Photoshop Elements

I used to use Organizer on a daily basis and loved it (PSE 11).  I moved away from using it to organize - I don't remember why - and decided it was time to get back to finding things easier again.  Well, easy is apparently not available.  I dowloaded 2025 about two weeks ago and tried to get it to work.  It didn't give me options really - it just started to grab all the images on my computer.  I thought it would be okay and it would help me find duplicates and other issues... but then it stopped working.  It crashes if I look at too many folders or if I try to optimize or repair the catalog.  I can't find a way to search for duplicates.  It doesn't work at all.   So I try to contact support... ever tried that?  Yikes!  It's really hard to find a place to talk to a person, even after you try all the AI suggestions.  AI just gives up - doesn't offer an agent.  When I finally found a way to request an agent, I got

I can't use this functionality at all. MAC, macbook m3. I import photos, I try in different files formats. I see the photos, click on the checkbox auto curate and I get the message attached. And so on. What should I do?I have only screens in polish. first informs that  analysis for your media is currently disabled …, secound analysis is in progress, please try again after some time. Hello.   Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 worked fine for me when using Windows 10. I did not want to upgrade to Windows 11 but my hard drive had to be replaced and without consulting me, the technician loaded Windows 11 on it, bummer 😞   When I installed PS Elements 8 from the CD disk and entered my serial number, it loaded a totally different version of Photoshop and wants me to pay and/or subscribe. If it's possible to install PS Elements 8 from the disk and run the version I have been using and am familiar with, please send detailed instructions.   I do not need anything more than what I paid for and hope I don't have to upgrade to a newer version or get stuck having to pay a subscription fee.   Thanks for any help.      

J’ai Photoshop Eléments 2023 que j’ai réinstallé suite au changement de ssd. le chargement de l’espace travail ne se lance pas. je ne peux rien faire. J’ai déjà posé la question, actuellement cela me renvoie à ma précédente demande. bref je n’avance pas. déçu d’Adobe qui ne fait aucun effort pour satisfaire les clients. à vous lire.

This is on a Windows 11 PC; Windows 11 Pro 26200.8457; Adobe Elements (19.0) 2021Recently, the Alt key does not initiate the Define Source Point cursor for the Clone tool. If I press and hold the Alt key and then tap any other key (example: Ctrl, Shift) the Define Source Point cursor appears correctly.I have tried resetting the tool, resetting the preferences, and uninstall removing all the associated folders including App Data/Roaming, and removed all the registry settings. Following reinstall of the PS Elements app and setting all the preferences, the issue still persists.As I said, this just started happening recently. It could be related to a recent Windows update.Any help would be appreciated.

Updated to Elements 2026 last week on MacBook with Tahoe. Dreadful. V slow especially cropping, dragging and resizing etc etc.  Over 30 seconds to do one side of a crop.  NEEDS SORTING ADOBE / APPLE

Both my 2025 and 2020 versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements have started to crash as soon as I try to print a photograph. Any ideas?

Hello,I currently have Photoshop Elements 11 installed on a Windows 7 PC.I've bought a new Win 10 PC and would like to continue using PE11 on the new Win 10 PC.I do have a few questions which I have been unable to find answers for.  1. Stick with PE11 on Win10Will PE11 run on Windows 10?  If so, I assume I could use the original install CD to install PE11 on the Win10 PC.  I'm not sure if it would then update to the latest version of PE11 using the Help -> Updates option due to its age.  Assumming all that works I could then import the catalog from the old PC and carry on using PE11 on Win10.  Would this scenario work? 2. If PE11 won't run on Win10 then is there a way of upgrading IE to the latest 2020 version whilst maintaing all my data i.e. tags etc.  What would the best route be.  Can I install PE 2020 on my Win10 PC and import the catalog from the Win7 PC into the PE 2020 on the Win10 PC?  Would this transfer across tag info etc

I have Elements 2026 for Mac, and in Preferences > Type, I don’t see an option to disable automatic lists (my only choices are for Smart Quotes, Placeholder Text, Asian Text Options, Missing Glyph Protection, Font Names in English, and Font Preview size). Please help!

