Photoshop Elements

I have a problem that seeems to happen sometimes and not all the time.When I try to save or load a photo into Photshop Elements 2023 then the program stops and the Adobe error reporting window pops up.This is an ignoring problem as I can spend time on editing a photo only to find that when I click on "Save as" the Photoshop element stops working and all the work I did is lost.The same problem also happens for Premiere Elements sometimes.Sometimes I get a small "waiting" icon idicating that the program or Windows 10  is waiting for something for a few seconds before the Adobe error reporting box pops up.I am within the minimum specs for using Phooshop elements except for the processor is a bit under powered but this does not stop me when making changes to a photo in photoshop or rendering a file in Premiere.Can someone please offer a suggetion that I could try so I can fix this problem.

I have Photoshop Elements installed on a Dell XPS-13 Laptop.  My system storage shows462 GB used of 462 GB!  This, of course, is creating many issues.  I need to free up some disk space.As I track down file sizes I get to C:\Users\halus\Documents\Adobe\Elements Organizer\19.0\Users\halus\pictures, which is 235 GB.  So.....I need to move these picture files off of my drive but want to do so in a manner that does not adversely affect PSE.  my question is how do I move these photo files from Photoshop Elements to an external drive while at the same time maintaining normal PSE operation?  Thanks in advance for assisstance. Jim H.

I have an old picture of my mon going back to 1938 or so. One side is badly damaged and I would like to replace that portion by selecting a picture and dragging it to the background of my mom.  I am using Photoshop, elements 2023.  Could some one explan how to do this or direct me to a video. When I select the text it comes up with the message text engine is prevented from initialized. any thoughts?

cant uninstall elements 2021....I need to  reinstall to correct a problem. 

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2023 but find there is no Classroom in a Book.  Would the 2021 version of the Classroon in a Book be OK with the 2023 software or should I look for something else?

I've downloaded and installed the camera raw plugin for elements 2023, but when I try to open a raw file I get a box saying I need the plug inIn the help menu there is an "about camera raw" option but that's allPhotos were taken on a Canon R6 Mark II

I'm working in PSE 2021. I've got a number of sketches of women on colored backgrounds that I'm making into PNGs so that I can resize and use them in other artwork. Attached is an example of one that I have saved as a PNG. I have not used PSE 2021 very much, I confess. As there's more than one way to do things in PSE, I'm wondering, since I've gotten this far, what's a fast and easy way to get rid of the remaining "background" around her figure? Is there a way to use the Guided Edit for removing an object from a background to do this? (I'm thinking not). Which tool/method would be best? Many thanks.  

Windows OS 11 Home 64 bit, 16 GB RAM, Canon EOS R6 Mark IIPhotoshop Elements 2023 > About Plug-in > Camera Raw > 14.4.0.1121Elements installs and works great except for my raw files...I first tried going to Help > Install Camera RAW and it appears to work but the Camera Raw version shown above is unchanged.I then downloaded & install Camera Raw 15.4 from Adobe, closed Photoshop Elements, installed Camera Raw , but the version above stays thje same.I then tried unistalling PSE 2023, deleted the directories, then re=installed everything - no chnage.Help?! 

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2023 on a Windows 10 computer.The drop-down menus in the organizer do not drop-down to display any options. I opened my Photoshop Elements 2019 software and the menus in the organizer all work.Any suggestions?

Currently using Elements 11 and realize I'm long overdue for an upgrade but in the interim, I've experinced issues. I can no longer photomerge and get an error message 22. Can anyone add some insight?

MacBook Air M1, Monterey.7, Photoshop Elements 2021I do (have) not use(d) Elements Auto Creations 2021 or Adobe Elements 2021 Organizer at all.In January 2022, I turned off the "Generate Auto Creations" preference setting (i.e., unchecked the checkbox) in AEO. I installed the resent MAC update yesterday and now my Elements 12 is not working.  I can open it but everytime I try to move the window or click on the tool bar is closes. 

I when click Edit > Preferences > Performance, there is an option called "Launch Elements Apps Faster when System Starts". What does this do? Does it add an entry to Windows startup? Since I installed PSE 2023 I noticed a new startup entry:C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 2023 Organizer\Elements Auto Creations 2023.exeIs this the entry added by the option?I've tried searching the documentation regarding this option and I can't find anything. If anyone knows of any documentation, please direct me.

Hi all, sorry for the question but after a long time searching I can't seem to find any help. I'm trying to use the smudge tool on an image that doesn't have transparency around it, but wherever I click, it will leave color (whatever color is in the color box) and THEN it will drag the pizels like it should. But it keeps depositing colors that aren't anywhere near what I'm dragging, and say if my color box has pink in it and I click something to smudge it will leave pink and then as I drag it the pink will disappear and it will start dragging pixels.  I've never had this problem before and I don't know what suddenly changed. I'm very sorry if this is a rookie question.

Hello Guys, I've screwed up big time. I had problems backing up my catalog in Organizer and I went ahaed and deleted my current catalog naively thinking I coulf just recreate it. Now I have tried restoring from a previous catalog, but nothing is working. I lost all of my tags and events and places I tried to restore my photos and all of a sudden I got multiple copies. I'm in deep sh... Is there any way to salvage this, other then reinstall PSE and start from scratch with about 20,000 photos and videos dating back from 15 years?  Btw I'm running PSE18 on Windoes 11. Thanks  PS. Please don't be too hard on me. That loud thump you might hear is me banging my head on the desk.  

I am a long time Adobe Photoshop Elements user. I recently upgraded from Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 to 2023. Everything worked fine for a week, but now the  editor will not open. When I attempt to open it, I get the following message on my screen "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." but it never opens and the message disapears from the screen.  

Can anyone verify whether the new 2022 version has fixed the memory leak(s) when importing media into the Organizer? 

How do I disable the annoying dots which appear when trying to draw with the pen tool. Starts off ok then suddenly a circle of dots appears at the end of the line. It serves no purpose other than to annoy and frustrate. 

In Adone Organizer I would like to be able to be able to manually scan a group of files for faces.At the moment this process is only an automated feature.However I woul like to be able to trigger a manual face scan in multiple files manually.(This was available in Organizer v10 but the manual feaure has been removed in Adobe Elements Organizer 2023)    do a manual  force Organizer to scan a group of files for faces

I would like to be able to export all the TAGS in Adobe Organizer to a file. A CSV file would be good, but an XML file is fine too.  (This facility was available in Adobe Organizer v10.)I need this feature to help manage the keyword thesaurus I use for my image catalogue.In Organiser 2023 an export to an XML file can be done for Keywords Tags but not for People, Places and Events Tags.
