I installed the 25.11 version of Photoshop last week. The generative fill should have the option in the 3 dot menu for variations to "generate similar". I only get good, bad or report. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no effect. I'm working on an iMac with Sonoma 14.5. When I installed the update, Adobe indicated that my system was compatible. Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.

I use LR-CC 14.5 and PS 26.9 on a Mac M4 with MacOS Sequoia 15.6. Since recent the photo's are not loaded into PS from LR. PS is starting, but then nothing happens. I can however, load a photo direct into PS.I tried to deinstall PS en install again, but that did not solve the issue.Does anyone have a solution?

I have ARW files that i first loaded in ACR applied settings then i used command Load Files into Stack and when all opened as layers, settings that i applied in ACR and saved in sidecar XMP were ignored.

Sorry, as the title I found this exercise in the Adobe site I managed to install the action, brushes and patterns. I tried to follow the tutorials but the videos do not go, they are 3 but always repeats the first.Following the instructions I started the action but it always hangs on the back filling layer, you can help me please?

Hello, I have been fighting with photoshop on this and finally decided to come and ask.I have followed the steps of changing it in preferences, but, it doesn't work for the spell check.I am in the UK, we have different spellings than US English. But the spell check, even though language is set to “English international”(why is there no English UK?) It keeps giving American spelling. Nothing I do seems to change this! It's frustrating and annoying. I have gone to preferences, Account  preferences, everything I can think of. I installed it in the UK, my location is the UK, so why on earth does it keep giving me american spelling?

So, I've been plagued by a weird error today. I was working with some game textures using Photoshop, just some basic stuff with Intel's DDS plugin, as I've been for the last two months or something. Then, suddenly, I couldn't open files with Photoshop still open. I tried, but nothing.So, I went and restarted my computer. Now, I literally couldn't launch Photoshop AT ALL. Nothing, no splashscreen, no error. On the task manager, I had the "Adobe Photoshop 2025" process running, and the "Crash Processor" as well, but nothing on my screen.So, I went and tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No success. Also, in the process, I found that Creative Cloud had 191 error updating (which I solved by changing the main drive used for installation on Windows, so it's ok now).In a last ditch effort, I downloaded the Creative Cloud cleanup tool, removed everything. Installed everything. Same error. Tried again, now removing all of my settings, everything. No success. Tried reinstalling my video driver

Under the print dialogue in photoshop, the document profile says "untagged rgb" which means there is no embedded profile. Any photos I used to scan had a profile, and when I open old photos that i've scanned or worked on that once had a profile, they no longer do. I went into the color management policies under edit -> color settings and my RGB, CMYK, and Gray all say preserve embedded profiles. I am not sure what the actual problem is or why my photos that once automatically had profiles, no longer do. 

I want to use Content-Aware Tracing Tool to convert this low-resolution logo into a high-resolution vector. When I activated this tool only part of the edge is traced because the image is very much rasterized. Suitable values are required in Image Size to trace entire edge. I tried many values, but I am unable to find it. How to fix this? File is uploaded as well.Convert to Vector          

Before a few years i had seen a teaser so that in the future, there would be a ver of Pshop with a feature that would remove/fix any blur cause by movement when shooting a photo. Is this available by any Pshop version today?

I am following the Learnit Training Photoshop Full Course Tutorial on YouTube. At about 1:43 in, the instructor deletes a smart object rectangle on the base layer, drawn with the Rectangle Tool (keyboard shortcut U), by appearing to do no more than selecting it with the Move Tool (keyboard shortcut V) and hitting Delete. After he does that, I can see his base layer returns to just being a transparent layer (the layer created when creating a new document). I am using Photoshop on Mac and cannot delete my rectangle. I ended up deleting the document and starting over. .That video is now about 3 years old. Has the app changed? What am I missing? In future, should I lock my base layer and keep it transparent and draw everything in new layers on top so I can just delete the layer to get rid of the object? Thank you.

I am having an issue with the ruler tool in photoshop. It measures to 2 decimal places (i.e. 457.61) until it reaches a 4 digit number where it stop being as precise (i.e 4147...). I need to measure more precisely. This is not happening across acocunts, only on one computer, Photoshop V25.9 on a WIndows 11 PC.

Cannot Pan/Scroll with Wacom pen in Open/Save/Place type file dialogue windows in mmany if not all of Adobe apps (where every other non-Adobe app I know of does, Apple and other 3rd parties), obviously this pertains to when you've mapped a Wacom pen button to pan/scroll to use in that manner (Wacom settings screen attached).What should happen is being able to interact similar to touch omnidirectional swiping which includes vertical mouse-like scrolling when pressing the button and making contact with the pen, as would be expected and Wacom designed it to do.What instead happens: Adobe apps interpret this as a Quick Look request on click of whatever file is targeted by cursor at the time. This defers from every system norm elsewhere on macOS, 1st and 3rd party. Never witnessed this in a non-Adobe app. Adobe apps are essentially ignoring the pan/scroll input from Wacom pens, but strangely only in those types of windows, which are standard and common macOS type views otherwise and no

If someone has a link to a basic explanation of proper workflow for fonts in PS CC, can you please share? I never had issues with the standalone PS, but the CC version is mystifying to me. I'm on a mac, using the latest everything I think. The regular "Your Fonts" works fine as it always has, but the use of "More Fonts" baffles me. I create a PS doc, I choose a font from More Fonts, write something, it's great. I save it.I open PS again a day later, the doc looks great, all the fonts are the same. BUT if I try to edit those text layers, the fonts are "Missing" so I can't modify anything. Clearly, the fonts are there, because the text looks exactly correct and PS identifies them correctly. I don't want to replace them with Myriad Pro (the only option in the dialog box). I can create a new text layer, choose the More Fonts font again and write it again no problem. More Fonts seems to work fine so long as I dont quit PS, but if I do, those type layers become uneditable beca

I'm a photographer and longtime Adobe user, but I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the monthly limit of just 250 credits regardless of actual usage is far too restrictive for the price we pay. What’s more frustrating is that there’s no option to purchase additional credits; the only path is to upgrade to a higher-tier plan, which feels unnecessary and inflexible. I’d love to hear what alternatives others are exploring

Hi,just got 26.2 and hoping after 30 years of pshop use, CS6 my current weapon,  for intelligent means of painting along a line and Adobes 'AI' assesses what is either side and matches up the pattern, be it brickwork mortar, or roof tile pattern etc.healing brush , no use, pattern doesnt match.have I overlooked any settings ?Having to manually do it brick by brick, tile by tile,There must be hundreds of such edits happening each day, so where is the tool ? Merlin3

"I added a mask to the group in Photoshop, and there are many layers inside the group. I want to apply the mask from the group to all layers inside the group with one click. How can I copy the mask to all layers, or is there a plugin that can achieve this? Why hasn't the Adobe team implemented such a simple feature of copying and pasting masks individually?"

I have a PS file that has about 30 photos all arranged in little columns and rows. Each photo has text associated with it, a name and a date. Every photo and every bit of text is on it's own layer. Is there a way for Photoshop to take all these layers and just scramble them up/randomly distribute them? I've seen stuff about Random Fill, but I don't think that's what I want. And I've seen stuff about creating your own paintbrush, but I don't think that's what I want either. I want whatever the Photoshop equivalent is of nicely lining up a bunch of stuff on the bottom of a box, putting the lid on, and then shaking it. Is that even possible?
