Hi,does anyone know how to contact support, but not through the virtual assistant? I'd like to reset devices (which I no longer have) where I have old CS5 software installed. I know such a reset is possible, but it has to be done by a human. Does anyone have an idea how to get through to support?RegardsD

I’m working in Lab Color mode and I’m trying to isolate the A and B channels while completely removing the L channel. I also don’t want to keep the combined Lab channel.What I want to achieve is to keep only the A + B data (color without luminance), turn that into a visible image, and be able to export/save it to JPEG/PNG/TIFF.So far, copy, paste methods don’t give me the result I’m looking for, as the image becomes black and white, and I understand that A and B aren’t standalone image channels in the usual sense.Is there a way to do this properly or a workaround that would allow me to visualize and export only the A and B information?

I lost all the work I did over the entire day even though I was hitting Cmd+S regularly and still had the ability to work it never saved anything. Then I lost complete control and had to force quit. I lost everything. There was no auto recovery, no saved data. Nothing. This is devastating. I will most likely loose this job because of this! Where’s the temporary files? How can I regain SOMETHING????

I need help with exporting in Photoshop Web. This pop-up dialog comes up: Your document was exported but its Content Credentials couldn't be published or attached. I used the generative upscale on the image of the property but I didn’t like it so I deleted it and when I exported, it won’t let me and it shows the pop-up.

there is a lightbulb icon on the top right corner of photoshop containing tutorials etc. but the symbol itself has an animation on top of it that is really annoying and I can’t get rid of it. I know it shouldn’t annoy me as much as it does, but whatever I try, it won’t stop. On top of that when I minimize Photoshop under MacOS this animation is actually like a separate program layered on top of photoshop which gets SEPARATELY minimized. Please, does anybody know how to get rid of this?I use Photoshop 27.4.0

Hi there, I have an image of a bride wearing some shoes and need to make the shoes look as though they have silver rhinestones on them. Could anybody help me how to do this please? It needs to be high res as it will be the main image on a roller banner. Any help greatly appreciated as I am an absolute novice when it comes to Photoshop. Thankyou

I am trying to translate some jsx scripts I have to use the C# interop and I can’t seem to find an example of how to use the Document.ResizeCanvas function. In jsx there is a UnitValue object so you can specify the units to use. But the interop doesn’t seem to define this object.How do I make sure it is using px, or whatever unit type I want to use?

I'm running PS2025 on an M1 Mac OS Sequioa 15.5 and I've been trying to get 65 images to autoblend without leaving blurred artifacts behind. I grew frustrated with PS not being able to produce suitable images from the auto blend method earlier this year before the price hike and I downloaded a trial software that was able to generate a flawless focus stacked image with no blurred artifacts left behind. My concern is that focus stacking has been a part of PS for a while now and is still very subpar at best. Are there any planned upgrades to this feature? We can remove people & wires, get a near perfect mask in great detail, generate fictional creations that didn't exist in real time at the point of capture using Artificial Intelligence. However, the algorithm to produce a clean focus stacked image suffers. I simply would love to know if work is being done to fix the slop that Adobe Focus Stacking genrates and when can we expect to see this implemented? I didn't fuss to much with the

I am working with Photoshop desktop version 27.4.0 on a Windows 11 computer. I was watching a class on channels that said to turn off the Show Channels in Color in the Preferences/Interface. When I opened the histogram panel per their instructions, it was gray. I have not had it open for a while to the preferences setting may have been a coincidence. The Image mode is RGB, the Channels in the histogram panel is set to RGB. I have reset the histogram panel. I have toggled through all of the hamburger flyout view options in the histogram panel. Show channels in color is checked in that same hamburger menu. I have tried toggling that Show Channels in Color on and off. The computer is using the GPU and it indicates the correct graphics card. The histogram is gray when I open another image or when I create a new one and paint. I have double clicked within the panel to reset it. I’ve encountered an issue with Photoshop version 27.4.0. At work, I frequently used the "Copy SVG" feature to copy various images into Figma—it was very convenient. The generative fill has been stopped working for a week, and it says "try later" when it fails, and sometimes it says "not working in your region." I'm using the latest version of Photoshop, and I've tried installing previous versions, but I'm still experiencing the same issues. What's the problem?

Hey there, can you help me out?Normally, I can use the "Copy SVG" feature in Photoshop on any layer and paste it directly into Figma or Illustrator. But ever since I got a new PC and reinstalled Photoshop, I can't copy layers anymore. I can still copy SVG from shapes and vectors within Photoshop, but with regular layers, I get this error. It's super inconvenient. I have another laptop that still works fine with the "Copy SVG" feature, so I don't know why it's not working on my PC. This is a PNG image. You can see there is bounding box [BB] around it. Is it possible to increase the size of the BB while retaining the size of the image? I ask this because I want to export this image to be used in Ae. If I can do this I can solve a issue in Ae.  

Photo will not download

Trying to use generative ai and I keep getting ‘This feature is currently unavailable’. I have logged out and back in. Updated to the latest Photoshop beta. Checked the status and no issues. Not sure what to do next?

When I try to open photoshop on my laptop it says this messageCatch in IphotoshopApplication, exception encountered filesystem error: in directory:permission denied{"user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2026 OCIO"}  I have updated my laptop software, tried changing permissions and deleting/redownloading the app. 

We have a studet in our school. She createdAdobe cloud data. After the left the school, here Adobe account was deactivated. I saw here account but not as an active one. I shared here data with my Adobe account and was able to download a .zip file. This file contains a couple of .psdc file, but these files can’t be used in Photoshop for example. We want to help the studet to either:Convert the Adopbe Cloud files (.psdc) or Activate here Adobe student account, that she is able to work with the cloud data by here own.

Everytime I open a TIFF file and work on it, I need to go SAVE AS complete dialog to be able to set LZW compression. If I just do SAVE the tiff compression is always set to NONE. Why? Is there a way to fix the option to LZW permanently?

Making selections on a transparent layer, where opacity gradient is involved, around the edge of the transparency, does not function correctly.Repeatable scenario:This works exactly the same in version 26.11.3, and version 27 (not sure which specific version).Set up a document in RGB, 8bit colour, so that you have a single layer that is fully transparent. Select the paintbrush tool and make sure you have a really soft standard brush selected. Draw any shape. Sample shape with soft brushYou should now have a nice soft edged shape, with a gradient transparency from opaque to transparent. Now select either the magic wand tool, or the Select → Colour Range tools and try to make a selection of the colour you have painted. why is photoshop version 26 now bad at AI? is version 27 much different? Since the new version came out, I can't create realistic images with AI. It used to be pretty good, now it's extremely artificial and inaccurate. Am I wrong?

Hi everyone, first post here.   I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to open HEIC files in CS6.   I installed the 2 Microsoft extensions everyone has mentioned but it still wouldn't work.   Then I searched all of the threads where people said the extensions didn't work but could find no solution there, either.   Windows 10 64 bit pro machine.   Up to date.Thx, Chris 

Mac mini M1, running macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 — When double-clicking (or using: ⌘ + O  or  ⌘ + ↓) a photo in the Finder it fails to bring Photoshop 26 to the foreground that is in a different Space or Virtual Desktop. At that point, I have to manually switch to the virtual desktop that Photoshop is assigned to. Thank you in advance for your consideration — long-time Adobe user.

Attached is a low resolution image of my wife and her Mom.  The area on my wife’s forehead that looks like a defect is actually her bangs.  What is the best method to clean this up so it actually looks like her hair and not a defect?
