When using the Remove Tool, sometimes it works but most frequently, after a long while of “Removing area...” I get an error: “Could not complete your request because of a program error”. Clicking the “Learn how to fix” doesn’t offer any help since all the solutions on that page I have tried or are not related with this case.This happens both in Ps Beta 28.0.1 and Ps 27.11.0 but it doesn’t happen always. Summary:When painting with the Brush tool, Photoshop's canvas redraw appears hard-capped at approximately 31–32 FPS, even on a 144Hz monitor with a high-end GPU that is barely utilized during the stroke. Using Photoshop 27.11 on Windows 11, selecting the Object Selection Tool, or sometimes when using the Object Selection Tool, Photoshop will occasionally crash or lockup, sometimes requiring a system shutdown to end the Photoshop task. Unchecking Object Finder, Object Subtract, and Find People Details (under the gear icon) seems to have helped. Resetting Photoshop preferences made no difference. GPU is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.

Hello,I am trying to use the Generative Expand tool to make this image longer (5000px).My goal is to make the image look the same like the original wood texture. I basically want this image but longer without stretching it so it looks natural.The generative expand tool is not giving me anything close.Wood ImageI expand the canvas to 5000px and hit generative expand. Am I doing something wrong or is their a better method for this?

Since the latest update, each time I go to export my file, I'm told that if I export it as a jpeg, I will lose information. This happens whenever I open the export window. It started to happen after the latest update so I am now in Photoshop v 27.0 and I'm running on Windows 11.

Brightness and Contrast have disappeared from the adjustment layer button.Version: 27.10  

When the "find distracting elements" feature is set to search for people, it is no longer possible to remove the identified individuals, as the button to execute the deletion has disappeared in PS version 27.11.

When I want to use the "export layers to files" function in Photoshop, there's always a prefix of the layer number sequence. For example, I'll export a number of layers (to pngs) and the prefix is _0001, _0002, _0003... I don't think this feature necessary in most cases. I already removed the standard 'File Name Prefix' in this dialog box. But, that doesn't hold true after export. Is there a way to quickly remove this default script?   Or if not possible, is there any recommendations on advance 'file renaming tools' like GREP in InDesign?

Hi all. All of a sudden i am unable to open a raw file in photoshop (latest version)  from camera raw (latest version). it was working fine one minute then not the next. Clicking the “open” button does nothing and photoshop doesn’t open. However...if I double click the file in adobe bridge it opens in camera raw and then if i click “open” it will open in photoshop. Any help/suggestions appreciated. i’ve already tried reinstalling camera raw and resetting camera raw preferences

When I select a color with color picker it doesn’t retain the color picked and when I use the brush it bounces all over the canvas. How do I fix this? 

I pay for generative credits that work into my photo editing workflow.  Today out of nowhere I received this message and I could not use the generative tools: “Slow down. We can't wait to generate more content for you. You can try again in a few hours”This was after using it maybe twice in a 30 minute period.  WHAT GIVES?  I have used it as a normal part of editing in way more frequet ways than today.   Why do I have to put work on hold?!  If I’m paying for these credits but they need to be used at a certain “pace”, what is the PACE?  Shouldn’t we be given that info instead of just being locked out seemingly at random?!Very frustrated about this. 

I having my files lockup on me when tring to edit them. I have to shut Photoshop down and reload and the sam thing keeps happing How come

Hello, I am trying to install the Scripting Listener plugin in Photoshop 2021 (mac intel OS 11.5.2). I used the 2020 plugin since it seems to be the latest version. I have installed scriptinglistener.pluging in the ../Photoshop 2021/plug-ins folder and restarted Photoshop. I can find scriptinglistener under plugins or Automate. Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you -JPK

I'm looking to move Photoshop CC from one internal drive to another and keep all my actions, presets and personal settings, can anyone offer any help please I'm using a PC running Windows 11 pro.

It’s opened twice in the last month maybe.. That’s after repeatedly clicking the app. But I’ve not managed to open it now for at least 2 weeks. Nothing’s changed my end. My laptop is powerful enough to run it. It’s up to date and I’ve tried reinstalling it, but no luck.I have seen other comments on here about the same thing. Could it be that one of the latest updates is creating problems for people?It’s frustrating as I only really use Illustrator and Photoshop. So, currently, I am paying a large subscription for software where only 50% is working. I have managed to fudge some stuff on Canva but don’t want to pay for that on top of the Adobe subscroption. And I know I could also use the online version, but it looks very AI heavy - and I just want to use it as I always have.If anyone can help? 

After rotating an image on all 4 sides it creates transparent pixels. In the past I used to know how to remove those transparent pixels (  I think it had something to do with CTRL-click the thumbnail and then use TRIM, but I can't get it to work). Can somebody help me how to remove those transparent pixels?

I have updated to PS 26.11 but Image->Generative Upscale is not there. My gpu is compatible, I am using rgb color space and the image I am using is pretty tiny. My preferences dont show it as a technical option to tick. What gives?

Tiled textureHi - is there a way I can stop a layer effect being applied on the outer bounds of a layer in this instance?Ive got ‘layer mask hides effects’ checked on - but it doesnt work when at the very edges annoyingly 

after i got the updated photoshop 27.11.00 release and the updated RAW plugin , there are no-profile - adobe or matches to my camera. I have Matrix instead , how i can restore the profiles ?

Can anyone help, please? Photoshop has changed the behaviour of the text box, I used to be able to change size seamlessly with good old Command + T. Now, I cannot find a way to make the new, annoying ways to work. If I manage to select the text box and see the handles, only happening while pressing the right button, which is not practical. When I try to reshape, resize, the text size does with it. Etc… I don’t have much time and I’ve already spent two hours on AI platforms to try to figure it out. Thanks!!!
