Photoshop Elements

Everything has been good with the images until now. To my knowledge nothing has changed. No updates or changes. If I save and open a image from a FB album I get a raster image purple colors. If I open it any other way like with a photoviewer it is fine. Any other image from any other source it is fine. Any ideas?

I have Elements 2021 and since trialling Elements 2026 , it seems a lot of settings in 2021 have gone haywire. The most annoying one is that I can't create a white photo frame in Expert mode (I don't like the Quick edit frames, they're too big for my liking). I can do a black one, but for some reason a white frame just doesn't appear (the frame folows all colours of the image), I've played around with the settings but can't get it to work (and yes I've googled and tried about 4 different options, with no success)....so I would appreciate any help. 

Since uploading Elements 2026 and upgrading to  Windows 11 I am having a difficult time loading my photos in Elements for editing. It is not so much that my raw files do not load, but that once I have made my initial edits in raw, I cannot quickly open them into the app for further edits. Even one photo file can take minutes to load and trying to load multiple photos at a time causes the system to stall or crash completely. My PC system capabilities (RAM, storage, etc) all seem consistent with Elements 2026 requirements. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem with this or an earlier version of Elements? I previously was using Elements 2020 with Windows 10 and never had an issue. Can't figure out if the problem is with Adobe or Windows 11.Thanks.

 Hello,I would like to mark individual photos within a stack (or batch, in german: "Stapel") in the organizer with a tag.Then I want to search them via tag search und then I what to mark them all to copy them to another place (e.g. to a mobil phone). Now I have the problem that the search always shows me all photos of the stack after clicking on the desired tag, even if only one single photo of the stack contains the desired tag. PSE shows "no hit" (in german: "kein Treffer") on the untagged photos of the stack - but they are still displayed.So I can not completely mark und copy the search result and I have to look through the entire stack very tediouslyto search for the only really tagged photo. Does anyone have a solution for this, how to restrict the search result to the really tagged photos?Or is there another way besides tags?It's even worse with albums: if I add a single photo of the stack to the album, all of the photos in the stack are added to the album. Th

Have tried to install since 30th Oct but still unusable due to the following problems:Very hard to install - it took 9 attempts including uninstalling and running the cleaner tool every time but the installation crashed at around 90% each time. WARNING! Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements dose not work with Snapdragon processor.

Elements 2026 has note that it only works on MacOS 14x or MacOS 15x. My Mac has version Tahoe26x. Does this mean I am out of luck and shouldn't download it?

I have Premiere and Elements ver 21.0. Can I upgrade it? Or is that a new purchase? Is a Subscription required?  I like the product for its ease of use but it is pretty limited in features I would like to have so I'm not willing to pay a lot for it or use a subscription.  For example the pan and zoom tool is awful. Thanks for your thoughts about upgrading.

I've read that in Photoshop there is a Match Color command to match the colors between two images. Is such a command also available in Photoshop elements? If not is there a way to achieve the same in Elements? Thanks!   Kind regards,

Hello after installing Adobe Photoshop Elements using the .exe installer I get the following message error:16I'm going to assume it's because there's no ARM version of elements availableIs there anyway to get elements setup? 

How can you install (reinstall) 'Photoshop Elements 11' in a brand new Win11 Laptop without it (Adobe) causing a permanent loop error in 'Automatic Repair' in Windows11, requiring a full system install and loss of files?! Seems also today, Adobe will NOT even communicate beyond AI or BOT, for any real people!! Please, please, can someone help me?? [I have my original CD programme disks & code.]

Habe seit ein paar Wochen WIN 11. PSE 13 ist bis gestern problemlos gelaufen. Ab heute kann ich es nicht mehr öffnen. Neuinstallation hat auch nichts gebracht.

Hello all. At this point I know I need to sign on my previous laptop to sign out or deactivate to use on a new device. But it is possible if I still have access to the hdd of the laptop(as the laptop is no longer working).

I have APE 2021.3 installed and wanted to upgrade ACR too. The actual ACR version as displayed by the settings function is 13.0.0.612. I downoladed the new ACE 13.4 installer, run it and consequently run the exe. However, the ACR in APE remained unchanged. What am I missing?Kind regards,

What are the steps to storing 2020 Photoshop Elements photos in iCloud on MacBbok Air ? I'm running Moneterey 13.76. I need to free up space becausse my  scratch disk is full and the Editor will not open.

I am trying to print from photoshop editor and every time I try, photoshop crashes.  I have uninstalled and re-installed the printer AND the photoshop 2025 program?  I have also tried "resetting the preferences on next launch" suggestion and it still crashes as soon as I try to print.   Please help!  I have never had this problem before?

I used to use Photoshop Elements 15 in which I was able to use the wia support function to scan in documents and photos.I recently upgraded to PE 26 and when I try to use the wia support function the program crashes creating a pop-up Error Report.I have attached an image of the Pop-Up screen, below, and the actual error report generated by the program.I originally sent the report to Adobe but have not receive any response.I updated the driver for my printer, but that doesn't appear to make any difference.I know the wia support function uses a file called WIASupport.8LI - don't know if it is corrupt and/or how to find out.Anyway - bottom line - I have no clue why this is happening and even less of a clue how to fix it.

So, just had Elements 2023 installed on my Windows 10 PC. Just like Elements 2021, it tells me thatthe RAW CR3 files are not in a format recognized by Elements.  Jpeg files can be retrieved without any problem.  Adobe support centre has looked at this a couple of times, and have yet to find a solution. Any ideas out there?

I have just bought a new computer which has Windows 11 on it. I want to install my licenced version of Photoshop Elements 2019 on it. I have gone to the download page and got the installer. When I run the installer it gets to the question "Do I want to install" I click yes and nothing happens it just stops. I have tried running this installer as admin but no difference. Is the installer faulty or am I doing something wrong?

I upgraded my MacBook to Tahoe 26, and my Photoshop Elements 2020 stopped working.  What to do?

I've just reinstalled Photoshop Elements 2023, after a fresh Win10 reinstall.  Photo editor will not launch, and is giving me the "missing MSVCP120.dll" error.Every discussion I've read about this error has the same solution:  uninstall and reinstall newest Visual C++ package.I've done that, including both the x64 and x86 versions, with restarts between every step.  Still getting the same error.What are the next steps when this solution doesn't work?Thanks.

I recently bought photoshop elements 2025.It has been installed and the purchase confirmed. when the programme is opened, an option appears which offers a free trial of 2026 version. My question is, what happens if I do not accept the offer of purchasing the newer version after the 7 days?
