I have been having issues with the Adobe Acrobat Pro application crashing upon opening for several months now. I have updated to the latest version of the app [Version 22.08.00 (20220819.224230)], uninstalled/reinstalled the app several times, cleared the cache, offloaded the app, and yet... it still crashes practically every time I open it. It takes six or seven tries to get it to open at all, and then if I open a PDF to fill/sign it, it crashes again when I close the PDF. Also, just a minor annoyance, but the app has changed recently to select the ENTIRE line (as opposed to just wherever you click) when filling/signing a PDF. *Side note:* I have noticed that the crashing issues persist only when I am logged into my work Adobe account, not my personal account. My work Adobe has three other users that have access, and all documents are saved in the Acrobat Cloud. No issues accessing PDFs on my iPhone through the work account - only on the iPad. App crashes minutes after attempting to open on iOS decive. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail. 

I've been working for years in adobe acrobat on my iPad. All this time thinking my files and folders where being saved to adobe cloud storage (have premium subscription). After having my iPad stolen I realized my files and folders where not being saved to the cloud.How do  move folders to adobe cloud?

My Acrobat app on my Ipad pro was crashing since the morning and I had no idea what to do so I looked at the internet and it recommended to remove the app and re-install, now it should be fine since all my important files are stored on (On This Ipad) so I didn't think that by removing the app it will also remove all my files, this is more than 10 months of my work.and I can't find my files on the recently deleted folder or anywhere. and I don't have any backup for this Ipad.and the files aren't on the adobe cloud storage cause it simply sucks whenever I edit the file it creates another conflict file and it keeps going and crashing. is there anyway to recover my files ??

I have downloaded the adobe acrobat app for my iphone 7. Previously I was able to download pdf documents and open them from the app. However, now when I select the adobe acrobat app, the home screen freezes, on the symbol with Adobe Acrobat Reader and nothing happens, even if I leave it open for 5 minutes.I've tried deleting the app and downloading a new version about 5 times. Each time I close the app fully, but the same issue recurs whenever I try to use the app.Is there a way around this?Thanks.

I had deleted the app and reinstalled. Only files that were scanned through Adobe scan remained. All of my saved. PDFs disappeared. How can I get them back?

Any solution to Adobe Acrobat Reader crashing on iPhone and iPad?! App crashed while in use and won't open anymore. Still crashing despite successful updates on both iPhone and iPad. Urgently need solutions to have access to exam study material on both devices.

I'm having an issue where when I attempt to open the Adobe Reader app on my IPHONE or IPAD, the app crashes and closes.  The IOS is up todate; I've tried deleting the app and redownloading from the app store; hard reboots; the usual.  Is there a known outage or something preventing the applications from opening? Any help / insight would be appreciated.

I had the issue with the adobe app kicking me out all the time. An apple tech recommended deleting and reinstall-installing the app. Now, it will open but I have lost all my local files.... 😳😳please tell me I can get them back somehow??? I've tried everything I can think of. 😢

Hi I lost all my local files when I uninstalled and reinstalled the adobe reader because of the app crashes. Please help me how I can recover my files? I checked the cloud it's no there. I had important documents in the folder. Now I have none.

Hello, tried to open doc, acrobat opened and closed before doc appeared. Tried 3x, restarted iPhone 16, then deleted app and reinstalled. All my folders/doc are gone. In the pass docs would refill once logged in to acrobat.. Apple support said not a phone issue. pls help since there is no cs # to call for adobe support. 

so I had done a membership for acrobat on my iPhone 16 Pro and I was having problem editing a very important document so I went ahead and bought the subscription for my laptop which is a Windows laptop and now when I go to open acrobat on my phone it opens and then just shuts right down What have I done wrong?

The Acrobat app keeps crashing on both my iPhone and iPad. I’ve tried restarting the devices, but the issue still persists. Is this a problem on your end or mine? I need to edit files as soon as possible, and this has never happened before.

Hello On my Ipad and Iphone Acrobat reader app keep crashing as soon as open it. I have turn off and off iphone, uninstalled and reinstalled it. It has latest verion and devices got latest IOS but still keeps crashing Not sure what to do?  

Hi All,  It was working fine until today. Adobe Reader keeps crashing only 3 seconds after launching on iPad. I checked my iPad it is on iOS 18.5 which is the latest. Adobe Reader app is also the latest version as of today. I tried restarting iPad and also uninstall Adobe Reader (without deleting files) but none worked.  My biggest concern is loosing all the files (not everything is saved on cloud). Please help.

Been using the Adobe Acrobat app Version 25.05.05 (20250609.204730) on mi IPhone 18.5 for a long time. Today I tried to open the app and it closes immediately after a segons or two. Tried resetting my phone a couple times, deleting the last document downloaded just in case. I even deleted and re installed the app losing some documents I didn't save on the cloud. The app keeps closing after I open it, it won't even let me sign in. 

I can not open Adobe Acrobat Reader app since yesterday.My iPad is iPad Pro IOS version 17.7.8. I tried to turn off and restart my iPad, offload the app and reinstall the app. It doesn't work. It is rather frustrating as a lot of important documents stored in the app became unaccesible. And I dare not to delete the app as all the data would be gone. Please help.

I am struggling with this app for almost a month, and the help topics are hard to understand for a non-IT person.I am using Apple IPad Pro M4 and Adobe Acrobat app shuts down on its own the moment I try to use it. I have tried re-installing it, it didn't help.I read about cleaner app steps but couldn't find the right file to use on Mac.  Please help, appreciate it!

Hey everyone, I'm a little desperate as I use adobe acrobat as my library with all my academic texts and books. I have collected articles and books with comments and highlighted  sentences for years. yesterday the app was crashing on any device. I did the backup on the apple cloud but it seems now that many many texts are missing and that most of them have no comments or marks at all. is there any way to go back to my adobe status and archive of 2 days ago or something like that? thanks for helping me  Edoardo 

App crashes everytime I try to open it. Has been working until today. I have not added any new apps or changed any settings before the problem started.  1. I have restarted my iPad 2. I have deleted the app and reinstalled3. I have reset my iPad. 4. Current version of app is 25.05.055. Ipad version is 18.5 Any help would be greatly appreciated

Every time when I try to open adobe either on my phone or IPad it crashes. It has been happening for 30 minutes now 

Brand new Ipad Pro. After last update from Itunes the app simply opens for a split second and then crashes. Even if I try opening a pdf before opening acrobat. Same process. Program opens for a split second and then program closes. Have re-installed several times and now forced to use a different pdf viewer. Acrobat works fine on my Iphone, just not Ipad.-Dax
