the photo and not completly removing them. 

I've been working on a book that includes many pictures. I set my images up in Photoshp with a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. That correlates with 300 dpi, right?The person I hired to format my book says the images must be 300 dpi. I checked and discovered that most of them are 72 dpi. She said I can "optimisze" them in Photoshop.So I have two questions ...First, why aren't my images saving as 300 dpi to begin with?Second, how do I optimize them? I can open a 72 dpi image, copy and paste it into a new file, then change the image size to a resolution of 300, but it's of no use if it's just going to save is as a 72 dpi image.Thanks.

Olá, eu crio meu documento no photoshop, e quando exporto, nos detalhes do documento a representação de cores não mostra a cor, o espaço fica em branco como se não houvesse representação de cores no documento, alguém sabe como posso resolver?

I'm batch editing dozens of photos, most of which have been post-processed in different ways, and need them to look as similar as possible. Since the first step in doing so is finding the black and white points, is there any way to batch edit this process or would it require a custom script? Appreciate the help!

Buongiorno,ho da tempo installato dei plug-in su Photoshop (Tonality Mask e Pannello Landscape sempre del TM panel), non ho mai avuto problemi fino alla versione 24.72, dalla versione 25.0 in poi riesco a visualizzare solo il TM panel e non mi visualizza piu il Pannello Landscape che dovrebbe trovarsi in alto cliccando su Finestra - Estensioni.Ho gia provato a disinstallare e reinstallare il suddetto plug-in senguendo le istruzione datemi dal creatore, ma niente da fare.Allego in foto il suddetto plug-in visualizzato nella versione 24.72 e non visibile nei successivi aggiornamenti di Photoshop.Potrebbe essere che non ci sia compatibilità tra il nuovo aggiornamento Photoshop e il plug-in?Pero mi pare strano perche 1 plug-in funziona mentre l'altro no.Se qualcuno di voi puo aiutarmi mi farebbe piacere perche al momento sto continuando a usare Photoshop nella sua versione "vecchia".Grazie

Copying and pasting images between Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop has always been a simple and common task. But recently, apps stopped doing this in Windows 10. Mainly pasting images from other apps into Photoshop.If you give the command via Menu, nothing happens. If you try to drag and drop, the icon of an iDMS file will appear while moving and when released it will show this message: ( I also use Mac Os and everything is ok )Marcelo     

I have the latest version of Photoshop. I would like to use AI in the program to change an existing building, for example to make it older. Is that possible? It seems as if AI is replacing rather than remaking it.

    Look I pay for this [cursing removed] software and I need the touch to rotate when drawing. Touch has been garbage in photoshop for over a year now. FIX IT. I PAY FOR THIS SOFTWARE. DONT YOU OWE TO US TO ACTUALLY FIX IT?   Touch rotate gesture sometiems rotates and sometimes scales because ti thinks two fingers is a scale move by default. SWITCH THE PRIORITY so two figners is ROTATE by default then scale second.   It's impossible to use this [removed by moderator] software like this,. YOU DONT EVEN CARE.   FRESCO doesnt ahve this problem but fresco is a dead product.   Look I'm jumping to Procreate on desktop th e second it's out. So if you want to keep a customer... Good day!I was creating a file for an animation and when I when to window and selected time line, I noticed that the purple like that represented the time line did not appear. Then when I try to select the option to set the rate of the time line it appeared desable.Why is this happening?Can you help? Thank you, Marcela

Hi all! I just got a new iMac and so have also updated my Adobe apps. I'm now running Photoshop 26.2.0. I'm having trouble with my move tool. Basically, just clicking off an object that has previously been selected using the move tool does not "release" it so I can select something else and move on. I have to click on another tool to "release" it (sorry... not sure of the correct terminology here). It didn't use to work this way. Is there a way to fix this? Or is it just something new that I need to get used to?

When I try to rotate the image with two fingers, Photoshop doesn't do it immediately but only after half a second. It's as if the program is deciding whether I'm trying to zoom, pan, or rotate. This delay really annoys me. I don't have this issue in other apps. Does anyone know what I mean and have a solution?   

I use Photoshop to print multiple pictures at once but they come out in sepia. I have printed in other ways and its not the same.

printing from Photoshop to Canon Prixma Pro 200 still gives an overtone of sepia. Any ideas? I have been through two Pro-100 printers and finally fell for the Pro 200 ($$), and still have the same problem. Prints are muddy and lose the vibrance of the displayed image - especially in larger formats. Has to be an Adobe problem, going by the comments on line. How in the world do I get rid of this "setting"?

I have been trying to print items I do a home with photoshop to assist my wife and her school.When I go to print an 8.5x11 document that I set at 300 dpi, this is the image I see on the print screen. Note the blank space above and below the print preview image.  It is size for a single letter page, but somehow I have gotten these white spaces. Can someone please tell me what to do. I have compared image size and canvas size and both are set at the same size.  I am at a loss for words.d

So I updated to 25.11, now my Canon iX6850 is not printing like it did before. The colours are washed out and they are not the right hue, pink is almost purple!!Anyone else had this issue?

I have this camera film reel image (attached) but its too thick for what I need so how do I make it thinner in photoshop 2020 without making it any smaller

So I open photoshop, go to recent files, try to open my file and the progress bar gets about half way and i get a dialog box saying error reading layer the document's appearance might be effected and do i want to continue, I click ok and i get another one saying the same thing for another layer so I click it, thios keeps happening for every layer, then the scratch discs fill up before I can even get it open.