Tried to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 on the Windows 11 23H2 system without any previous photoshop product installed on it.When installer finishes I get error: Unable to launch the product automatically. Please quit & re-launch manually (Error Code: 111)When I enter the installation directory and try to start the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe I get another error: Configuration Error (Error Code: 11) (see attached screenshot) I tried tore-install the applicationre-install with cleaning the system with Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Toolchanged installation directory directly to C:\Adobeexplicitly grant administrator permissions to the installerrun photoshop manually as administratortried to install on another computer - getting the same error Installer was downloaded directly from my adobe account. Any ideas what could be wrong?

My purchase PSE 2026 Upgrade does not fully work...I contacted Support, had 3 different sessions on remote, and the only thing that I got is a shortcut to use Photoshop Elements Editing, but I cannot access my full purchased PSE 2026 which includes the Organiser (when opening the App, it spins and never uploads), the App does not even appear on my account in “Apps”. Screenshots attached.Would you recommend a full refund, and then I purchase the PSE 2026 (not the upgrade)?Or can you sort the current situation out?Thank you.

I am trying to restore a catalog backup which contains photos and PDF files. The photos restore successfully but all the PDFs are listed in a box headed “The file(s) listed below could not be restored”.and do not appear to have been restored. Should I be able to restore the PDFs or has that functionality been deprecated?

I bought the software less than two years ago. My old laptop had a liquid spillage and never restarted. I have downloaded the software to my new computer fine, but when I enter my serial number to activate it, I get a message that it is in use on another laptop. I’m told that I can go to my account to deactivate the other computer, but in my account it says that I have no activated devices.

I cannot download a copy of Elements 2023 or Premier elements 2023 from my account programs owned page. They start to download but stop saying there is a problem and downloading has stopped. Is there another link I can use to download them? Thanks in advance, Alan.

Hello All! I’ve recently downloaded and installed PSE12 on my new Surface Pro running Windows 11. I can’t appear to sign in though. I get the prompt to scan the QR code, which I do, I get the page to log in, get a verification code to login to my account, put the password in and then it signs me in, but it does nothing to the actual program, I don’t get signed in at all. I’ve tried running it offline, and I’ve tried updating it, and nothing helps, and I can’t contact Adobe because I don’t have a current membership. Thanks in advance, Helen

This is the message I get now which I can’t open Photo Elements. Think I have the 2022 version 

I have Photoshop Elements using Mac version Tahoe 26.4.1 and when trying to open it, I now get a message saying Adobe Photoshop cannot run on this computer because the minimum system requirement is Mac OS X version.  My version is the latest. What can I do too resolve the problem please?

How do I get the Elements 2023 photo downloader to display a thumbnail of the picture on the card and not the generic blue thing thatAdobe uses?

I have Version 21.0 of Photoshop Elements (registered Nov. 15, 2022).  The computer on which it was originally downloaded to (installed on) crashed and I now have a new computer. How can I transfer the software to my new computer? 

Had a problem with the Photoship elements 2025.  Had 3 files of pictures removed.  As yoI u see in the file below the files are there and I have tried to import them and it says the pictures are in the catalog.  When I hit all media nothing shows up.  The pictures are in the files when i look at them under the pictures in windows with the correct files.  When i googled the problem they stated you have to remove the applied filter.  I havent even used the photo editor yet so i am not that familiar with filters and using smarrt filters.  I would appreciate any help.  I have attached a photo of my screen.Thank you

Elements 2026 heeft 2 maanden gewerkt en zei bij het opstarten: Kan Photoshop niet initialiseren vanwege programmafout.Met Ctrl + Alt + Shift op de exe-file werkt niet en zegt dan tijdens opstarten in een windowtje: Elements 2025, terwijl op de exe-file 2026 staat. 2025 heb ik nooit gekocht en heeft dus nooit op mijn pc gestaan. Pc met Windows 11.Wie kan mij helpen?

Since installing PSE 2026, I no longer have the Soft Round and Hard Round bushes in my Default brushes.  I have tried other brushes (mostly the mechanical ones) and they don’t seem to be the same.  I have used Google and CoPilot to try and find an answer, but the results don’t work.I still have PSE 2025 installed, so I could copy/install them from there, but I can’t find these 2 specific brushes.Has anyone found any options that work?

I am trying to use raw to edit my photos and am on a HP. I can outline the subject using the “quick” version, but not the advanced. Then everything freezes. I shut down the program and have to start over, but it still does the same thing. I have tried several versions of alternatives and the same thing happens. I am close to returning the product.
