Hello everyone, We've been experiencing the following two problems with Adobe Illustrator for some time now. After saving and reopening the document, some of the color values have changed in isolated areas. This isn't just 1-2% in black, but sometimes 10-15% in all colors (C, M, Y, K). Even after adjusting the colors in the document again, this problem keeps recurring after saving, closing and reopening the same document.When we create transparency masks for certain jobs and save and reopen the file, they are completely destroyed (i.e., text converted to paths, other vector graphics, or even linked graphics are deleted from the mask, and, for example, only a circle is inserted) or the mask is moved to a completely different position. Basically, title. Using alt +  mousewheel to zoom in and out is very laggy and slow (5-10 seconds to update). No issues on previous version or using zoom tool. Issue persists with animated zoom disabled and enabling "zoom with mousewheel". Navigating the document with mousewheel causes the same issue.

We are using Illustrator 2025 (29.4), and a customer sent in an Illustrator file to replace a PDF that they sent us.When we open the file, it warns us that the font is missing. We cancelled to see where it is being used, but no text was highlighted. Then we open the Find/Replace Font dialog box, and it does not flag the fonts as missing.  So our user assumed that the fonts got loaded from the Creative Cloud, and made a PDF. The PDF has the wrong font showing, as it substituted a default font. And now we have to reprint the piece because of this issue with Illustrator. So doing some testing to figure out where the problem lands. I checked all the same dialog boxes that the user did. But I also checked the Missing Fonts dialog box, and it shows the ones that are missing, but still no text is highlighted.Next, I 'Reset All Warning Dialogs', and got the same issue.Then, I 'Reset Preferences', and got the same issue.I'm pretty sure it's an Illustrator 2025 issue at this point.But

I just want to let everyone (and especially Adobe, obviously) know that this is still an issues in Illustrator v 26.3.1 on Windows. I installed Illustrator v26.3.1 fresh on a recently installed Windows 11 computer, and I encountered the same problem on my first attemt to save an .ai file.   The work-around that worked was unchecking BOTH "save in background" AND "export in background". Unchecking either one on its own still produces the error.   So if Anshul is right and it was fixed in v26.2.1 it has either regressed in v26.3.1 or it was fixed in the Mac branch of the code, but not in the Windows (11) branch of the code.   Either way it's still an active bug in Illustrator v26.3.1 on Windows 11.   P.S. The suggested "go to File and Package" etc message on the error dialog doesn't work. The "Package.." option is greyed out.     Last observation: This is a really bad bug to ship your software with, Adobe. You can't expect your customers, who pay a premium

Basically, what the title says- Latest Illustrator on Windows 11. I have a large list of actions that I use daily, and I have them all assigned to the “F” keys along with combinations of the shift and control keys. I just made 3 new actions, and I have Shift+Control F2, F3, and F4 available as shortcuts. The problem is, Shift+Control+F4 is grayed out and there is nothing I have been able to do to unlock it. I don’t see anything else using it either. What can I do to get this working?

Is Adobe’s new Layout Variations feature currently available in the illustrator beta version?I’m not seeing Layout Variations in the toolbar in my beta version.I’m just curious if this feature, as shown in the video Project Remix a Lot - GS3-2, is accessible in the current beta version, as the layout variations toolbar isn’t showing up for me.

Illustrator keeps saying not responding when I try to use.Every time I open Illustrator, it seems like it’s working normally but as soon as I put mouse pointer on the Illustrator window the pointer changes to a loading cursor and I can’t use it. It’s weird because if I don’t put pointer on the Illustrator window, and use keyboard instead of pointer it works.I tried to uninstall Illustrator and install it again, adding .old to the adobe illustrator folders in library folder, updated macOS software, and installing old versions of illustrator. None of them worked tho.It’s been like this for weeks and I need to do some work so please help. I screen recorded what happens when I try to use illustrator.

I had to install Adobe Log Collector Tool yesterday for the agent to diagnose why Illustrator could no longer save work. After installing, it replaced my hard-drive for my macbook on the desktop with the Adobe Log Collector Tool drive and all my desktop folders and screenshots disappeared. Apple customer support could not find them anywhere and was no help. Has this happened to anyone else? Adobe says it’s not their product, but there’s definitely a bug in their software for this to happen. I’m using a Macbook Pro 2023 with Ventura. 

Hello! I’ve got this issue where my illustrator app (up to date) freezes for a few moments any time i specifically use the alt + zoom function. If i press Z and then drag left or right, the zoom is perfectly smooth, but for some reason the alt zoom just completely freezes up my illustrator for like 5 seconds at a time. I’ve got a 4080 super graphics card that i have toggled on and off in GPU performance, GPU view, turned animated zoom on and off, and even set illustrator as a high performance application in the nvidia control panel, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the application. Would love to know if anyone else has had this issue! Ultimately i can do without it i guess, but i’ve been using this zoom reflexively for an absurd amount of time, maybe 7 years at this point, and for some reason on this machine i’m currently working on its messed up. Thanks!

Hi, before last 2025 CC apps updates, i used to add pantone colors to illustrator and indesign with pantone connect plug in. But now, the "add color to app swatch" is missing, i don't know why. So my question is, how can i import Pantone TPG colors to illustrator ? Other swatches can be added with old illustrator versions, but not TPG swatches.Cheers :x

Illustrator crashes every single time I try to export a PDF. I have deadlines and very important work that are at risk of not being delivered thanks to this. Supposedly the best software in the world and this happens?? I have a Mac Book Pro with IOS Tahoe 6.4.1 (25E253), bought 5 months ago, with a Pro Adobe license. There is no plausible excuse for this to happen. I need help ASAP

I was working on a project in Illustrator a few hours ago, had gone out of the window for a second and when I entered the app again (literally seconds later) everything was gone. I updated Illustrator. I tried searching in my Mac Finder for Illustrator Cache and there are no files for it at all. After updating, it showed some of my previous projects, but not the one that I’ve been working on. It shows in the thumbnail all my artboards for that project, but it only opens one of the files I had previously downloaded on my Mac. I have tied ten times to connect to Adobe Support and after ten minutes of waiting for the chatbot to connect me, it just closes the window and asks me to rate the conversation (that I never had!!!) I’m incredibly frustrated. I’m a wedding invitation designer and I’ve been working on this suite for two weeks! Everything had been saved in Creative Cloud but now I can’t even get it to pull up on there. Surely all of this is SOMEWHERE?!?! Please help :( 

I’m creating a laser cut PVC jig for woodworking that needs a very high degree of accuracy.  I have a shape which is essentially a rectangle (with rounded corners) with the two vertical sides angled in by around 0.80 degrees.  I now need to continue those lines slightly further (maintaining the angle) without messing the other parameters or position up.  I can’t figure out how best to do this…! Any thoughts appreciated - thanks. 

...it only renders 1/10th of the dpi set. And since rasterize() caps at 2400dpi, only 240dpi is possible.Any neat ideas or work-arounds other than scaling the document 10x before rasterizing?

Open Illustrator, select Create New, new box pops up with print, web, mobile, etc. preset options - when I select the "print" option, the units are in points, how can I save this preset to display in inches? Selecting inches in "general" preferences does not fix this.
