When I work with the Mixer Brush, I really miss that it blends to transparency. If I create a layer above and start painting, the Mixer Brush changes its behavior quite aggressively. I end up avoiding the creation of layers and hampering the flow of my work a little. The "Sample All Layers" option doesn't work for me, as it leaves Photoshop too heavy and brings tones that I don't want. Upper layer textures and other information spoil the sample. For me it would be perfect to have the options "Blend to transparency", to be able to paint on layers above without being influenced by others and maintain the behavior of the brush, and "Blend to underlayer colors", which samples only layers below, without considering above.A good reference for these options is how Paintstorm Studio does it.I have attached the examples
The goal of my idea is to help me with typing in my Tribe's language called Lushootseed. Right now, certain characters are incomplete and I need help with this issue. Maybe someone from Adobe Diversity and Inclusion wants to help make this happen? Lushootseed is a language spoken by several Indigenous Tribes here in Washington State, USA. So-- anyone got any ideas for adding a new language to Photoshop?
In Windows, Window>Workspace> "LOAD WORKSPACE" (you have New, Reset, Delete) but no way to Load/Transfer a workspace that you have been tweaking for a long time.... It does NOT make sense not to have a Load. import, something to make the transition easier as you Beta new photoshop... it should live there with the other workspace options.
Great app! I have noticed in "content-aware fill," that the app reads the surrounding area automatically which can be problematic when a given area already has a purpose. The auto reader tends to misread what is being asked. i.e. I had a blank t-shirt that had watermark writing, in the removal process, it elongated the t-shirt sleeves instead of simply removing the writing. The idea would be if the app could ask the user if they would like to provide a given area to read from to fulfill the generative fill area. It could be a simple box that you can elect to go away, and within that box could be where you simply click "ok" or "complete." In one day of us, I would have used this type of function dozens of times. I figured out a three-step process to complete the task, but this idea would allow for a one-step process that would have multi-faceted implications for users.
Have the ability to place push pin anchors along an item that you would like to be straight and then perform an action that will align all of those anchors into a straight line between the two furthest extremes of anchors. This will allow you to take something that is distorted or wavy and straighten it out visibly.
Currently, to white balance areas of the image, it takes many more steps to go into color filter, sample an area, then reverse the LAB colors to pull back or neutralize an area with color cast from a light source. A simpler route would be greatly appreciated.
Color Warper is More Advance and So easy To change Hue, Luminance, and Saturation at One Click and Drag... Photoshop Add this Feature and Make More Advance Photoshop... I don't know why photoshop is not adding this tool whereas this type of tool is very much needed to make photo editing even easier. Photoshop should give a place to a tool like color warper and must add such a feature... like 3D Luts Creator and Nobe color Remape, and that's why this software is very well used.
Dear Adobe Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request an addition to the lens profile category in Adobe's software. I have been a devoted user of Adobe's photography software and greatly appreciate the comprehensive range of features and capabilities it offers. However, I have noticed that the lens profile category does not include the complete lineup of Panasonic lenses. As a photographer who extensively uses Panasonic lenses, it would be immensely beneficial to have accurate lens profiles for my specific equipment within Adobe's software. Lens profiles play a crucial role in correcting distortion, vignetting, and chromatic aberration, enabling us to achieve the best possible image quality. Panasonic lenses are widely acclaimed for their exceptional optics, and they have gained significant popularity among photographers. Given their popularity and the growing number of Panasonic lens users, I believe it would be highly advantag
Working with multi-layered documents, I often need this. Certainly, we can use an existing command "Stamp visible layers" (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E).BUT we have to turn off the visibility of all the layers above... and then turn them on again. It's a bit time consuming, esp. if we've got many layers and not all of them should be on (so we can't just click once and move the cursor up or down along all the eyes icons).
I'd love to have a separate Liquify tool that sits in the standard toolbar that allows for the basic options of Liquify to be used on the canvas without opening a new window.Using the Liquify feature in Procreate is very convenient, and it's nice to not need to set any view settings. You simply stay on the canvas and immediately see results.I think this would be a great addition to have while still keeping the current Liquify filter for other use cases.
As an avid user of Adobe Photoshop, I have always admired the power and versatility of this industry-leading software. However, there is one aspect that I believe could greatly enhance the editing experience, particularly when working with large photos or graphics in raw or lossless formats. That enhancement is the implementation of Level of Detail (LOD), a technique widely used in modern 3D video games. I've listed several of the potential benefits that incorporating LOD into Photoshop could have, and how it could revolutionize the editing process for professionals and enthusiasts alike. 1. Improved Performance:Working with large, high-resolution images can often be a challenge in Photoshop, as the software needs to load and process every pixel, even if we're only viewing a small portion of the image. By implementing LOD, Photoshop could dynamically adjust the level of detail based on the zoom level and the area of the image being edited. This would significantly improve performa
It makes no sense that ctrl-J (on the whole or on a selection) will not work on a locked layer. In no way does ctrl-J alter the contents of the locked layer, so why can't you make a new layer from the selection? To do so, you first have to go unlock the layer and relock it (if you so choose) after you Ctrl-J. Tedious and not intuitive.
I'll be honest, im working on vector illustration and then porting it to photoshop to create water colors using filters. it woul dbe cool to make brushes that habve pressure mapping so you can making density rings that are organic and relate to the pressure of your digital drawing pen.
Have a cursor option in the Cursor preferences menu to have an icon in minature of the tool offset from the crosshair or brush outline. This helps for those who switch between tools often (i,e, clone stamp, eraser, paint brush) to know at a glance what tool you are working with, since the appearance between all those look identical. As an option, so that this graphic doesnt get in the visible way, it may disappear when you engage with the tool by clicking and dragging, since concievably you know which tool you have engaged by that pont so no need to keep it visible. This is indicative of how capslock can change between cross hair mode and tool cursor outline mode.
Whenever the user performs an action, alert them when that action does not perform any visible or tangible affect. I can not tell you how many times I have tried to paint something in and didn't realize I was painting completely outside of the selection, because the selection was hidden. This causes disrorientation, because you think something isn't workng properly or you set some function that isn't visible, but in reality you did something that had no affect.
Using Camera Raw there does not appear to be a hotkey for the filter by buttonIs there a keyboard navigation to get to this point?
Could a future Photoshop please make the sponge tool to lighten a specific color?
Animation is the main thing I use Photoshop on. I’d love to able to do animations on my iPad like I do with my desktop with Photoshop.
The generative fill comes with a layer mask, however, doesn't automatically select what's been generated, you have to then select the generation and then mask out what AI tried to blend in. For the most part, the generations are great but the blending it does isn't always the best and you just want the creation, not the blending of the background because this makes it hard to apply this effect to a series while keeping the same look. It would help if AI is going to blend the background and add shadows/etc., that it automatically selects the subject in the mask.
Danke
It would be great to have the magic wand tool in the Select and Mask workspace. There are often times when the smart selection misses holes or other areas that would be easily selected by the Magic Wand. Unfortunately, the magic wand is not available in the Select and Mask workspace.
I have two side by side artboards for a before and after photo composition. Need to add a cerntered watermark, half on one photo, half on the other without merging layers/artboards.
It's time to update some of the icons in the tool bar. The icons for certain tools are virtually identical - see [Quick Selection and Brush] and [Spot Healing Brush and Remove tool]. The icons are supposedly there to make it easy - instead of having to memorize a gazillion keyboard shortcuts or setting up actions. Maybe color coding the icons could help.
