Photoshop Elements

I cannot do anything with all my pictures I have as they show up as little blue icons for psd, zips or png files. How can I change them to shwo the photos, it's been going on for weeks. I somehow go tthem to work, then next day it's arong again, I cannot take this much longer, ready to delete thousands of photos. Someone please help me, I'm 68 and can't fix issues, I need this done ASAP Tahnks I use windows 11, edge.

I've used Photoshop 15 for years now. Recently when adding a frame to a photo, I chose the color red, but the frame only comes out black?

Every other day since I bought it, this has worked perfectly. Today it won't load. I'm on an intel 27" iMac running Big Sur - but that is irrelevant since it has always worked! Why today? I need it for my work. It's still wroking perfectly on my M1 Macbook Air, but I need the big screen. I've restarted the computer twice, redownloaded and reinstalled, nothing works. It circles endlessly at this screen (screenshot). Can anyone help please?

I've set "Create Subfolder(s) using" "shot Date (yyyy mmm dd)" in Organizer Preferences (Camera or Card Reader). When APD launcches, that option is not listed in the drop-down list; only 'yyyy mm dd'.  This was working fine in Elements 2022.

Using PSE 2019, on the Keyword/Info Panel (right side panel), one can expand all Keyword Tags (Categories, Sub-Categories, and Keywords) at the same time.  Everything is visible in one long list. I would like for the Information to behave in the same way.  However, for me, when I expand the General, the Metadata collapses, etc.)  I don't believe this was always the case, and possibly I have changed an option somewhere.   Is there a way to expand General Info, Metadata Info, and History at the same time? Thanks.BruceK 

Elements 2020 will not install on my new computer. The installer reads 1%, 2%, and jumps to 100% in about 4 seconds total. It says it's installed, but it's nowhere to be found. I logged out of elements 2020 on my old computer, but it still doesn't work. I'm installing from the download link on my Adobe account page. Any suggestions short of a .32 at point-blank range will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I am running Photoshop Elements 2020 on  desktop Windows PC having built-in memory of 16GB & free memory of 7GB, The catalog is stored on the desktop PC Drive D  & its size is 793MB. The catalog cache size is 307 MB.  The D Drive has 135MB free space. All media files are stored on an external drive.Every time I start the Full backup & during the process of identifying the files, the error message aopears to the effect that the System does not have anough space. Is 135MB of free space on Drive D  not adequate? Does backup process need free space equivalent to Catalog Cache size? I am unable to delete any files on Drive D to create more space!I have been trying to find a solution quite desperately, but to no avail. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions in this regard. Dear All, I noticed that PSE 2023 organizer is struggling to display photospheres created on my pixel 6 phone.  Does anyone know if there is a way to make these display correctly?

I want to transfer my photos to an external hard drive because my scratch disk is full,. But something funny has been going on with my photos for awhile. Even when I import them once, they are imported again and again. I usually don't erase them from my memory card until I make my final edits.  I'm using a MacBook Pro, Monterey OS and Photoshop Elements  2020. Maybe it will help to look at the screenshot I have attached that lists my folders. Some of folders have no images in them.  Will this "funny stuff" with the folders affect my transferring images (25 GB) to a hard drive and then later trying to import certain folders to work with them?  

Hi, I am new to the latest version of elements. I have been extremely impressed with the facial recognition feature. However, I have incorrectly approved wrong names that have been suggested in a few cases. Can you please tell me how this can be amended these. Struggled to find a way. Running on a window 11 PC. Thanks

I have been using the Elements 2023 Organizer for a few weeks. I have never been able to complete a backup. I am trying to make a full backup to a new external drive. After completing all of the steps to start a backup, the I receive a "Please wait…" message.  Nothing else occurs. I have waited as long as three hours. If This version is unable to backup, perhaps I need to bite the bullet and use something else. 

My Elements 14 has stopped working.  It keeps saying not enough memory RAM. I have reloaded both Elements14 and Windows10 but it still wont work?

When I click on the Organiser icon, it opens up but then shuts down before I can do anything.  Any suggestions? 

Heb de nieuwe Canon R6 Mark II en de nieuwste versie van Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 geïnstalleerd. Vanuit het menu Help ook via installeren camera RAW uitgevoerd. De CR3 bestanden zijn niet te importeren. De jpg uiteraard wel. Hoe los ik dit op? 

Hey, does anyone know how to turn off the grid lines when editing Raw files in elements Version 13?There is a button to close the grid lines but it won't close when I click it. I dislike the automatic grid lines and would like to get rid of them. See the yellow highlight in the image below for what I mean.   

I un-installed my Photoshop Elements 2018 because it couldn't even save a jpeg, or anything else for that matter. It was dragging really slow doing most things, & text wouldn't appear on the screen until I exited text mode & switched to the pointer, so I did a fresh install today by downloading the trial version. Still performing horribly, doing the same thing. It says "Could not complete the "Save As" command because there is not enough memory (RAM). I know better! Very frustrating to say the least! Trying to add one image onto another finally worked, but took several minutes before it could accomplish something that used to only take seconds. Maybe the last 2 Windows updates to Windows 10 have something to do with it? It's been a while since I've used it, maybe a few months, so I'm suspecting the updates as they are the only changes made to my ASUS laptop since things have stopped working correctly. I'm having trouble converting raw files to jpeg. I can't share files in Flickr unless they're in jpeg format.

How can I increase the size of the type in the file info ? 

I was working on an image that was magnified so I could see details.I was using the Pencil tool in red.I needed to move to another part of the image so I changed to the 'hand' tool to move the image. Thereafter the program insisted on using a dark gray with the Pencil tool.Is this a problem with the program losing a setting called Use Graphics Processor? We found that the sctrach disk was causing PSE to give the spinning cursor every few seconds causing us unable to do any edit or drawing. There was also no way to disable the active scratch disk short of ejecting it. But we need the disk. This happens with 2021 PSE. Will there be a fix for this version, we assume it is true for even the latest version.

Just got an LG Gram. Resolution is 2560x1600. The resolution on PE2022 is soo big, looks like the entire thing is just zoomed in. Tried playing with high resolution in properties and couldn't get it to change. Can anyone help? Thank you  

I have photoshop elements 2019. It is installed on my desktop computer. I purchased photoshop from Office Depot and I have the redemption card/serial number. I bought another computer and I am trying to install on the new computer but when I click download it says error this download is not available anymore and to contact RED support. I contacted RED support and they told me to contact Adobe. I contacted Adobe and was told it was a old version and I could not install on the new computer. Is this correct? Am I out of luck and have to buy the new version? 

I am attempting to create an outside outline of an ellipse created with the Elliptical marquee tool in Photoshop Elements 2020.  Nothing happens.  In the past, I have been able to create the outside outline by right clicking and selecting "Stroke (outline) selection".  Suggestions?

With the promotion video it seem so easy...I select an object to remove, it only does it partially and it duplicate partially the objet close to it.I tried to select the objet with all the tools available, same problem.I tried the guide and expert mode with the same result.I bought the new version because of the easyness of use.What am I doing wrong?Thanks, Marc
