Photoshop

Hi all, English isn't my native language and I got lost on the website. I don't know if I'm in the right place.I have the fotography version of Photoshop. It was about 12 Euros per month. Now it's suddenly much more expensive and honestly, I can't afford it. There should be an option to pay for a whole year for 144 Euro's, but I can't find it. Than I thought to cancel my prescription(?). But i read about a fine or something. I tried to find an emailaddress, but I can't find it. The "robot-chat" doesn't understand the problem. I'm getting really nervous. I hope someone can help.

I'm adding text to a photoshop project and when I add punctuation such as : it jumps to the beginning of the sentence and adds it there. I have settings of paragraph going from left to right. Please help. The only answers I've found to this question are from 2012!

I'm trying to make a wavy line from a rectangular shape, but for some reason it interrupts it. you can weaken the strength of the wave and the interruptions will be less, but I need more curved lines.

Since the update to version 2022 it does not detect the pressure of the pen on my tablet in Windows 10

Just updated to PS 26.3 this AM and the first time I opened it, the program exhibited bizzarre behavior. The cursor started flying all over the screen with menus and option sliders opening and closing wildly without me touching ANYTHING. It didn't matter if I tried using the mouse or my Wacom Cintiq 22. NOTHING would stop the craziness. I couldn't even close the program in the usual way. Instead I had to use the Task Manager and end the task.I immediately unistalled 26.3 and went back to the prior version and everything is stable again. All my drivers are up to date ( NVIDIA/Wacom)  on my 3 month old Windows 11 PC:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 2.10 GHz32.0 GB RAM (31.8 GB usable)Windows 11 Home ( fully updated)NVIDIA GEForce RTX 4070I'll be rolling back today's Illustrator update too because I don't trust it either. 

Last week I worked on a 2048 pixel wide psd file, I saved it both as a png and as a psd (luckily). At the end of the week I attached a smaller version of the image (512 pixles wide) in an email and left the psd open in Photoshop. I used the computer on and off during the weekend, but it was not until Tuesday that I closed down Photoshop CS5. My psd was open and Photoshop politely asked me if I wanted to save my changes. I clicked yes. Moments later I am sweating like a pig. I open Photoshop and my psd file only to find that I saved the downscaled version of it, losing last WEEKS work. The history could have saved me if I had not closed the file, but right now, its gone. So; the million dollar question: Can I recover the history of this file, so that I may go back to the version that was 2048 wide?I think I will avoid working in Photoshop this week either way... How about adding a warning message when asking a user to save a file that suddenly is 1/16 of the previous file size?"Do you w

Hi all, I walk in to a problem. I use photoshop on the daily for files with max 10 layers wich works good. But now for another project i have to make an animation and i found out you can also use Photoshop for that.So now i render an image with external software, then paste the images as layer into a single PS-doc, then i get the popup with rotate-mirror-cancel-accept, i click accept and it takes about 3 seconds to correctly post it. This is normally for my 10 layers no problem.But this animation has 1000+ frames, so i had to sit there for half an hour with my finger on the enter button just to paste my images in PS. And thus i wondered if there was a faster solution to this. Thanks! -Nick (windows, PS 2024 and PS 2025).

Can someone from Adobe explain why there are 14 processes of adobe running while all my apps are closed? And what is this ressource blackhole you have created??I don't get it, why adobe is doing everything possible to piss off costumers:A 32gb laptop costs an arm and a leg and you just highjack all of that memory?How many UI helper do you need exactly?   

Hello,I am having this issue while I am working on my project, I have two images that are nearly duplicates, with a difference of one object and it's shadow. I need to keep the object and shadow and remove other duplicate parts.Using blend  options (divide & substract) doesn't do the work. Anyone might have an idea how to resolve it? I am adding the images as referance below.Thanks in advance!  

I am trying to erase the edge of a photograph that I pasted on a new layer. I want the edge to be rough so it blends with the layer behind it. I click the eraser tool like I have for 20 years and then go to the canvas where I right-click my mouse and select a brush from the list of available brushes. Only now what happens is that as I select the rough-edged brush (for the eraser tool), suddenly the brush tool is selected and I am painting on my image. I have done this several times and it is really a pain. How do I convert my paint brushes for use across the board like they used to be? How can I make sure that all of my brushes are available for every brush-like tool (smudge, erase, pattern/clone, etc.)?And who made this choice? Why would you choose to voluntarily limit someone's functionality? What possible benefit is there to this new way of working with Photoshop?

I'm getting a 500 error message when trying to generate an image after updating a smart object with a png file. 

Fix errors installing Adobe apps

I've been using PS since V5, for over 20 years. Only in the last version have I had problems using the space bar to move around and ctrl + and - for zooming, while using the polygon lasso. In PS 26.3.0, it is hit or miss whether these BASIC controls work or not during lasso selections. Adobe, you're the industry standard and I've used these programs for 24 years. Why are there simple bugs like this happening? You can't go getting "comfortable" and letting these things slip. Please fix. This is basic. Thanks.

When I create artboards (for example, 1000x1000px), I already know that I'm going to have very severe lags when working. Starting from 4-5 artboards, Photoshop starts to slow down and lag a lot. At 10-12 it becomes unbearable. At 40-45, freezes occur for how many minutes, even with operations such as layer removal and resizing. I want to note that the layers do not represent something impossibly heavy or high resolution. These are texts and images no more than 900x900px (72 dpi). Usually my files contain 100-120 artboards. Obviously, it is impossible to work with such a volume. That's why I'm using the old version of Adobe Photoshop CC 20.0.7.. There are no lags in it. How does this happen? Why does everything lag unbearably in the new versions and work very fast in the old ones? Why are you making new low-demand functions but paying absolutely no attention to the performance of the program? Why should I buy a new version if I can download the old one and work much faster tha

I noticed after an update earlier this year, the layers panel does not automatically show when I open an image to edit for the first time. I have to click on the layers "button" on the lower right hand side of the workspace to make it show the layer panel. Once I save that image, any time I open it again, the layers panel is there. If I open a new image to edit, the layers panel is gone again. I have to go back and click the layers "button" again to bring back the layers panel. Not a huge issue, but it is a nuisance issue. Included are images to show what I am talking about.

I'm getting a "Camera RAW requires graphics processor acceleration to edit photos" message in Photoshop 2025. Never had it before. MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.1.1. I've checked the Battery settings and Automatic graphics switching is off. Please advice?

I was very sure that in CS6 you could get an options box that looked like this in the properties menu in order to edit the corners of a rounded rectangle. I've tried the commonly suggested solution of selecting the "paths selection tool" (black arrow) in order to reselect the rectangle and then the correct properties box would, in theory, show up. That has not worked for me. I've also been told of the possibility that CS6 doesn't have that options box that I'm looking for at all, which I'm pretty sure isn't true, because I'm rather certain I've used it before in CS6 (though it's not impossible that I could be wrong). Right now the masking options are all I'm getting, as demonstrated below.Are there any other solutions to this issue, or does CS6 REALLY not have that options box and no option to simply edit the roundness of corners on rectangles?

I have an image I want to crop to a specific dimension. In my case, I want to keep the crop aligned to the right side of the image with the top and bottom edges also aligned. Is there a way to do this in Photoshop? Note I'm not changing the height, but moving the crop rectangle to the far right.Thank youDavid
